This is a list of characters from the 2006 Disney/Pixar film, Cars.
Rust-eze Medicated Bumper Ointment Rear End Formula team
#95 Lightning McQueen
Lightning McQueen is voiced by Owen Wilson. He is the Piston Cup rookie. Lightning McQueen's sponsor is Rusteze Medicated Bumper Ointment. His number is 95. Mack is the truck which drives him to his races. Mia and Tia, twin cars, claim to be his number one fans. In the opening race, eager to win, McQueen does not change his tires. Near the end, his rear tires pop, and a three-way tie occurs, with Lightning using his toungue to try and cross the line. When McQueen finds himself in Radiator Springs, Mater, a rusty old pick-up truck, becomes his best friend.
Mack
Main article: Mack (Cars)
Voiced by John Ratzenberger. Mack is Lightning McQueen's truck. He drives Lightning to his races.
Lightning's Pit Crew
Lightning McQueen's pit crew are generic forklifts who quit following McQueen's refusal to pit for tires which nearly costs him the first race in the movie. One of them, presumably the acting crew chief (his official one having been recently fired), is referred to by McQueen as "Chuck," only to remind him that his name is "not Chuck." Later, they tell Mater, Luigi and Guido about Lighting McQueen's ignorance. Voiced by Mike Nelson, this particular one is identified in the credits only as "Not Chuck."
Harv
Harv is Lightning McQueen's agent. He is heard only twice in the movie, when Lightning McQueen and Mack are in the route to the tiebreaker race, by voice. When Harv contacts Lightning McQueen when he later is found in Radiator Springs, Harv misinterprets the town's name and says "Radiation Stinks". He talks to Lightning McQueen in a speakerphone built into Mack's trailer.
Harv was voiced by Jeremy Piven in the US release, but was voiced by Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson in the UK release.
Jeremy Piven, possibly by coincidence but more likely by design, plays a similar character (an agent, no less) named Ari Gold on HBO's Entourage.
Rusty and Dusty Rust-eze
The Rust-eze Brothers, Rusty and Dusty, are the spokescars for Rust-Eze, the team that sponsors Lightning. Rusty is a 1964 Dodge A100, and Dusty, a 1963 Dodge Dart V10. Rusty is voiced by Tom Magliozzi and Dusty is voiced by Ray Magliozzi, respectively. The characters were originally named to "Clink and Clunk", a reference to the Car Talk hosts' on-air nicknames of "Click and Clack". The '63 Dart bears an intentional resemblance to Ray's infamous green Dart, named "The Dartre". In a deleted scene shown on the DVD, these two would have had no association with Lightning McQueen other than a chance encounter at a truck stop which Mack was allowed to stop at briefly.
Dinoco Team
#43 The King
Voiced by Richard Petty. The King, Dinoco's "Golden Boy" has won 2 Piston Cups. He is number 43. He has a spoiler. king is alway calm during a race. He gives advice to Lightning McQueen, reminding him that he would be nowhere without his team. However, McQueen does not listen to this, he instead dreams of having Dinoco as a sponsor.
Mrs. The King
Mrs. The King , a 1972 Chrysler Town and Country station wagon with a solid nose painted in Petty blue, is The King's wife. She is voiced by Lynda Petty, Richard Petty's real-life wife. She's identical to a car that the Pettys drove themselves and their children to the races in during the 1970s.
Tex
Tex, a gold 1975 Cadillac Coupe de Ville with a Texas accent and a pair of horns from a Longhorn steer in place of a hood ornament, is the owner of Dinoco and the friend of The King "Strip Weathers". Voiced by Humpy Wheeler. After the tie-breaker race, he offers Lightning the coveted Dinoco sponsorship, which Lightning declines in favor of staying with his current sponsor, to which Tex replies that he respects his decision, but to let him know if there's anything he needs, which Lightning takes up by arranging for Mater to have a ride in the Dinoco Helicopter.
Dinoco Helicopter
The Dinoco helicopter is a part of the company that sponsors Strip "The King" Weathers. He gives Mater a ride at the end of the movie as per an arrangement between Tex and Lightning. Based on a Bell 222, but greatly upsized and with extra main rotor blades. Which at end of movie Mater rides it like he has always wanted to.
