Fahd Hassan moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Fahd Hassan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – bradv🍁 16:05, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to J'me tire, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 17:43, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Fahd Hassan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability per WP:GNG or WP:BIO.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 22:48, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that you are incorrect to move all these song titles to "XXXX (Maitre Gims song)". Hi, I've moved this for now as it's unsourced. Just so you are aware, we don't generally have articles on a football team's kits and they generally get deleted for violating WP:NOTGALLERY among other things. You may wish to write a few sentences about some of the notable kits at Tunisia national football team but we don't generally have articles listing every small variation in the kit. Speedy deletion nomination of List of Africa Cup of Nations finals

[edit]

Hello محمد أمين الطرابلسي,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of Africa Cup of Nations finals for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Deletion pending for File:Nçayir 2004.png

[edit]

Hello, محمد أمين الطرابلسي. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Nçayir 2004.png — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Though there is often a backlog processing messages received at this address, we should have received your message by now.

  • If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
  • If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.

If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 14:34, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi محمد أمين الطرابلسي. From some reason you are ignoring my request, so I thought maybe opening another thread on the subject will help. I have noticed that you almost always edit without using an edit summary, and over time this has become even worse. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Yes, please use an edit summary. Analysing your work to guess at your reasoning wastes other editor's time, and may result in good edits being reverted because no one understands why they are useful. Certes (talk) 11:30, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
not my business, but in you preferences tab under editing there is a box you can check which reads "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary)". This will alert you when you leave the edit summary box blank, which will hopefully alleviate the need for the others to remind you to add an edit summary. Speedy deletion nomination of 2021 Tunisian Super Cup

[edit]

Hello, محمد أمين الطرابلسي,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Joseywales1961, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged 2021 Tunisian Super Cup for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. You may find our guide for writing quality articles to be extremely informative. Also, you may want to consider working on future articles in draft space first, where they cannot be deleted for lacking content.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Joseywales1961}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 2022 Tunisian Super Cup requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. File permission problem with File:1994 African Cup of Nations logo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:1994 African Cup of Nations logo.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 21:41, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of international goals scored by Islam Slimani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of international goals scored by Islam Slimani. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". [edit]

Information icon Hi محمد أمين الطرابلسي! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of "Tunisia national football team" several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Tunisia national football team, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. I do not want to report you to the administrator's noticeboard. Please stop. Your version is too lengthy and would have to be copyedited. Thank you. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 13:46, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

August 2022: Tunisia football warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on "Tunisia national football team". This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 18:08, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I can review your edits but don't add everything that's unnecessary. Also, the article has to be written in an encyclopedic way. I have reverted to the beginning, but if you add them again, I'll review them and make sure it's appropriate for the article. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 18:26, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tunisia football

[edit]

I reviewed your edits and have decided that while nearly all of the content is unneeded, I have put some of the content that you wrote back in the article. Remember, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and we want articles to be written properly, like an encyclopedia. Please do not reinstate unneeded content, as this constitutes edit warring. I have an administrator watching this page, and you will be blocked if you keep edit warring. Also, this is the English version of Wikipedia; we want articles written in proper English. The World Cup is coming up, and we do not want readers to see a poorly written article. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 18:59, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You should have fixed the spelling, not delete the article, why would you waste my effort like this, I've never gone out of the house for the last four days, and I've been rewriting the article, that's not acceptable, put it back as it was and fix what can be fixed or I'm going to act myself, I'm tired of This situation... محمد أمين الطرابلسي (talk) 05:19, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Look, I know you love your Tunisian football. But let's be honest, do we really need the scores on everything? Other football articles aren't like that. I know that you developed a lot of this article, but I had to make it written in an enyclopedic style. The article was also slanted toward recent events - I fixed it by trimming the history section. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 06:19, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The article was written in Arabic Wikipedia in the same way and it is a featured article, It took 3 years to write it (2017–2020).
See the Australia men's national soccer team, for example, in the history section, the results are detailed and there are more than 50 national team articles written like this, As you know I rewrote the article and made an extra effort to fix what can be fixed, I didn't ask you for the impossible. محمد أمين الطرابلسي (talk) 06:52, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You said you should not put the results of friendly matches, well, I will re-review the previous article and delete the results of friendly matches, especially since the current article I do not like and is very incomplete... محمد أمين الطرابلسي (talk) 17:39, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Honestly, the history section for the Tunisian football article is not incomplete. It's sufficient enough. I think it's perfect the way it is. If you were to write this on the Germany football team or England football team's article, I'm sure that it will be condensed/removed or rewritten. If you were to have the scores then only have the big matches' scores - we don't need the results for every single smaller match. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 20:04, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tunisia football - 3

[edit]

I highly suggest that you stop this.

