re: Cleanup of Cordless Iron This is a joke article... just enough mumbo jumbo to seem to say something. The clincher - the end discussion talking about thermal mass. E=mC^2 the enegy statement about mass... an Iron needs to have a lot of mass, and therefore is an energy hog. There may be 'cordless Irons', but they went out with the coal stove and top hats. Hi, this is a circular to Wikipedians in Ireland to draw your attention to Wikimedia UK, where the establishment of a local Wikimedia chapter for the United Kingdom (and possibly for the Republic of Ireland) is being discussed.                  I don't know why you insist that Françoise Dior had a "considerable fortune;" she and the rest of the Dior family inherited absolutely nothing on the death of Christian Dior.  The little cash she did own came from her grandmother.
                 Secondly, Martin Webster came to Paris on the scrounge.  It was Mirleau who gave him the money, not Françoise.
                 Finally, Savitri Devi stunk!  She carried her own concentrated essence of cats' piss about on her clothes and what I wrote about the garlic is no joke.  Ask anyone who ever met her.  As to Jordan giving her up to the police, she wasn't the only one he handed over that day.  They wanted "all the foreigners present."
                 She was refused entry to Jersey because dressed in her ragged grey coat with eleven battered suitcases and two old iron typewriters, she stood out amongst the crowd of holidaymakers going over on a day trip.
                 Pity all this destroys a few myths.

I've just made a small change to the page of Christion Dior, not that I suppose it will remain for long, and would like you to "Wikify" it for me if you'd be so kind. I'm far too old for this kind of stuff, on top of that, I'd forgotten to log in. It might help to put an end once and for all to the idiotic myth that Françoise inherited all his cash simply because they had the same name. He turns up in the Avesta a few times and is connected to the tradition of temple fire [1]. Keresaspa/Kərəsāspa (Avestan, Sanskrit/Hindi Krigagya, MP Kershasp), scion of the Sama-Yima (=Skt Samyama) family, was second son of Thrita and younger brother of Urvaxshaya the just. He grew up in Vehkeret (i.e. Greater Khorasan) and possessed khvarenah, the divine glory.

Keresaspa's older brother Urvaxshaya is killed by the evil Hitaspa (who does not like Urvaxshaya's judgments), so Keresaspa succeeds Thrita to the throne. In Indic mythology Keresaspa/Krigagya becomes king of Bengal.

Keresaspa became the mightiest of the mighty and the slayer of evil creatures. His favourite weapon was the spiked mace with which he takes revenge on Hitaspa for the death of his brother. Keresaspa destroyed the yellow-green dragon Azi Zairita, also known as the horned Azi Sruvara, who could swallow men and horses whole. In a battle lasting 9 days and 9 nights, and with the help of the waters, Keresaspa slew the gigantic and "yellow heeled" Gandaresa, hider of the white Haoma and hazard of the sea who tries to devour the good creation of Asha. Keresaspa also killed the evil boy Snavidhaka, who killed with his nails and who had boasted that when he grew up he would make the heavens his chariot, the earth his wheel, and would yoke both Ahura Mazda and Angra Mainyu as his steeds. At the final renovation of the world, Keresaspa will be brought back to life to destroy Azi Dahaka (who has just devoured Angra Mainyu).

A paitika (a class of demons matching the fravashis) named Knathaiti grew enchanted by Keresaspa and so followed him everywhere. In tradition, she bewitches Keresaspa into deep slumber, from which he will only recover at the final renovation of the world. But according to scripture, Knathaiti is so taken by Keresaspa that she turned against Angra Mainyu and became a protector of heroes, whom she grants supernatural strength.

Iranian National Socialist Party

This doesn't seem to be an official political party anywhere. Most of the claims in the article are also unsourced (and there's no way to verify them). Their website is also nothing but a private Geocities website almost anyone can create. I was going to nominate this for deletion, but I thought I check with you first. What do you think? I've changed it to a redirect to Sumka who have a similar name in English and are much better known. If this other group eventually proves to be more than just a couple of guys it can always be restored so there's probably no need for a deletion listing. Keresaspa 16:36, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

If you don't mind we can just keep the discussion here. The redirect looks good to me. Thanks a lot. I'll take a look at this Sumka, but at first glance it appears to be more of a hate group. Coming from their mission statement: "The Iranian Nazi Party (SUMKA) members can be distinguished by their character of Arab and Muslim Hating. We are relentless enemies of Arabs and Muslims. We are also hate Jews . we are Extremely Anti-Arab." Their official title (as it appears on the blog) reads thusly (in Persian): "Iran National-Socialist Workers Party: Enmity with Iran and Iranians is hidden in the character of every foreigner." It looked like it had been copied straight out of "Searchlight" or some "Anti-Nazi League" publication overegging the cake (eg. the old "Strasserite split" storyline that has been doing the rounds since Martin Walker's innocent moot in the Guardian back in the 1970s, & been recycled that those that ought to know better more times than a milk bottle. Right wing extremism

