This is Wikipedia's page for requesting articles about companies, businesses, and organizations. If you want to request a new article, this is the right place to start. Remember, this is the ENGLISH Wikipedia. If the subject requested mainly operates outside of an English speaking country, you may have a better chance to have the article created in the subject's home country's language. If the article already exists on another language Wikipedia, do not post requests here, but rather request for a translation.

Please remember, Wikipedia is not a place for advertisements. Blatant advertisements and copyright infringement are candidates for speedy deletion.

BEWARE ADVERTISERS AND SPAMMERS: Even though Wikipedia advocates a neutral point of view, it is highly likely that an article will be created on Wikipedia with NEGATIVE effects against your advertising efforts. Don't be disappointed when you return and find out that contributors have uncovered controversial issues about your business or organization. Before requesting an article, it is strongly recommended that you:

  • Check whether the business/organization would be considered notable as per Wikipedia's guidelines (WP:CORP - in short, a business or organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources).
  • Check whether an article already exists for the business/organization by entering its name in the search box. Be sure to try all potential name variations and double-check your spelling and capitalization.
  • Check the archive for this page to see if a request was previously made & rejected
  • Consider if you can start a stub article yourself (although if you have a close association with the subject of the article, be sure to review WP:COI and WP:BFAQ first)

If you want to do more than just request an article and would like to discuss and plan its creation go to the drawing board.

Note that it currently can take a long time for requests to be reviewed & articles created. You can help reduce that time by providing links to information from reliable sources that could be used to create the article. Except, it is recommended AGAINST to link to your corporate site as it is not a secondary source of information.
