Department of Finance, Haryana is a Ministry and department of the Government of Haryana in India.

Minister

The Cabinet Minister Captain Abhimanyu Singh Sindhu, who has independent charge of highest number of departments (13) which makes is most influential after the Chief Minister, is the current minister of this department from October 2014.[1]

History

This department came into existence when Haryana was established as a new state within India after being separated from Punjab.

Functions of the Department

The department allocates funds to other departments of Government of Haryana.
