  • Merge: International Association for Energy Economics with Energy economics. The page for this association has been tagged with multiple issues for five years: COI, ADVERT, single source, and lack of multiple sources. The only issue that's been resolved in several years is the removal of copyvio from the Association's official website. Current sources for this article are almost entirely links to this organization, its publications, and its affiliate organizations. The exceptions were to one third party summary of an IAEE publication and to one Archive.org page, which appears to have tried to reference an affiliate IAEE chapter but instead pulls up an unrelated page of old movie posters. Although this organization ought to be notable--it's nearly fifty years old and has legitimate academics on its council--it keeps such a low profile that there doesn't seem to be enough independent third party coverage to rewrite this obvious PR piece into an encyclopedic article. If anyone wants to try, here are the sources I was able to dig up.[1][2] Most of the search engine returns resolved to primary sources or the LinkedIn pages of individuals affiliated with the organization. Since there doesn't seem to be a prospect of a reasonably encyclopedic article about this association itself, propose merging salvageable content into the general topic of Energy economics. Moved discussion to proper talk page / merge discussion section

  • Merge SVDK to SVD (rifle). The SVDK is a variant of the SVD chambered of a different calibre. Per WP:Firearms, Variants of a model of a firearm such as folding/telescoping stock variants, target versions, variants chambered in a new caliber, compact/carbine variants, models covered by the same factory-issued users manual generally should not receive their own article. Instead, use a section for the variant in the parent firearm's article or consolidate it into a table or the text. Contents from the SVDK should be merged to the SVD, since the SVD is the parent firearm. JTC22 (talk) 13:08, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
into Pirates Constructible Strategy Game. Several other articles describing the game's expansions have already been merged into the main page, so it makes sense to merge the rest as well to keep things consistent. The other articles have also been described as not being notable enough to stand on their own, so it follows that the ones in the merger request don't either. into Tripuri dances, [which] article already contains virtually all of the information anyways, and none of the former have enough documentation to warrant their own articles. Fritzmann (message me) 18:43, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
  • Merge Skunks as pets into the main article on Skunks, after removing the main portion that read as a guide it seems to me that there is (primarily) two relevant portions of this article that fall within Wikipedia's scope: History, Temperament, legality, and perhaps portions of the politics section. All of this should be merged into the "relations with humans" section on the Skunk article. Alexcs114 :) 01:42, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

... into Spy Kids. The characters' articles are almost all plot, have very few sources, and lack the content notable fictional character articles need like ratings, receptions, cultural impact, etc. 2603:7000:26F0:74B0:7D75:BD72:E6CE:715E (talk) 20:02, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

  • Merge: incels.is into incel. This is procedural, based on a just recently closed AfD (see page). The AfD closed with a consensus to merge, but since this consensus, I have increased the incels.is a lot in sourcing and content though, so maybe a merge is now not necessary. I am still posting the request here, de jure, per WP:PM since both articles are large and one is GA class. (I am post this just to get the articles tagged, because as a logged-out IP, I cannot tag the second one). 2001:48F8:3004:FC4:48EA:35CE:A536:B342 (talk) 20:16, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
    •  Working For merges resulting from an AfD outcome, the Proposed mergers process is considered unnecessary, and no further tagging is required. I suggets giving the closer and discussion participants around two weeks to implement the merge themselves since they are in a better place to evaluate the consensus than someone previously completely uninvolved. Merge Living torpedoes into Human Torpedo. This Merge was first proposed in 2013, and has always been supported by users. "Living torpedoes" focuses on an aspect of WWII Polish resistance, an instance of the wider phenomenon. 192.77.12.11 (talk) 03:39, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

Please don't re-open 10 year old merge requests. Form a new one with a current date. GenQuest "scribble" 18:40, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
Okay, I've updated the Human Torpedo talk page with a modern Proposal. Would you like me to reopen my request here, or leave it as is? 192.77.12.11 (talk) 02:04, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
Working Closed with consensus to merge; WikiProject Poland notified to help assist with the merger. Felix QW (talk) 11:19, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
Done Redirected without merging content, as there is no unchallenged encyclopedic content on the source page. Felix QW (talk) 15:33, 8 June 2023 (UTC)

The issue was not the fact that the merger was not properly implemented, but rather that there is an entire Category:Masters athletics world record progressions. Therefore it was felt that merging a single page into 800 metres world record progression did not make much sense. Felix QW (talk) 19:49, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
@Felix QW: I didn't see this whole category, obviously it would make no sense to merge a single article. But there's still the same problem: a huge collection of hardly developable tiny articles that could be gathered into fewer larger articles – I do not say only one of course, but some merging could be made, for example all age and/or sex categories for each discipline in one article. 176.159.12.72 (talk) 13:59, 31 March 2023 (UTC)

into Sefer Reis These articles were merged into Sefer Reis for failing WP:GNG, but its creator unmerged them; another user remerged them, but again the creator unmerged them and insists other people should discuss it first, but not him. The content has been left in their targets, and in all of them except one only their creator wants to keep them separated. WP:REDUNDANT. Wareno (talk) 18:36, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
