vandal?
did you just accuse me of vandalizing? I take that seriously and you should remove it and talk me about reverting my edit. It's disrespectful knee jerk and I resent it. You simply brushed aside 3 hours of my work. Please respond quickly so we don't get into an edit war he said she said. This article should have the same standards as all others. I put a lot of effort into research my edit. Where is the proper source for "he took a prescription medication"? Did you even read what I wrote here. The links are bad the information in them is incorrectly entered and you just put it all back. How about you do some work here and tell me what part of this you think I got wrong. Yes I did, and I wrote in detail why I did. References that are not linked and use misrepresented text are not excuses for leaving serious accusations on someone's BLP. I notice you're not arguing any of the problems I pointed out with those sources. Read what I won't again and respond to what I wrote. If you wanna argue my points argue my points, but you can't justify a vandalism tag based on what you've written here. Reputable editors do not allow people to add disputable content to a BLP, and invent text in the citation that does not exist on the source page. Again I'm offended at the vandalism charge. deleting a section with no justification would be vandalism. I spent 3 hours writing justifications. That is not vandalism. I don't know how you go about removing that tag from the edit what I want you to do so. False "Threatening"
Goodevening, I don't know if I should address to you, but I didn't found a "Report User" page. Before a while, the user User:Sportsfan 1234 let me a message in my talk page that says that I made disruptive edits to the 2016 Summer Olympics page and if I continue, I will be blocked. In fact, the only thing I did to that page is to change the number of athletes to 17,076, as the Rio 2016 official site (http://www.rio2016.com) writes. What should I do? - There has never been more than 11,000 athletes at the Summer Olympics, so the 17,076 seemed like a made up number (I cannot find it on the website either). Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 18:50, 3 August 2016 (UTC)

BLP and bands

- {{BLP unsourced section}} is meant for BLPs (Biographies of Living People) only, not related articles. BLP policy apples to all articles including bands. Dear Racklever
I saw you have tagged the page Arman Arian as biographies of living persons and this tag says:
Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous.
I checked all the references carefully and I found none of them relative to the content they are referring to.
So I removed most of the page contents.
But user Atlantic306 didn't let me do it and reverted everything.
Please take a look at the page and tell me if I can remove the contents that have no reference.
I also tried to find source for the page content both in English and Persian but found nothing.
I think this page should be removed completely.
I am waiting for your reply.

Hi Racklever. You should avoid to use Wikidata in articles. I try and had problems with an hand of users. But you do as you want, the program woks very well in different languages. Death of Jeff Prothero (Cynbe ru Taren)
I believe that the edits you reverted on Cynbe ru Taren that noted his death were made by his wife, who also left a signed comment on Talk:Cynbe ru Taren referring to him in the past tense from the same IP and on the same date.
Anyway, Jeff was a colleague and friend of mine, and I can confirm that he has passed away, although I have no public source I can cite. I left more details on the talk page. Dr.frog (talk) 19:58, 1 February 2017 (UTC)

TX Watch Company
Just curious why you would grade the TX Watch Company article at START when an article like Remontoire gets "C?" The TX article has three times as many sources, has 898 readable text words vs. 736 for Remontoire. Obviously it can't come down to article size, but number of sources and depth of coverage do relate to size. And seriously, many of the other START grade articles have far fewer references and cover their subjects far more briefly.
The TX article probably isn't going to grow very much, given that the company is defunct. Is it even possible for an article like this to achieve anything higher? Is the rating of the article conflated with the IMPORTANCE of the subject of the article? What suggestions do you have to improve the quality? I'm assuming that since you graded the article, you'd have specific reasoning to why it's not C or B.

Waltham Watch Company
Hi, Could you please explain why you undid my edit yesterday? I had corrected one piece of erroneous information (Appleton, Tracy & Co. never made "chronometers"), and I had added an explanation that the movement design AT&Co had inherited from the Boston Watch Co., which AT&Co called the "Model 1857," actually predated 1857 by about three years. Should I assume you know the difference between a "chronometer" and a "chronodrometer?" Your subsequent reference to "railroad chronometers" makes me wonder. (That phrase was watch company advertising hype of a later period, which was effectively devoid of meaning.)
Wiki articles are supposed to be community resources, which are not "owned" by any particular individual. Thus, I expect that when a constructive change is made to an article, and then is explained by the editor, it is respected, and not merely undone without discussion or explanation. I am a Fellow of the NAWCC who has collected, researched and written about early American watches for over 30 years, and there are several other contributions I could make to that wiki. - You have to provide references for changes to an article. This is the number one rule. Someone who is not an expert can read the reference for a more detailed explanation.
- The international definition of a chronometer is any timepiece that passes a series of official tests. This is not to be confused with the detent chronometer escapement which Waltham never made. Reversion on Manitonquat
Please do not use a machete when a scalpel would do. There were two legitimate edits on Manitonquat that were wiped away by your reversion, specifically a correction of the non-existent parameter pen_name to pseudonym, & the inclusion of the {{birth date |1929|07|17|mf=yes}} template.
Also, why you did not simply use a {{citation needed}} template or check to see if there were any citations confirming the death?

- Um, that's an ignoratio elenchi. I am not in contention with requiring WP:V from WP:RS, although placing a {{cn}} or searching for a citation might have been more productive. BLP tag on article talk pages
Since WP:BLP does not only apply to articles about currently living people but all articles where living people are discussed or mentioned, and since WP:BDP specifies that the policy "can extend for an indeterminate period beyond the date of death" (mentioning two years as an outside limit) there is no reason to remove the "blp=yes" tag on talk pages for articles about people who are very recently deceased. Talk:Sara Danius even has a hidden note that specifies this; if you feel that there are exceptionally strong reasons to remove the tag, please start a discussion about that on the relevant talk page, but I don't think it is a good idea to systematically remove blp=yes from talk pages. It looks as if you have been doing that, for various articles about people who died within the last few days or weeks, and I'm not sure why. --bonadea contributions talk 17:23, 18 October 2019 (UTC)