Dinoco Gals
The Dinoco gals are showgirls who promote Dinoco. They are seen sporting the 'Dinoco Blue' color and feathered tiaras. They are the exact same model as Kori Turbowitz.
Hostile Takeover Bank team
#86 Chick Hicks
Voiced by Michael Keaton. Chick Hicks is number 86. Chick has a mustache. Chick is sponsored by "Hostile Takeover Banks". He competes with McQueen for the Piston Cup, often cheating in order to make his way to the top. Chick is very aggressive.
Chick Hicks' Pit Crew
Chick Hicks' pit crew is a group of forklifts (all wearing false moustaches similar to Chick's) who mainly give gas and change tires for Chick, with a Dodge Ram pickup as the Crew Chief, providing important tactical information on the other racers (ie, telling Chick that Lightning had blown a tire in the first race). They make fun of Guido before he demonstrates his lightning-fast tire changing, causing the forklifts to drop their false moustaches in disbelief, the largest of them only doing so when Guido says "Peet stop", one of his few English lines in the film. Their names are unknown.
Radiator Springs Populace
Mater
Mater is an old, rusty tow truck who lives in Radiator Springs. When Lightning McQueen finds himself in Radiator Springs, Mater and McQueen grow to be best friends.
Voiced by Larry The Cable Guy.
Doc Hudson
Doc Hudson is a secret racecar, a Piston Cup winner. He won the cup 3 times, but after a wreck, was not allowed to race again.
Voiced by Paul Newman.
Sally
Voiced by Bonnie Hunt. Sally is a Porsche who owns the Cozy Cone motel. Lightning McQueen has a crush on her.
Luigi
Voiced by Tony Shalhoub. Luigi is a Fiat 500 who run The Casa Della Tires shop. Guido, the forklift, is his partner.
Guido
Voiced by Guido Quaroni. Guido is a tiny forklift who works at Casa Della Tires with Luigi and becomes Lightning McQueen's pit stop crew and can change a tire in 2.5 seconds flat!
Ramone
Voiced by Cheech Marin. Ramone owns a spray paint shop to paint cars. Every so often, in the movie, Ramone's color changes, as if he had painted himself. He is married to Flo.

Lizzie
Lizzie is a Ford Model T in the film Cars. She runs a curio shop called Lizzie's Curio Shop. In the Cars Diecast Line, she is rare along with Sarge, Nitroade and Leakless. In the videogame, she loses some postcards and asks Lightning McQueen to help her.
Red
Voiced by Joe Ranft.
Frank
Frank is a Kubota orange combine harvester and the guardian of the tractors that resembles a bull. After Lightning McQueen's 1st encounter with Frank, Lightning has a nightmare that he, The King, and Chick Hicks are beaten by Frank himself in the tie-breaker race in fact, Chick gets shredded, and his remains are shot out of Frank's straw chute.
Tractors
The tractors (resembling cows) appear when Mater and Lightning go tractor tipping (similar to cow tipping), and also in a stampede through the middle of town, likely provoked by Mater's antics. They also appear in the nightmare McQueen has about Frank winning the Piston Cup, wherein Lightning is surrounded by the tractors, one of which licks him. According to Mater, they are quite dumb. They are American 1950s Chewall tractors, as evidenced by the fact that the word "Chewall" is written on them. This may also be a pun on the fact that cows apparently spend most of their time chewing, and on the real-life Farmall brand of farm machinery.
Bessie
Bessie is the asphalt paver whom Lightning McQueen uses to repair the damage that he had inadvertently done to Radiator Springs' main road. She has a tendency of boiling over, and large air bubbles have been known to burst, sending hot asphalt onto anyone who is unlucky enough to be told to pull her, ruining their paint jobs. In fact, Lightning gets asphalt over his own paint job, and even after a hose-down by Big Red, a speck of asphalt remains throughout the film, covering the shiny lightning bolt on his right side.
