The 22683 / 84 Yesvantpur - Lucknow Express is an Express train belonging to Indian Railways South Western Railway zone that runs between Yesvantpur Junction and Lucknow Charbagh in India.[1]

It operates as train number 22641from Yesvantpur Junction to Lucknow Charbagh and as train number 22684 in the reverse direction serving the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

This train will soon originate / terminate from Bareilly Junction as per latest orders by Railway board, exact new schedule of train is yet to announce.

Coaches

The 22683 / 84 Yesvantpur - Lucknow Express has one AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tier, seven sleeper class, six general unreserved & two SLR (seating with luggage rake) coaches and two high capacity parcel van coaches. It does not carry a pantry car coach.[2]

As is customary with most train services in India, coach composition may be amended at the discretion of Indian Railways depending on demand.

The 22683 Yesvantpur Junction - Lucknow Charbagh Express covers the distance of 2,335 km (1,451 mi) in 43 hours 00 mins (54 km/hr) & in 43 hours 00 mins as the 22684 Lucknow Charbagh - Yesvantpur Junction Express (54 km/hr).

As the average speed of the train is lower than 55 km/h (34 mph), as per railway rules, its fare doesn't includes a Superfast surcharge.

Routing

The 22683 / 84 Yesvantpur - Lucknow Express runs from Yesvantpur Junction via Dharmavaram Junction, Dhone Junction, Kacheguda, Warangal, Balharshah Junction, Itarsi Junction, Jabalpur Junction, Allahabad Junction, Rae Bareli Junction to Lucknow Charbagh.

Important: This train will soon originate / terminate from Bareilly Junction as per latest orders by Railway board, exact new schedule of train is yet to announce.

Traction

As the route is partially electrified,a Guntakal Junction based an WDM-3A diesel locomotive pulls the train up to Kacheguda, later a Itarsi Junction based WAP-4 locomotive powers the train up to Itarsi Junction , later a Itarsi Junction based WDM-3Adiesel locomotive pulls the train to its destination.
