Elections
- Chicago mayoral election, 2015 will occur on February 24. The current mayor, Rahm Emanuel, is eligible for re-election.[2]
- 2015 United States elections will be held on November 3. By-elections to the United States Congress will appear.[3]
- United States gubernatorial elections, 2015 will occur on November 3.
Kentucky[4], Louisiana[5], and Mississippi[6] will have gubernatorial elections.
- Philadelphia mayoral election, 2015 will take place on November 3. A new mayor will be elected.[7]

- 2015 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the U.S. national figure skating competition, will take place from January 18 to 25. It will be held in Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.[8]
