Barr Township (T11N R9W) is located in Macoupin County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 329 and it contained 155 housing units.[1]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.79 square miles (95.3 km2), of which 36.63 square miles (94.9 km2) (or 99.57%) is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 km2) (or 0.43%) is water.[1]
