Peanut butter
You are an experienced editor, but this edit was careless and lazy for how you formatted the sources. I don't understand the motivation for such behavior. In the upper left of the editing box is a dropdown menu where you can choose a template and easily enter information. Please take a moment to insert the right details, so I and other editors don't have to clean up after you. --Zefr (talk) 14:50, 8 May 2017 (UTC)

Garage rock article
Thanks for your interest in the Garage rock article--I appreciate your improvements there. I especially appreciate your help in the Female garage bands section. Unbeknownst to many, the 1960s was the golden age of all-female rock bands. There were more than most could ever realize.[1][2] Here's one of my favorites by the Mod VI [3] I'd like to expand the section and add a few more bands, high-level sources permitting. Once again, thanks for your interest and help. Garagepunk66 (talk) 03:07, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hey thanks for the interest in women bands and women in music. Thanks also for the link. Great article! I will figure out which groups qualify as garage band. Very interesting article (Garage band), given that the definition has changed over the decades. Will get to work : )OnBeyondZebrax • TALK 23:12, 24 May 2017 (UTC)

- I was trying to say that the only photo of a woman I found on Nu metal was Evanescence's pic (showing her singing). Good point that Evanescence as a band mostly male. I added a photo of Kittie. Cultural Policy
I was quite impressed by the changes you made in the article on cultural policy. Did you use any other sources than the ones you mentioned? Especially the section on Theoretical approaches (e. g. Populism) was very helpful for me. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.187.184.163 (talk) 20:30, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the compliment, but I was only one of a number of contributors. Previous editors wrote all that great stuff about populism vs. elitism. Yeah, I thought it was a great point too. I can see the merits of both sides. The government should enable people to hear the best popular music, popular art. But I also see the argument that the government should support the "older" arts (ballet, classical music, etc.).OnBeyondZebrax • TALK 01:30, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

2017 Military Historian of the Year and Newcomer of the Year nominations and voting
As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: the Military Historian of the Year and the Military History Newcomer of the Year. Nominations for both awards are open between 00:01 on 2 December 2017 and 23:59 on 15 December 2017. After this, a 14-day voting period will follow commencing at 00:01 on 16 December 2017. - Hi, thanks for your comments. WP:SCHOLARSHIP says that "Completed dissertations or theses written as part of the requirements for a PhD, and which are publicly available (most via interlibrary loan or from Proquest), can be used but care should be exercised, as they are often, in part, primary sources. Some of them will have gone through a process of academic peer reviewing, of varying levels of rigor, but some will not. If possible, use theses that have been cited in the literature; supervised by recognized specialists in the field; or reviewed by third parties." Care should be taken in using completed PhD dissertations.OnBeyondZebrax • TALK 16:17, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- No one said the source can't be used. It's simply insufficient to establish notability. See WP:GNG. There has to be multiple instances of non-trivial coverage in reliable, independent sources. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ< 18:08, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

Help improving Kinder Surprise
Hi there OnBeyondZebrax, I spotted your name in the members list at WP:FOOD and hoped you might be interested in helping out on an article I'm trying to improve: Kinder Surprise. Right now, the best developed section is Safety issues, while the Description etc are quite poorly written and sourced. On behalf of Ferrero (the maker of the Kinder chocolate line), via their communications agency The Glover Park Group and as part of my work with Beutler Ink, I've drafted up new material for the article using independent sourcing and I'm looking for editors like yourself to review and take the drafted material live, if it looks good. Since it sounded from your note at WP:Food and drink that you might be interested in candy-related articles, I was hoping you may like to take a look at my request? April 2018 Milhist Backlog Drive
G'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- adding or improving listed resources on Milhist's task force pages
- updating the open tasks template on Milhist's task force pages
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.

Bowls as storage containers for CDs and DVDs
I had a question for you about this edit. You helpfully added that bowls could be used as storage containers for non-food objects, but I found your example of using large bowls for holding CDs or DVDs puzzling. Is this common practice? Wouldn't the disks get dusty or scratched if they sit in an open-topped container like that for any length of time? I considered changing the page but wanted to confirm if this is simply a common practice of which I'm ignorant. Archaealex (talk) 20:14, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

The article Jean-Maurice Mourat has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. SSSB (talk) 18:52, 22 April 2019 (UTC)

Hello, OnBeyondZebrax, I saw that you made a draft for a new article at User:OnBeyondZebrax/sandbox/Swiss literature. Short term hosting of potentially valid articles and other reasonable content under development or in active use is usually acceptable. But in this case, you haven't edited your draft for a long time. If you wish to improve the draft yourself, please do. Kapsberger?
Hello, thanks for your improvements to the Theorbo article! I have noticed, though, that you made confusion in the description of a picture you added: the painter is Antiveduto Grammatica, not "Giovanni Girolamo" (which is Kapsberger's Italian name); besides, could you please give any source confirming that the pictured person is indeed Johannes Hieronymus Kapsberger? Grammatica gave the painting just a generic title, "Il suonatore di tiorba" (The Theorbo Player). Thanks for any clarification, —capmo (talk) 03:27, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Muffin top (disambiguation)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Muffin top (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic). Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Jalen D.
