Of the English leads, Cristina Valenzuela is the more fortunate, as Louise has Eiji Usatsuka's blindingly cute design to fall back on. Valenzuela also has the good sense to tone down Louise's wilder swings, creating a slightly more mature variation on the character.

Cristina Vee, whom I would have thought a shoe-in to play Umi, largely reprising what she showed us for Mio Akiyama in K-On!, instead is given the quirky ditz and plays it well. Kotori is pitched in a way that is slightly odd in comparison to more natural voices for high school girls in English speaking contexts, but that matches how Kotori sounds and yet does not become a distraction.

I never would've anticipated Cristina to be cast as Velvet, but she's done pretty great so far, and no doubt once she adjusts to the role, she'll sound even better. It's a lot more sultry and low than most of the roles she's done before, but she did damn well as our new favorite badass.

I recall seeing someone say that it is Sailor Moon meets Kim Possible. Considering both series are extremely well-done that is a great thing to hear and shows the great potential this series has. Moreover it is a fair enough stamen. More so when the voice of Mariette, Christina Vee, is also that of Sailor Mars in the new Viz Media dub of the classic anime.

Despite my initial thoughts, the voice acting has certainly improved as well. The previous game really didn't do a great job of differentiating the voices, as it felt like almost everyone was trying to do their best impersonation of Cristina Vee's Compa instead of setting themselves apart. ... Special mention has to go to Melissa Fahn for channeling the old Sailor Moon dub for Neptune, and the aforementioned Cristina Vee doing really well playing against her usual type as the vulgar tomboy Croire.

There is full voice acting for certain events, and it's all spot-on but sadly, there just isn't enough of it; this feels like a bit of a waste when talent such as Cristina Vee are on-board

I'm pals with Cristina Vee, an accomplished anime and games voice actor, who'd previously directed VO on the fighting game Skullgirls. Cristina and I had worked on a few WayForward demos together, so when we began discussing the VO for Til Morning's Light with Amazon Game Studios, I knew immediately that I wanted Cristina to be our VO director.

Well, Cat Girl Without Salad is real, and it's part of the Humble Bundle subscription service. The final game isn't as nuts as the joke screenshot—instead it divides each element of parody into a different level—but it's a complete game. WayForward even gave it a storyline and had Cristina Vee voice heroine Kebako.