At the end of the film, Bessie appears once more. This time, she is being pulled by The Delinquent Road Hazards, which Sheriff had them impounded for speeding. As she did with Lightning, she boils over, ruining their paint jobs.
Unlike the other characters in the film, Bessie is not anthropomorphic.
Stanley
Stanley is Radiator Springs' late founder and was Lizzie's husband. He is only seen in a painting and as a statue. He happens to be a cross between a 1909 Ford Model T and a Stanley Steamer. He and Mater have the same teeth, similar eyes, and similar posture, leading some fans to speculate that the two are related.

Boost
Boost is the leader of four cars that tamper with Mack. His N20 Cola cylinders allow him to go super-fast[citation needed], and his fluorescent lighting emits a purple glow. His appearance is somewhat similar to a cross between an Eagle Talon and a 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Boost sports one of the most detailed paint jobs in the Mattel diecast lineup. He has violet metal flake paint and simulated carbon fiber hood and wheel wells along with N20 decals on his boosters.
DJ
DJ is one of the three cars that Boost leads. He can play music from his large stereo system, and his fluorescent lighting emits a blue glow. His appearance is similar to a 2004 Toyota Scion xB.
Wingo
Wingo is one of the three cars that Boost leads. He sports a ladder of spoilers. His fluorescent lighting glows green. The decals on his sides read IMPO-TO which is import in Japanese. Wingo is often mistaken for the leader of the group, due to being the last to appear in a close up during the gang's introduction as well as being the most noticeable.
Snot Rod
Snot Rod is one of the three cars that Boost leads. He can shoot flames when he sneezes out of his exhaust pipes that jut upward from his sides, but his "allergies" can be a hindrance to their pranks. His fluorescent lighting emits an orange glow. His appearance is similar to the 1970-71 Plymouth or Dodge E-Body "Barracuda" or "Challenger" models.

#4 Tow Cap
A white and purple race car. In the video game, Tow Cap's sponsor is Faux Wheel Drive and in VS. mode is called Clarkson.
#8 Junior
Template:Cars character Junior is a fan of The King, since he is almost always around him. He also expresses concern for Lightning's welfare during a brief interview following his disappearance. Voiced by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and Junior is Dale Jr.'s No. 8 racecar minus the Budweiser sponsorship. (Replacement of alcohol and tobacco sponsor logos with similar-appearing depictions of the driver's name is standard NASCAR practice for any product marketed to children.)
In the theatrical release, Junior's trailer carries prominent "Dale Earnhardt, Jr." lettering, which confirms that he is Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (This lettering is not present in the U.S. DVD release.) However, his full name, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is written on him. Unlike most of the Piston Cup racers, Junior is not seen in the video game.
A viewer with keen eyes has spotted Junior racing in the Motor Speedway of the South in the pits.
#28 Nitroade
Nitroade is another additional racecar. His main colours are black with an orange Nitroade logo on his side. Nitroade is also one of the hardest cars to find in the die cast model range. He is a Ford Taurus. In the video game, his name is Joltsen. His sponsor is based off of the Real sports drink, Gatorade. Nitroade also makes an appearance in the Nintendo DS version, only in the Piston Cup races. number is 13
#33 Mood Springs
The dark blue race car named (Neon) with springs on his paint job. After getting badly damaged while everyone (except Lightning) headed to the pits, he protested being towed off, wanting to continue the race. (Quote: Don't take me out, coach. I can still race!) In the video game, he is named Banks in VS. mode.
#34 Trunk Fresh
A black & green race car with flower-like stars on him. In the video game, his number is 56, his sponsor is Mood Springs and in VS. mode, he is named Buck.
#35 Shifty Drug
A reddish pink and yellow race car.
#36 Tank Coat
A pink racecar. He appears in the Nintendo DS version of Cars.
#39 View Zeen
A light blue and orange racecar. The colors bare a resemblance to the colors of the Dinoco sign.
#43 Dinoco
This is The King. He has won more Piston Cups than any other racer.
#51 Easy Idle
A racecar who bares a resemblance with Vitoline but is blue.
