Vataqatal is the Zakharan war god. He wants his followers to grow by testing their strength of body and will and preaches the importance of duty. He is a local god worshipped mainly in the northern parts of the Land of Fate that border on foreign lands.[1]:Adventurer's Guide to Zakhara, 55

Vataqal's symbol is a red-bladed scimitar.[1]:Adventurer's Guide to Zakhara, 49, 53

The Warrior-Slave has been described as muscular, veiled warrior with glowing red eyes who wears robes, battle-worn lamellar armor and a great scimitar. [1]:Adventurer's Guide to Zakhara, 55

He is worshipped by warriors, especially mamluks and farisans who value duty and dedication to one's service.[1]:Adventurer's Guide to Zakhara, 55
