Kot Chutta (Urdu: كوٹ چهُٹّہ), is a tehsil, an administrative subdivision, of Dera Ghazi Khan District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is a part of Dera Ghazi Khan District. Kot Chutta situated at Famous Indus Highway. Chutta Khan Gurmani a trible sardar of Gurmani Baloch (Chutta Khan Gurmani) who found this area at the same time when Haji Khan Mirrani settled in Dera Ghazi Khan.

Tehsil Kot Chutta is very developed area, the Condition of Health and Education is very good only rural health department in every Union council and one tehsil headquarter Hospital which have low facilitation, in education some new degree colleges are in under construction, the office of Rescue 1122 situated near Basti Malana. ]].[2]