#52 Leakless
Leakless is a Chevrolet Monte Carlo and is yellow at the front, black around the tires, yellow again, white from the door panels to the back tires, and black with Leakless Adult drip pans stickers. He is one of several cars involved in "The Big One" (started by Chick). He also helped Lightning leap up into the air and made a pose to the audience. In the video game, he is named Hollister and goes under the number 282, but does look similar to Leakless in the movie. Leakless, like Nitroade, also makes an appearance in the Nintendo DS version, only in the Piston Cup races.
#54 Faux Wheel Drive
A green and blue race car. In the video game, the car's number is 191 and is called Cortland in VS. mode.
#56 Fiber Fuel
The car with the wheat on him. In the video game, the number is 33 and the car is called McCoy in VS. mode.
#58 Octane Gain
This orange race car appears to be a Toyota Camry, which NASCAR will start using in 2007. In the video game, his sponsor is Transberry Juice and is called Henderson in VS. mode.
#61 Vitoline
A green racecar. In the Video Game, the car's name is Aikens. He also appears in the Nintendo DS version.
#63 Transberry Juice
A red-violet and yellow race car. In the video game he is blue and has the number 58 and in VS. mode is called Medford. Chick Hicks bumped into him after Elvis RV said "Uh!" His sponsorship can't be seen in the film, but in the video game, it can, and also on The Mack Transporter playset, the logo, which bears resemblance to to the colors of #63, so we can only assume it is his sponsor.
#64 RPM
A yellow Piston Cup race car. In the video game the car's number is 84 and goes under the name of Riley.
#65 Seal Faun
A racecar with a seal as a logo. The same goes for the logos of Dinoco and Ferrari.
#68 N20
A purple and green racecar. Official sponsor of the N20 Cola Boost uses.
#70 Gasprin
The #70 Gasprin racer is a blue racecar. He makes an appearance in the Nintendo DS version in the Piston Cup races.
#73 Rev-N-Go
A blue racecar with a yellow 73. Seen in the "Big One" caused by Chick.
#74 Sidewall Shine
A yellow, white, black and red racecar. In the video game, the sponsor is RPM and in Vs. Mode, is called Zeb.
#76 Vinyl Toupee
A purple racecar with a toupee-like thing on the head. He also appears in the Nintendo DS version on Cars with other Piston Cup race cars.
#78 Wing Cream
This racecar has a ladders spoiler and a carbon fiber head.
#79 Retread
A blue racecar. In the video game, his sponsor is Re-Volting and is called Turner in VS. mode.
#80 Creme-Filled Gaskits
The #80 Creme-Filled Gaskits racer is a colorful racecar. This is also the same model as Wingo.
#82 Shiny Wax
A green vortex car. When you watch Lightning right before Lightning makes his Rust-Eze appearance, you can see Shiny Wax as a background hauler. Though often confused as the #32 car, The Art of Cars book shows him as the 82.
#84 Apple Computer
This white race car's number represents the year that Apple's Macintosh hit the market along with Apple Computer. Pixar, the animation company which created "Cars", is run by Steve Jobs, Apple Computer's CEO. This car is seen after the restart and the same number as Re-Volting.
#84 Re-Volting
The #84 Re-Volting racer is an red and black race car. Often confused with the #79 Retread Car by fans. In the video game, the car is known as Bashman in VS. mode.
#86 Hostile Takeover Bank
This is Chick Hicks. He started the big crash in the opening race. McQueen gave him the nickname of Thunder.
#90 Bumper Save
An aqua green & white race car.
#92 Sputter Stop
A blue-green, white and pink-red racecar. He appears in the Nintendo DS version of Cars.
#93 Spare Mint
A blue racecar.
#95 Rust-eze Medicated Bumper Ointment
This is Lightning McQueen. He is a red car with lightning bolts on his sides.
#101 Tack-O-Mints
The brown & white Candy Cane-style car. In the video game, his name is Guenther and his number is 117.
#117 Lil' Torquey Pistons
A blue race car with a red circle that sponsors Lil' Torquey Pistons. In the video game, the car's number is 101 and is known as Lee Jr.