As soon as independence was proclaimed in 1956, Tunisian football leaders took the necessary steps to create an exclusively national body to replace the Tunisian Football League (an offshoot of the French Football Federation). These steps led to the creation of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) headed by Chedly Zouiten, which was approved on 29 March 1957. Recognized as a public utility, the FTF has since invested in its dual mission of promoting football and managing the national competition as well as the different teams representing Tunisia in international competitions. Inspite of that, Tunisia's national team has been set up before independence. Tunisian coach Rachid Turki has been appointed as Tunisia's first coach. A friendly match was held two days before independence, and this was in front of the Southwest French team. Tunisia succeeded in winning the match thanks to the goal of Ghariani.

The Tunisian squad was the following: Zine el-Abidine Chennoufi, Sadok Dhaou (then Mohieddine Zeghir), Azaiez Jaballah, Driss Messaoud, Hassen Tasco, Abdou Béji, Ali Hannachi « Haj Ali », Amedée Scorsone, Hédi Braïek, Noureddine Diwa, Khemais Ghariani.

It doesn't sound encyclopedic, and it's unsourced.

In the introduction:

The Tunisia national football team (Arabic: منتخب تونس لكرة القدم; French: Équipe de Tunisie de football) is the national team that represents Tunisia in men's international association football since their maiden match in 1957.

We don't use the dates of the first matches in the first sentence of a national team's article.

1978 World Cup match:

This performance has been admired by most analysts who did not expect it, and that has contributed to increasing the number of African teams qualified for the World Cup to become two. The team was received at Tunis–Carthage International Airport by Tunisians, provided by Tunisian President Habib Bourguiba, telling the players that they had accomplished the task of 50 ambassadors, because they contributed to the known of Tunisia internationally.

None of this is sourced.

Aa a host country, Tunisia did not have to qualify for the 2004 African Cup of Nations - we all know that hosts do not have to qualify.

Tunisia qualify for their sixth World Cup - this is incorrect grammar; my version was right.

Tunisia's first match at the stadium was played on 8 September 1967 against Libya. Tunisia won the match 3–0. This stadium became the new stronghold of the Eagles of Carthage. - Do we need the last two sentences?

Please stop. This is edit warring. I will fix the article to make it look like it was written in an encyclopedic way. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 00:10, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for listening to me

[edit]

Thank you. Please note, if you attempt to rewrite the article to your previous version, this is considered edit warring; you will be blocked indefinitely. Your edits were decent this time. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 13:56, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, you make a lot of mistakes so I never have to rely on you, Take this sentence as an example:
Former Côte d'Ivoire manager Henryk Kasperczak was appointed, and the team's results improved. They managed to qualify for the African Cup for the first time in 14 years.
  1. Ivory Coast written in French! (Côte d'Ivoire)
  2. You said that the coach led the team to qualify for the African Cup for the first time in 14 years, yet they played in the 1994 African Cup two years ago.
Other than that there are a lot of mistakes that are about to be fixed! So thank you for wasting my time... After three years of creating the article, here I am going back to zero...
As I repeat to you, your article is so disgusting... محمد أمين الطرابلسي (talk) 21:27, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It's still better than using the wrong English and having content we don't need, isn't it? Please don't put it back or I will report you and get you blocked. This will be an indefinite block. You have done a lot of edit warring, more than enough. I made it well-written and cut unneeded stuff. We can use Côte d'Ivoire. I have no problem with that.
Again, if you do not want to be blocked, do not put back what you wrote. It is poorly written and we don't need that stuff. If you want to edit the article, do minor changes. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 17:37, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
For God's sake, don't text to me again. I hated arguing with you. You mean, everything I wrote does not mean anything, and it is the same text translated from the Arabic wikipedia, and it is a featured article. I also translated the Arabic text into French and the article is in the best condition... محمد أمين الطرابلسي (talk) 17:46, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No wonder the grammar was so poor! If you want the English article to be featured, it can't be written that way. It would require copyediting, and that is exactly what I did. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 17:53, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I still am waiting for the admin to deal with you, as I am tired of you littering high-profile articles with translated nonsense. You already wrote its history article and you're trying to make the main article's history section exactly like your own article, both in terms of grammar and amount of information. There's no point of the history of the team's article if it's just basically stuff copied from the main article. Only do minor edits, and let me edit them if they need it. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia where anyone and everyone can contribute and edit. Nearly but not perfect (talk) 11:33, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Liberia at the Africa Cup of Nations

[edit]

Hello محمد أمين الطرابلسي, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Liberia at the Africa Cup of Nations, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Liberia at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Anwegmann}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Your contributed article, Senegal A' national football team

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Senegal A' national football team. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Senegal national football team. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Senegal national football team. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Fram (talk) 15:07, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
