Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is an upcoming video game developed by Team Ninja and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the third installment in the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series and is the sequel to 2006's Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and 2009's Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2.[1] This is the first Marvel game published by Nintendo.

Characters

Playable Characters

The game's playable characters and roster are heavily inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a majority of its characters are from the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, the Defenders, and the Inhumans, though the X-Men are featured in the game as well.

Additionally, supervillains Ultron, Green Goblin, Sandman, Kingpin, the Sentinels, Ronan the Accuser, Ultimo, and Nebula are all present in the debut trailer. Thanos and the Black Order appear as the central villains.

Development

The game was first revealed at The Game Awards 2018.[2] The game is scheduled to be released on July 19, 2019.[3]