#121 Clutch-Aid
Another additional racer. In the Video Game, he goes by the name Suregrip and his number is 123.
#123 No Stall
The red (with checkered flag stripes) race car that crashed into Leakless during the big wreck, causing Leakless to flip onto him. In the video game in VS. mode, he is called Masterson, and his number is 121.

#13 Nitroade
Became #28 Nitroade. He is green and has the number 13, which are both said to bring bad luck to a NASCAR driver.

Announcers
Darrell Cartrip
Darrell Cartrip is an announcer at the Piston Cup races. He is a 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. He was a former Piston Cup Racer due to his looks & wheels. Voiced by Darrell Waltrip, his character being an obvious pun on his name. He raced a 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo with stacked headlights. He often raced with the number 17. Darrell is fond of colorful flame paint schemes. Cartrip utters "Boogity boogity boogity!" as the tiebreaker race starts; the real-life Darrell also utters this at the start of every NASCAR race and during some restarts. Also, right after the multicar wreck starts, Darrell announces "Trouble!"; this is usually said by NASCAR commentators during or after a wreck. Cartrip also appears in the video game as the sole announcer, as well as being playable in VS. and Arcade mode.
Bob Cutlass
Bob Cutlass is an announcer at the Piston Cup races and friend toward Darrell Cartrip. He is a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora. Voiced by Bob Costas, who is well known for his various works on NBC. Although the name is a reference to the Oldsmobile Cutlass, which is said to be the best-known model name for the General Motors division that was discontinued after 2004, he is actually shown as an Aurora. Just like Darrell Cartrip, the name "Bob Cutlass", is a pun on "Bob Costas", his voice actor. However, unlike his broadcast partner Cartrip, Cutlass does not appear in the video game.
Track Officials
Marco
Marco is a security car who appears before the tie-breaker race with Fred, refusing to let the rusty car in without a garage pass, even after Mario Andretti 'recognizes' him by reading the license plate name tag Fred's wearing. He is a 2002 Ford Expedition SUV. Voiced by Phil Lorin. There are several other SUV's that look just like him, but with different voices, all serving as security during both Piston Cup races in the film.
Souvenir Cars
The souvenir cars are cars who sell antenna balls to cheer the racers on (akin to foam hands in real-life sporting events). They are vans, most likely Chevrolet Astros. They appear in both the tie-breaker and the Dinoco 400, where the only one to be heard speaking says, "Get your antenna balls here!"
Flag Truck
The flag truck holds the flags to control the Piston Cup races, the "Official". A blue & yellow Ford F-150 pickup truck.
Pace Car
The pace car is the car who sets the pace whenever the race is due to be restarted after a yellow flag situation. Model indeterminate, though he vaguely resembles the Pontiac Grand Prix pace car used at International Speedway Corporation-owned race tracks. He sports an amber paint scheme with a matching lightbar atop of himself. The pace car makes a cameo appearance in the Nintendo DS version of Cars.
Reporters
Kori Turbowitz
Kori Turbowitz is a fictional reporter car. Voiced by Sarah Clark. She looks like a light green Ford Puma. She appears the most of any of the reporter cars, first seen at the Dinoco 400 interviewing McQueen after the race, then at the Los Angeles International Speedway when it's first revealed that Lightning is missing, then again among the pack of reporters that besieges McQueen when he's found in Radiator Springs, also revealing that it was Doc Hudson who had tipped the press off about his presence when she tells him "Thanks for the call."
Camera Car
The camera car is one of the few car reporters who is featured a little. He is mainly shown holding a camera.
Japanese News Reporter
The Japanese news reporter, a Chibi female four-door, is a minor car who appears after Lightning turns up missing at California. Reputed to be a chibi depiction of a Mazda AZ-1. She reports "はい！マックイーン選手は行方が分からないという情報がただいま入ってきました". Voiced by Sonoko Konishi, one of Pixar's Japanese staffs.
News Helicopters
Helicopters fitted with steadicams and spotlights, seen at the Dinoco 400, the tie-breaker race in L.A., and in Radiator Springs when Lightning is discovered (Mater mistakes the spotlight of one for the fabled 'Ghost Light'). Only one is heard speaking; a red female one that says, "We've found McQueen, we have found McQueen!".

