Tathavade is a census town in Pune district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Tathavade had a population of 7975. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Tathavade has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 63%, and female literacy is 44%. In Tathavade, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
