List of longest-running American television series

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 182.18.225.108 (talk) at 10:57, 10 October 2018 (10–14 years: I change it to rise of the tmnt). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

This is a list of the longest-running United States television series, ordered by number of years the show has been aired. This list includes only first-run series originating in North America and available throughout the United States via national broadcast networks, U.S. cable networks, or syndication. Series continuations (with name changes and/or changes in network) are noted, but series' revivals are treated as separate from the originals (see The People's Court and Jeopardy!). Series broadcast within the U.S. but produced in other countries, such as Coronation Street (50+ years) and Doctor Who are not included (see: List of longest-running UK television series).

Series shaded in light blue with bold are currently in production.