Mia & Tia
Voiced by Lindsay Collins (Mia) and Elissa Knight (Tia).
Fred the Rusty Car
Fred is one of the many fans in the Rust-eze tent at the beginning of the movie. He's also seen at the beginning of the final race and during the credits. A running gag in the movie is that whenever he get's excited, his front bumper falls off. Another running gag is that he appears to be unaware that his license plate reads "Hellomynameis" and then underneath, "FRED", and he is thrilled beyond belief when McQueen and later Mario Andretti address him by name. Voiced by Andrew Stanton. A 1962 Rambler Ambassador.
Lightning McQueen's Biggest Fan
Lightning McQueen's Biggest Fan (self-proclaimed as such because of his size) is a motorhome race fan. Voiced By Douglas Mater Keever. The red flags on his side say,"McQueen's Biggest Fan." The other motor homes find him loud. In the Dinoco 400, he said "YEAH MCQUEEN! KA CHOW!, the last word being emphasized with a deep airhorn blast. He is also moved to tears by McQueen's act of respect towards The King at the end of the last race.
Elvis RV
Elvis RV is a character who sings the intro song in the film. He is featured in the Super Bowl commercial and is a lover of both Sheryl Crow and Elvis Presley. Voiced by Sheryl Crow herself. A white Ford F350 pickup with a black camper shell on the back that is styled to resemble Elvis' hairstyle. In her appearance, the Motorhome says "Uh!", in sync to Sheryl Crow's song "Real Gone" which is playing as background music. This character can also be seen behind Darrell Cartrip and Bob Cutlass just before the start of the tie-breaker race, though she is silent.
Yahoo
Yahoo is another motorhome race fan. Voiced by Larry Benton. 1978 Class A motor home.
Right
Right is yet another Motorhome race fan who is also voiced by Larry Benton.
"K .I. N. G." Motorhomes
The "K .I. N. G." motorhomes are four different motor home race fans in blue who each have a letter that spells King on their face.
Bi-Plane
A red and white aerobatic bi-plane that, with his smoke, writes Piston Cup Races. His only line is "Uh-Oh!" when the Marine Corps fighter jets approach, causing him to bank hard to avoid them. He was only seen in the tie breaker race.
Jets
US Marine Corps fighters that sponsor the final race by flying over it. Based on the AV-8 Harrier II attack aircraft, but with wingtip Sidewinder missile rails and twin outward-canted vertical stabilizers and afterburning engines taken from the F/A-18 Hornet. They also appear briefly from behind The King when Darrell Cartrip and Bob Cutlass are discussing him and his other two major competitors for the Piston Cup at the start of the film. A toy version of one of these planes is also seen being held by a young fan in the audience of the tie-breaker race.

Jay Limo
Jay Limo is an obvious car parody of famous comedian Jay Leno, who provides his voice. A generic limousine, most closely resembling a stretched late-1990s Lincoln Town Car. He appears during the media response to Lightning's disappearance, wherein he takes a jab at the MIA racer by saying that he doesn't know which is harder to find; McQueen or a crew chief that will work with him, in reference to him firing three crew chiefs in a single season.
Michael Schumacher
Michael Schumacher is a red Ferrari F430 who appears both at the end of the film and during the credits. He appears as a customer at Luigi's Casa della Tires, and just the thrill of finally having a real Ferrari come to the tire store is enough to make Luigi pass out, and when Michael talks to Guido in Italian, Guido himself faints as well. Voiced by himself. He can also be seen outside the Doc Hudson museum, and at the grand re-opening of the Wheel Well Motel.
Michael Schumacher's Friends
Two 2004 Maserati Quattroportes that join Michael Schumacher at the Casa Della Tires, as well as outside the Doc Hudson museum and at the grand re-opening of the Wheel Well Motel. One is green, the other is white. Coincidentally, these two cars together with Michael Schumacher form the colors of the Italian flag, with Schumacher being red.
