College football articles
Hi Miszatomic,
Thank you for your recent contributions within the realm of college football. Much is always in need to be added, and new contributors are always welcome. I have been going through some of your college football season articles and do have some suggestions to make those contributions even better.
- When entering the score and win–loss records, please use an en dash per WP:ENDASH.
- When linking articles to other seasons that do not have their own page as of yet, please utilize Template:Cfb link. It will provide a general link to the overall team profile and will automatically be updated by a bot to link to the individual season when it is created.
- Please add at least one reference t each article created that cites the schedule table. The College Football Data Warehouse is a very comprehensive database for all college teams is easier to utilize than searching for and through team media guides.
- When you utilize a previous season as a template for a new one and or copy-paste, please double check each entry before saving the article. For example, in the 1997 Ole Miss Rebels football team, Neyland Stadium was incorrectly listed as the site instead of Vaught–Hemingway Stadium.

Your new articles
Hello. I see where you've been creating college football and basketball articles. I've also noticed that you seem to be forgetting to change the categories at the bottom of each to their appropriate seasons (e.g., 2005 Villanova Wildcats football team was still listed under DEFAULTSORT as "2011", and was also still placed in Category:2011 Colonial Athletic Association football season...it actually should be in Category:2005 Atlantic 10 Conference football season). Please remember to correct this information.
User:Patriarca12 also told you to please use {{Cfb link}} for teams who don't have that season's specific article yet to avoid an excess of red links. So far you have ignored this advice. I know you're new, but it will make your transition into editing Wikipedia much smoother if you follow the advice of experienced editors. Just curious why...
You seem to be creating completly random college football pages, like 1982 Utah State Aggies football team, 1980 Buffalo State Bengals football team, 1940 Eastern Washington Eagles football team, and there are a few others. There doesn't seem to be any significance for these pages to be created. But even if there is, stop including moderen logos for these pages. The teams current logos should not be included for teams that obviously occured way before those logos were even created.Bsuorangecrush (talk) 21:29, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions
We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:
- Views/Day
- Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
- Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
- Sources
- For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?

2012–13 Oxford United F.C. season query
Thanks for grading 2012–13 Oxford United F.C. season. I just wanted to query the "Stub" quality rating you gave it - I've had a quick look at the grading scheme and I think it's a bit more than a Stub: I've had said it was more like a C maybe (though I've little experience of grading articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:
- Views/Day
- Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
- Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
- Sources
- For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?

BACKLOG OF THE WEEK Category:Pages with broken reference names
Hello - some editors fight off the vandal hordes, as I do repairing pages with citation errors. If I didn't - there would be a large backlog in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting and in Category:Pages with missing references list as in Category:Pages with broken reference names (more than 1500 yesterday). But it is impossible to work it alone. Do you know how to do a "Blitz" (excuse the comparision) to find willing editors to work on it. It is much more easier to repair references if you do it one hour, one day or one week ago after the errors were made instead of months and years after the error was done. Very, very difficult to find these errors.
Only with WikiBlame Search it is possible to find and repair such errors.

Hi. I have been editing a lot of Premier league-team articles and noticed that when you added the match results (like here) you used the wrong dash more than once so I felt I had to inform you about that. Also I see when looking at your talkpage you have been reminded about this before so please start using the correct dash so people dont have o do edits like this. The correct dash can be found in the bottom of the edit-box above the edit summary (the symbol on the right of the "insert-box"). Thank you. QED237 (talk) 22:18, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
