Your change of the article's name from Dorit Rubinstein Reiss to Dorit Reiss was inappropriate. You should have discussed it with someone. Her formal name in professional circles is Dorit Rubinstein Reiss, not the truncated, and frankly unacceptable, name you used. You might have taken a bit of your time to put it on talk? The problem is that I don't know how to revert your error.

Hi! Just saw that you created a page about Marsh, but I'm not entirely convinced that he's independently notable. Almost all of the sources are only mentions of him or pieces written by him, and none appear to be directly about him. What would convince you he is independently notable then? Two BBC radio interviews, at leat five BBC news articles, 2 in the Telegraph, 2 in the Mirror, 2 in the Daily Mail, 1 by Huffington Post UK. All of those are national news media in the UK and not written by, but about him. Are those articles all entirely about him? No, but they don't have to be: "Significant coverage is more than a trivial mention, but it need not be the main topic of the source material." He acts as a spokesperson for both the MSS and the GTS in many instances, or leads campaigns, projects and investigations. The Olivia Solon article is entirely based on Marshall's investigation, half of the Penman article as well. Others like the Damien Gayle give him quite some space to explain his opinion on the main topic of the article. Also, his Stockholm lecture is broadcast by the Swedish public broadcasting organisation. I think that's rather solid, but I'm interested to hear your opinion. I'm somewhat surprised that you would raise this question, seeing your own excellent article on the Good Thinking Society, the sources and contents of which partly overlap with Marshall's page because they're closely intertwined. Thanks for the compliment. I used primarily Dutch language sources, but it shouldn't be a problem to find the same historical data in English works.

• L. de Blois & R.J. van der Spek, Een kennismaking met de Oude Wereld (2004). Bussum: Uitgeverij Coutinho.
• Encarta-encyclopedie Winkler Prins (1993–2002). Microsoft Corporation/Het Spectrum. (several articles)
• Xavier Adams & Liek Mulder, Historische Atlas (1997). Baarn: Uitgeverij Nijgh Versluys.
• Various articles on English and Dutch Wikipedia.

Note that not all dates are accurate to the same degree, and some are arbitrary to a certain extent. There is, for example, no agreement amongst historians when the Neo-Assyrian Empire began: some say around 900 BCE, others place it much later during the reign of Tiglath-Pileser III (r. 745–727 BCE). Thanks for pointing this out, I didn't explain myself properly. Indeed, British English literature does not use 'skeptic' more often than 'sceptic' as you show above. But the words don't necessarily mean the same (anymore). Sceptic has a connotation of the categorical dismissal of any claim, negativity and cynicism, whereas skeptic stands for doubting and investigating extraordinary claims, consumer protection and empathy. So it's not merely a case of 'pollution', rather an enrichment of British vocabulary with a new word that sounds the same and is written similar to another word, but has a different meaning.

So, instead of "British English", what I should have said is that the skeptical movement (in the UK and elsewhere, including Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands etc. where the official spelling is also with a c) uses the k almost exclusively instead of the c. For example, every British Skeptics in the Pub event (with the exception of Eastbourne) uses the k (in fact, the London SITP was the first in the world, and has always been spelt with a k). All UK organisations also use the k: Association for Skeptical Enquiry, Edinburgh Skeptics, Glasgow Skeptics, Merseyside Skeptics Society, Hampshire Skeptics, Winchester Skeptics, Berkshire Skeptics etc. In fact, the Merseyside Skeptics run a podcast called Skeptics with a K to make this clear distinction between sceptic and skeptic. In an April Fools episode, they called themselves Sceptics with a C and accepted all extraordinary claims in the media without any critical thought, yet again showing that they see the words as different. Ah ok, thanks for mentioning it. I was aware that translations require such an attribution, so unless I translate my own texts, I always add a translate template on the talk page of a new article. As it happens, I did attribute a copied text from Alexander II Zabinas to Seleucid Dynastic Wars half an hour before the edit you mention above as I somehow felt that was appropriate (I didn't know there was actually a rule for this), but didn't do the same with the edit above. Hello! I'm sorry, but my English is very bad! Some points of Your Edit in Fireworks#Government regulations around the world#Germany are not correct, the reference (http://www.deutschlandfunk.de/feuerwerk-sicher-durch-die-silvesternacht.735.de.html?dram:article_id=406860) contains some mistakes (German journalists mostly are not good informed about fireworks).

In Germany people of 18 years and older (see § 20, 1. SprengV (= Erste Verordnung zu Sprengstoffgesetz)) can buy fireworks of Category F2 on the last three days of the year (29/12 - 31/12). If one of these days is a Sunday the sale starts on 28/12 (see § 22 I, 1. SprengV). People of 18 years and older are allowed to ignite fireworks of Category F2 on 31/12 and 1/1, but it is forbidden to ignite fireworks near churches, hospitals, children's homes, rest homes and flammable buildings (i.e. thatched houses) (see § 23 I + II, 1. SprengV). German municipality are authorised to limit the number of hours for fireworks "mit ausschließlich Knallwirkung" (i.e. firecrackers, Dutch: knalvuurwerk).

In Germany there are some restrictions in Category F2 for people without pyrotechnical license: i.e. No flash powder in Firecrackers and cakes of firecrackers; rockets (Vuurpijlen) are limited to 20g NEM (Kruitgewicht); (see §20 IV, 1. SprengV).

At Talk:Mark Z. Jacobson, an editor mentions two articles he's edited in Dutch. I suspect these are the same fanboy material we've had problems with on enWP for ages, can you have a look please when you have a minute? For some reason after being mad keen to tell the world he was going to get a retraction because libel, suddenly Jacobson doesn't want anyone to know about his SLAPP suit.