Mario Andretti
Mario Andretti is a 1967 Ford Fairlane race car, based on the car in which himself, who provides his voice, won the 1967 Daytona 500. He appears before the final race with Marco and Fred.
Dee Ann Andretti
Dee Ann Andretti appears with with her husband Mario Andretti, both as cars. She is one of the few cars that appear in the movie (and stand out) but does not speak at all.
The Governator
The Governator is a car parody of current (2006) governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Voiced by Arnold Schwarzenegger, himself. He's a Humvee, which Arnold Schwarzenegger actually was the first one to own. In the movie, he orders a nationwide search for Lightning McQueen after the rookie racer turns up missing in the California track, saying for the news broadcast:
"Lightning McQueen must be found at all costs!"
The roof racks on the top of the Humvee resembles Schwarzenegger's distinctive hairstyle.
Poser "Never Been Off-Road" SUV
The poser "Never been off-road" SUV is a vain Hummer H1 that appears during the Sarge's Boot Camp sequence during the credits. He is tricked out with aftermarket Spinners. He seems to be very scared of getting himself dirty. The poser SUV satirise the association of SUV with bling-bling culture as found commonly in rap music videos and also satirizes SUV owners vain attitudes and its unwillingness to go off-roading.
Mattress-Carrying SUV
The SUV that holds a mattress has no definite name. The SUV is only seen at the end of the Life is A Highway sequence, and later in the epilogue driving into Radiator Springs, plus showing off new large tires out in front of Luigi's shop. The SUV seems to get confused when it comes to turning on its signal lights, Lighting Mcqueen quotes by saying "A minivan? Come on, Mack, this is Lighting Mcqueen you're hauling here!" And you will hear him say "miniminimini".
Peterbilt
The Peterbilt is a Peterbilt 362 truck that Lightning mistakes for Mack, to which he replies, "Mack? I ain't no Mack! I'm a Peterbilt, for dang sake!" and he leaves, saying "Turn on your lights, you moron!" He was towing a hand-painted 'recycled batteries' trailer with lighting similar to that on Mack's trailer. Voiced by Joe Ranft.
A113
A113 is the train who nearly runs Lightning over. The code number of the train is a common Pixar in-joke. An GM Electro-Motive F7A and F7B set of locomotives, pulling a train of lightweight streamliner passenger and freight cars.
Minny and Van
Minny and Van are spouses. They get lost and try to find their way back to Interstate 40, but pass through Radiator Springs without buying anything and eventually wind up off-road. Van (the husband) is apparently arrogant, as he claims that he has a global positioning system (GPS for short) in himself, and both of them are equipped with car alarms, which they arm after their encounter with Lightning McQueen when he begs them to call for help. After the end of the credits, we find out that Minny and Van have ended up somewhere lost in the desert, having not asked for directions, and Van has almost become insane. Their names combined is a pun on "minivan". Minny is voiced by Edie McClurg, and Van by Richard Kind.
Minny appears to be a Dodge Caravan, while Van most closely resembles a Saturn Relay, his grille resembling a moustache, a feature common among several characters in the film.
Big Al
Not seen in the film, Big Al is remembered by Lizzie as being the only vehicle with sufficient horsepower to pull Bessie, the asphalt machine. He is not in Radiator Springs at the time of the film, having left 15 years previously, but might have been seen in the Flashback segment.
Doreen
Also not seen in the film, Doreen is an attractive pickup truck that looked like a Jaguar as mentioned by Mater. He claimed he would often crash into her for the chance to speak to her.
Bugs
These are little flies, and each one is a flying 1966 VW Bug. There are a load of them at Wheel Well and also some of them at Flo's V8 cafe, and a few are even seen buzzing around Minny and Van after the end credits when they're shown lost in the desert, one of which bumps into the camera lens, becoming momentarily dazed before flying offscreen. One bug with abnormally bright headlights (spoofing a firefly) appears in the short film Mater and the Ghostlight.

Spaceship-esque car, voiced by Tim Allen.

A green BMW Isetta with small horns and a single eye, voiced by Billy Crystal.

