The song was a tribute to the Pakistan Army as well as to those who lost their lives during the partition of India. The song was aired with the theme "Dedicated to those who sacrifice their todays for our tomorrows", and a monologue voiceover of filmmaker Shahzad Nawaz:

،یہ ہے تمہارے نام
It is for you,
،اس مٹی کے بہتے لہو کے نام
For the running blood of this soil,
،میرے دل میں بسے جان سے پیارے
For the beloved that is in my heart,
پاکستان کے نام۔
For Pakistan.

Originally sung by Naseem Begum, the recreated version featured all the line-up artists, who were scheduled to feature in Coke Studio.[47] Upon release the song went viral on the internet, garnering more than five million viewers in less than five hours of its release. Additionally, the song received overwhelming response from both critics and the audience. The Indian newspaper Firstpost called the song "memorable".[48]
