Speedy deletion nomination of Baggalútur
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Baggalútur, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of https://play.google.com/store/music/artist/Utangar%C3%B0smenn?id=Aoq2hsbxum5lfn5kokwapyjpoc4&hl=en. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, Werldwayd. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. I'm sorry, but Baggalútur has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G11. "This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to conform with Wikipedia:NOTFORPROMOTION." These must be rewritten from scratch from "reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject." See WP:RS.
Wikipedia:Identifying blatant advertising#Typical signs of blatant advertising contains information about content to avoid. For more information on content that may be perceived as promotional, click User:Dlohcierekim/promo. These are just rough guides. Pages can avoid all those pitfalls and still be glaringly obvious ad copy. Sometimes pages meeting WP:CSD#G11 give the appearance of an editor violating Wikipedia:Conflict of interest or WP:PAID. Please read and heed them if they apply to you. Please read Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources . Template:cite has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{references}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.
If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard or articles for creation to guide you through the creation process. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems.
You may find this tool useful: Google custom search Don't feel discouraged. My first attempts at creating articles were deleted too.

Hello, Werldwayd. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia. I'm sorry, but Baggalútur has been deleted as meeting WP:CSD#G12. Wikipedia is the world's largest free content encyclopedia. As such, it cannot contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content must be completely rewritten and reformatted from scratch. Content published elsewhere copied into Wikipedia must state that it is public domain, licensed under the GFDL, or a creative commons license. Cheers, and happy editing.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Sing-la-la-la-by-Carolina-Marquez.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Sing-la-la-la-by-Carolina-Marquez.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Andrew Stoker
Hello, Werldwayd,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Andrew Stoker should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Andrew Stoker .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,

Notice of discretionary sanctions
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Adding unsourced content to an article about a living person
You added unsourced content about Patrick Bet-David's heritage in these diffs. Please see the note below.
Hello, I'm Jytdog. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:05, 26 September 2018 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Just-us-boyz-logo.gif
Thanks for uploading File:Just-us-boyz-logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:29, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Orascom Technology Solutions
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Orascom Technology Solutions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. The article Jongnic Bontemps has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Doesn't meet WP:MUSICBIO or WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Boleyn (talk) 12:51, 9 October 2018 (UTC)

Apostolic Church (Czechoslovakia) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Apostolic Church (Czechoslovakia), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia).
I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Updates
Hello Werldwayd,
I have updated many new sources with an article you are very familiar with, Alex Gilbert. The subject is due to go to Russia very soon to take gifts and supplies to his old orphanage. See here [1] and from an press release [2]. I have not added this source as I believe this is a self published article from the I'm Adopted organisation. If there is anything you can do with the article. Clean up or expansion, feel free to have a look. He also recently wrote a note about his birth mother that you might be interested in reading but as this is self published on his verified social media, I have not referenced any of it. See here [3] and [4]. Thank you for your help on this article from the beginning! --TheDomain (talk) 08:47, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- I took a look at the references. It's good that you have used the NZ Herald article and it is now reflected in the article. About the other links, I hardly found anything that can be quoted actually and its basically from announcements, Instagram and personal blogs which are not usable. Of course when there are reports in media about his actual visit for donations to the orphanage even in Russian, we could use them. By the way, I am very much fascinated with all aspects of this fine young man and all his projects. Truly remarkable. Plus would be glad for contributing further for his article after it was turned down for so many times earlier.werldwayd (talk) 18:56, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- I agree with everything that you have said. Thank you for your contributions. It has come a long way! werldwayd! --TheDomain (talk) 08:52, 5 November 2018 (UTC)

See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. New Sources Added
Hello!
I have added this source to Alex Gilbert. [5] Its a great reference, but I am unsure on how I should write information out from this to the article. Let me know your thoughts!
- By the way. There is almost 100 sources on the article. I should clean some up possibly? --TheDomain (talk) 04:45, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
Sharon
If you could figure out what the great "issues" are with the article about Sharon Dyall, it has been tagged. You are more than welcome to try to solve them. I am not getting any information about what the perceived issues are. Anyway, any help is as always appreciated.BabbaQ (talk) 22:03, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
DYK for Sharon Dyall
On 18 December 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sharon Dyall, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that singer-songwriter Sharon Dyall translated the song lyrics from the Disney film Frozen into Swedish? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sharon Dyall. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Sharon Dyall), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Choir Boy
Hello Werldwayd,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Choir Boy for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