The Circus Cars
The Circus Cars are the bugs in A Bug's Life parody, along with Flik car and PT Flea. One uses Guido's model, although in pink with a red nose and wig, without the fork arms. Others in this group include a semi truck and a 1970's Cadillac.
Pizza Planet delivery truck
The Pizza Planet delivery truck from the Toy Story movies, seen briefly just before the start of the tie-breaker race; a faded yellow Toyota pickup with a white camper shell and a red & white rocket ship on the top.

The Purple Car with a Flame Job is a purple car with an orange flame job on his bumper.
Gold Car with Small Mustache
The Gold Car with Small Mustache is a gold car with a small mustache who is seen coming out of Luigi's Casa Della Tires.
Red Car with Mahagony Bumper
A red Cadillac-like car who was being towed to Flo's V-8 Cafe by Young Mater.
Red and White Truck at Flo's
A red & white truck seen at Flo's V-8 Cafe. Could possibly be Big Al.
Green and White Truck Leaving Town
Seen driving out of Radiator Springs.
Green Car That Looks Like Flo
A green car entering the town. The car bears a resemblance to the cafe owner, Flo.
Mater and the Ghostlight
The Ghostlight
A small orb of blue translucent light that haunts Radiator Springs. Is revealed to be nonexistent outside of urban legend, its' only physical manifestation being a lantern used to play a prank on Mater.
The Screaming Banshee
Template:Cars character A giant engineering vehicle with a busted windshield, two huge exhaust gases on both sides and an ad-hoc assortment of parts, including a crane arm on the left side, an excavator's bucket on the right arm, large metal grinding wheels, and a big scooper of a mouth with the word 'BANSHEE' printed on the front. Mentioned by Doc Hudson, he appears after the Mater and the Ghostlight end credits. He at first is growling as if about to attack Mater, but is then stupefied when Mater doesn't recognize him and warns him about the monster before bidding him farewell and leaving.
Cars Video Game
Fletcher
A green racecar from Great Britain bearing the number 3. Speaks like a stereotypical British gentleman. Oddly, the opening sequence of the game, which is later revealed to be a dream that McQueen is having, features Fletcher, but when McQueen later encounters Fletcher in the waking world, it appears to be their first meeting.
Gerald
A gray British racecar bearing the number 4. Is most often seen with Fletcher.
El Guapo
A green racecar from Mexico. Is extremely self-confident. His self-confidence is lifted greatly when he gets gold rims on his wheels.
Papo
A purple and blue Mexican racecar. Is almost always seen with El Guapo. He appears to speak only Spanish.
Vince
A red racecar from Queens, New York bearing the number 9. He and his team appear to be close friends with Chick. Voiced by Jerry DeCapua.
Barry
An orange New Yorker racecar bearing the number 8. Speaks in a shrill, whiny, grating voice which greatly irritates the rest of his team, who frequently deliberately hit him. Despite the mistreatment, he idolizes his team leader, Vince.
Sonny
A gray New Yorker racecar bearing the number 0. His voice is reminiscent of that of a chain-smoker.
Lenny
A blue New Yorker racecar bearing the number 66. After his first appearance with the rest of the New York racers, he is never seen again; he is replaced on the team by Chick Hicks.
Tommy Joe
Mater's long-lost cousin who races with him in the Rustbucket Race-O-Rama, a demolition derby. He is painted white, but is caked with mud. He bears the number 83. He likes to greet new people he meets by crashing into them (as described by Mater as a "hood butt").
Buford
Another Rustbucket racer. Is blue-gray and bears the number 70.
Cletus
A blue Rustbucket racer.
Judd
A brown Rustbucket racer bearing the number 5.
Lewis
A gray Rustbucket racer bearing the number 31.
Zeke
A white, bucktoothed Rustbucket racer bearing the number 15.
Count Spatula
A large monster truck with sharp teeth and horns. Has many breakfast-related catchphrases. Is the only video-game exclusive character who is playable in the game.
The Crippler
A monster truck who appears to have once been an ambulance.
Ginormous
A monster truck with a loose front fender. He never speaks; he only screams.