Just thought I'd let you know how much I enjoy your articles on the subject. I'm also a graduate in Politics (from the early 70s though). In the late 70s I started a book on the history of the NF, but gave up when I found out Martin Walker from the Guardian was working full time on the same! Later, as part of a course on Political Education, I was able to use a lot of the research for a thesis on the NF and the 1974 elections. Since being on Wikipedia, I have added to a lot of articles around the general theme, especially election performance of the NF and BNP.

• From what I can gather from what I've read the Britons was more of a pressure group that also functioned as a publisher but the activism side ground to something of a halt when Henry Hamilton Beamish emigrated. I felt a merger was probably the best as the overlap was too great to justify two articles. Now I am, in Manhattan, with access to all the wonderful {{Archives]].

Only on nthis month have I discovered some fascinating stuff - that might interest you, as a historian and scholar on EXTREMISM. Apparently, a.k.a. Casimir Palmer was a "spotter for you Brits. I'm an American - so do not exactly know what a "spotter" means, yet.

But, anyway, Casimir got Lenin incarcerated in Canada during the World War.

I have now found that John Higham was wrong when he accused him of trying to "extort" $50,000 from the American Jewish Committee in 1919. He actually had an ongoing amicable correspondence with the officers of the AJC, persistently providing the agency with information on antisemitism, and he tried to get his material published with the assistance of the AJC.

If you are at all specifically familiar with the Protocols of Zion you should find this to be a fascinating story. He was upset at one point for being scooped by another reporter--I often forget his unusual name--something like Hapgood--he worked for a Hearst paper.

Anyway, the Protocols of Zion were scooped by the British Fascists--and I find, supprisingly, that not much is yet known about exactly who and how the notorious publications occurred.

For example, I have not been successful in obtaining the obituaries of Victor E. Marsden, who died on October 28, 1920. I believe he was a postumous "front" for The Britons. What I mean by this is that they merely used his name on their publication of these "Protocols." We know, for example, that it was George Shanks who first translated these for Eyre & Spottiswoode Ltd. Now scholars say that in 1921 the Victor E. Marsden translation had been published, by The Britons as I recollected. However, an examination of the British Library online catalog shows that the earliest, dated, imprint held by the Library bears the date of 1922--and it is an imprint by the Britons Publishing Society. So you can imagine--as a historian--why I want to know about these two, distinct or different styled organizations. For quite a while know, like Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, I've been suspecting that Victor E. Marsden is a scapegoat of the successor organization(s) of The Britons.

NF and BNP tables

I see you're still updating details on the election results pages I created for the NF and BNP - well done. And I like the way you have converted my efforts into wikitables - they certainly look much better, with one exception. I'd originally done the tables as as I did for two reasons: firstly, every time I tried to create a wikitable the PC froze (!) and, secondly, it was the only way I could get figures to line up decimally (you know, with the hundreds, tens and units in columns like I was taught at school nearly 50 years ago!). I always prefer that with columns of figures. The answer to this question is probably "No", but is there any way at all to this in a wikitable? Emeraude 20:33, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

I allowed myself to drop mention of the alliance with Nazi Germany from the lead for now - the FRN was actually created as a cordon sanitaire against Nazism, backed by France and the UK, and only later drifted, under special circumstances, towards subservience to Hitler; this should perhaps be made clear in the lead when expanded to what the MoS calls for, but I had the priority of expanding other parts of the text before taking it into consideration. Project news Criteria for B-Class status: The assessment criteria for B-Class have been changed. {{WikiProject Germany}} template now has 5 switches, B-Class-1 through B-Class-5 that correspond to 5 easily checked criteria that an article should meet to be assessed as B-Class. The advantage of this system is that now there is a clear boundary between Start-Class and B-Class articles. Authors of articles that were assessed as Start-Class now get more direct feedback what they should improve to attain a B-Class rating. All of our B-Class, Start-Class and Stub-Class articles now need to be checked whether they meet any of the B-Class criteria. This is a major effort, and we need your help! If you want to help, but don't know how, please post at the project talkpage. Cities and municipalities task force A task force dedicated to creating and improving articles on all German cities and municipalities has been started and is looking for help.

