Geography

Nanauta is located at 29°43′N 77°25′E / 29.71°N 77.42°E / 29.71; 77.42[1]. It has an average elevation of 255 metres (836 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Nanauta had a population of 16,992. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Nanauta has an average literacy rate of 52%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 60%, and female literacy is 43%. In Nanauta, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
