Thanks for providing more references. What a biography of a living person (BLP) needs are inline references - please follow this link for how to go about it. What I find most helpful is to add a 'Cite' button to the editing toolbar. Go to <My preferences> and then to the <Gadgets> tab. Check <refTools>. That makes inline citing a lot easier. Err not really - The Peter Gould list will do most people. My list is same detail but broken down per tram so an entry for 765's section looks like this (765 is correct, but I have altered the notes on the others to give some variety)

It looks gibberish to look at normal, but if you go in edit mode and copy the whole content, and paste this into a text file, you can then open it in a spreadsheet like excel and see it all in proper colomns. Soon for it? I would say that before an article goes up it should be ready for main space, isn't that what user sandboxes are for? In any event, you have touched up the article and notability is more clear now than it was before, so I agree with you there. I have readded the prose tag, now to the appropriate section, as it shouldn't be removed until the issue is addressed. I'm currently trying to go through unreviewed new pages, otherwise I would help by rewriting the section in prose. If you're unwilling/unable to do it, hopefully the tag will prompt someone else too. Erich Albrecht citation from Who's Who in America 1980-1981

I wasn't able to access many of the resources I cited in the AfD for Erich Albrecht since most of these have been shipped offsite from our library for storage as older items. However, I was able to get hold of one of the Who's Who in America (Chicago : Marquis Who's Who, 1981) entries (I think this was the last time he showed up there). Feel free to use and cite directly to bolster the article, or to follow up on some of the information (e.g., the books he's published). This is an exact transcription of the entry for him (all abbreviations are exactly as printed) except that I did highlight a couple of items. I think the key ties to Albrecht the translator and Albrecht the academic are that he served in the US Army 1942-45, and was appointed Special Consultant to the Secretary of war in 1945.

I just wanted to thank you for your contributions to the Edward Drobyshevski article. Without your valiant efforts, the article would almost certainly not have survived AfD. Furthermore, even though he's a fringe source, he's now a fringe source with reliable source coverage so that some sort of decent wikipedia article can be written. Out of curiosity, is there anywhere on the internet or wikipedia that gives a list of alternate Russian transliterations? The difficulty of google searching the wrong transliteration has come up on other Russian individual articles as well.... Dear Kupdung, I do not feel your approach is helpful but hope you are having fun. This appears to me relevant here: Wiki-hounding is disruption to another user's own enjoyment of editing, or to the project generally, for no overriding reason. If "following another user around" is accompanied by tendentiousness, personal attacks, or other disruptive behavior, it may become a very serious matter... Stub tags are not a criticism of your, or anyone else's valuable contributions to the encyclopedia. Every new article that is correctly written and referenced, and is clearly of encyclopedic value, however short, is a net benefit to the knowledge base that this encylopedia has become. You may update or reclassify them at any time of course, as well as all the other additions editors make to articles you have created - all improvements are appreciated. Also, don't hesitate to consider lending a hand at the enormous backlog tasks of stub sorting and new article patrolling that the handful of volunteers are trying to do their best at. We genuinely do need all the help we can get, even if we do occasionaly make near misses. It will help to reduce the error rate. BTW: I don't recall ever having written a Jaques Faivre article, perhaps you mean the direct translation I made of of this of which of course the English translation is more accurately composed and sourced than its French original. I happened to be working on the 2005+ section adding some references to recent issues and due to recent discussions about use of non-free images in lists decided to remove it. I may have overstated the policy but we should remember the use of non-free images that can be replaced with free ones don't comply with the non-free policy and should not be used, besides which WP:NFLISTS #6 also says that: Consider restricting such uses to ... elements or those that cannot be described easily in text. We don't describe any of them so unless we were to describe each stamp we wanted to include, we might leave ourselves open to the situation that has arisen recently where some people have argued that the list of Eastenders characters could possibly end up with 400 non-free images though it now seems they have all been deleted. Obviously this was an extreme situation but I think the other non-free images should really be removed (one even I uploaded) but I am open to any justification. BLP help

• Hello, I noticed on my watchlist that you had Claire Jowitt restored to you for sourcing, and saw you do good work on academic BLPs, so I wanted to mention the existence of the Wikipedia:Unreferenced BLP Rescue Project to you. We are working to eliminate unreferenced BLPs on wikipedia, going thru one month of tagged articles at a time. We aren't necessarily subject matter experts though, we are just trying to improve articles that have been without references or attention for 2+ years in many cases, and this does lead to deletion nominations when we can't find sources. The more eyes we have helping us, the better. Perhaps if you swing by you can check out the current month we are working on, June 2008, to see if there are any academics that interest you. People on our project have varying views regarding inclusion/deletion (I am big inclusionist myself, but my expertise is not in sourcing academics), but we all want to see BLPs get sourced whenever they can. Re your comment concerning CJ at mine, I know you're right about notability as far as reinstatement is concerned, and I'm sure Hon Sec of Society for Renaissance Studies will be authoritatively deemed equivalent to bingo-calling at a day centre, but as a general user of Wikipedia articles I just like a bit of illustrative material as well. I never cease to be amazed how determined some people at Wikipedia are not to allow knowledge to be made available to people who are looking for it. Why not allow a redirect to a User Page? Why do Pikachu characters appear to need less supporting evidence of notability than academics who apparent fellow-academics snoot at as "run-of-the-mill"?