• I've added a little about the government's reason for banning the group but generally I think the article is a very good start as written. I'll have a look at some stuff at home (I do my work from uni computers but most of my books are at home unfortunately) but I see no reason why you couldn't put the article up as it is. By the way, I'm not great at the Wikipedia referencing style so perhaps you could improve the bit I added in those terms. All in all, very good work and I'm glad to see the article on here. • Hi there. I've had a go at expanding it a bit but as I'm sure you've probably found Google isn't much use for this sort of stuff. I have a copy of the SFA's 100th anniversary book at home and will go through it tonight in the hope of finding some useful stuff in there. I think I may have a handle on their kit and I'll update that bit as soon as I figure out the colours system. WOW!! I didn't expect such such a big improvment. I have tried google and asking around the Stirling Albion fans but never got much also the kit looks about right from a few descriptions I have had but I have also been informed by a older member of the Stirling support that KP played in Claret and Amber not sure on this but I am trying to find a website I used months ago that had some of the strips on it. I will keep you posted on info I get and I will try to include some of that into the article. Thanks for your help with this article as I just didn't have a clue about them. • It's looking pretty OK compared to some of the articles on defunct Scottish clubs but if you can keep digging there's always room for improvements. I notice from your userpage that you're based in Stirling. I'm not sure what the local paer archives are like but if they're any good it could be worth investigating. League of Saint George (emblem found!)

Hello, I've seen the article on the League of Saint George, the actual emblem image of this organization is missing. I have found the full emblem of the League of Saint George [the neo-nazi Organization from Great Britain], in an ad frame of the organization's journal "League Review". The source is from an old book from D.C.Yermak.

• Sorry about not getting back to you sooner but I've been doing a million and one things lately. Also I can't really help on this score. My expertise in uploading images is non-existent and there are so many rules with regards to copyright on here that most things end up getting deleted anyway. Soviet statistics in Kazakhstan League

I would suggest not to list the table of champions of Soviet Second LeagueB, Zone 7 and later 8. Because, it didnt include only kazakh teams, but neighboring uzbek, tajik, turkmen teams. Also, teams like Kairat, Meliorator, Traktor, Shakhter played in higher Soviet divisions those years. So, the first normal Kazakhstan League started only after the Independence, i.e. in 1992.

King's Park

Hi again. I have noticed that someone else has been adding information to the page. I'm just wanting you to have a look as what has been added I haven't heard of through my research. I was just wanting to know from what you have looked at can confirm these edits. Mostly to do with how King's Park closed down. Also about the Luftwaffe I know it was them but the newer edit added what 'unit' was involved - cant find this either. It's probally just me that hasn't found this info but before I change it could you have a look and get back to me since you have done most of the work on the article thanks Gorillamusic 21:40, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

• I see what you mean. The guy who added the stuff in question has a tendency to do this on other articles i.e. add in fairly minutely detailed accounts of events without referencing them. What he has added could well be correct but, like you, it's not anything I have come across as yet. It's possible it was the Luftwaffe unit that the article now claims but it's going to be very hard to source as the bombing would not have been national news as bombs were falling all over the country at the time. The best thing we can do is to stick a couple of those citation needed tags on the new stuff and wait a while. Then if nothing is forthcoming in a month or so we can probably go ahead and remove it. WikiProject Newsletter n°1

Bonjour and welcome to the first WikiProject France newsletter!! It should become a monthly special of our project, but until the next issue, here are some points to consider for the month:

• In an effort to determine the active members from the inactive, all members are asked to simply sign on my special userpage.
• I have slightly rearranged and updated the Project page, putting all the featured lists in collapsible tables. This unclutteres the page and you only have to see them if you want to. Give your feelings at the talk page.
• I have made a Wikipedia advert for our project, Image:Qxz-ad108.gif, what do you think? Personally I feel the words need improving ...
• There are still map problems at Template:French commune - any help at resolving them would be greatly appreciated.
• What about starting a monthly drive? We currently have no Featured Portals (except for the Basque Portal which really isn't French any way), so how about improving Portal:France??? I don't know what's exactly wrong but the criteria can be seen at Wikipedia:Featured portal criteria.

It's been one high aiming month! The French WikiProject and related pages have been aiming high for Christmas - and have received an equal number of presents in return!

• The French Portal is now a Featured Portal!!! It passed its Candidacy with 100%. Special thanks go to NYArtsnWords and all those that have made this Portal work.
• The Newsletter has made it to a second issue. You can find its page at WikiProject France/Outreach/Newsletter and its archives at WikiProject France/Outreach/Newsletter/Archives.
• A new page has been setup (WikiProject France/Links) to provide an index of the Projects/Portals pages (as well as helping newbees). When creating any pages in the Project/Portal namespace, please add them to the index page. This page also give WP:FRANCE members a handy watchlist.
• As like last time, members are asked to renew their memberships at Wikipedia:WikiProject France/Members.
