Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied, restored as a draft or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.
This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page. Please do not request that articles deleted under speedy deletion criteria A7, G5 or G11 be undeleted here.
Note that requests for undeletion are not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here.
- Instructions for special cases
- G13. Abandoned Articles for creation submissions – see Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion/G13 for instructions.
To contest deletions that have have already been discussed (in particular, at Articles for deletion), or that are likely to be controversial, please make a request at Wikipedia:Deletion review instead. |

Deleted about 48 hours after PROD tag. I was counting on the standard 7 days. I intended to contest the deletion and remove the PROD tag after gathering some additional references over the weekend. —Matt Fitzpatrick (talk) 06:11, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry, I think I phrased that unclearly. I intended to contest and do contest this PROD. I delayed removing the PROD tag only to do so concurrently with checking references I'd already found and editing them in, hoping to avoid going straight to AfD over WP:ONEEVENT. Matt Fitzpatrick (talk) 19:23, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- I have deleted this under A7 due to lack of a claim of importance. The text also looked as if it was a criticism of the subject. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:27, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Credihealth
CSD A7 states "The criterion does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance." But the article claims with reliable sources: Credihealth "launched an around-the-clock ambulance request service in Gurgaon, the first of it's kind in India where ambulatory medical care is unreliable." yahoo article, https://www.yahoo.com/news/credihealth-introduces-24-hour-ambulance-083214069.html.

Credihealth is one the oldest healthcare player in India, It has 1000's of doctors on his platform. You can check some of doctors under Credihealth on Wikipedia, Ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&limit=100&offset=0&profile=default&search=Credihealth&searchToken=ekv0xd29ktg0jx5wahxdw1qyf
I would request you to please recheck the article and un-delete it. Also would like to please have a full discussion about this article. — — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kahonaakaho (talk • contribs) 01:46, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- This is an unconfessed paid advertisement motivated by the company, as shown at Draft:Credihealth, which is currently nominated as such, and also the article being deleted for the same criteria: Self-advertising. The sources above, with easy examination, show clear labels showing the company as the author, including using their own company-hosted words. Wikipedia is not the place to advertise and that's exactly why, so restarting or resubmitting is not an alternative. As a precaution, I gave the user one final warning to cease self-advertising earlier today and, as for the full discussion, they are aware of the MfD linked above; the Yahoo! link itself is a labeled press release, and this wouldn't satisfy our simplest standards. SwisterTwister talk 03:38, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is open source platform with lakhs of information being shared every day with lakhs of people. Firstly I am not at all associated with Credihealth or any such company, Kindly verify the edits going on from my iP as compare to Company IP if you have any. Secondly, If you verify other References available on Deleted page they are referring Geniune News from popular Indian media. I accept That ambulance part has missing proper Ref. but scope of improvement is there, If you will please allow me to do so. Thirdly and most importantly, I am not paid anything by anyone. I just copied draft from Draft:Credihealth Modified some data and then published it. Please let me know what part of article you find advertising, I will Improve that part from my end. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kahonaakaho (talk • contribs) 04:21, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- Not done - this page was deleted in accordance with criterion for speedy deletion A7. If you believe that this decision was made in error, or that significant new information has come to light since the deletion, please contact the administrator who carried out the deletion, user RickinBaltimore (talk · contribs). If you have already done so, your concerns can be taken to deletion review.
- I don't see being the first ambulance service in a town as a credible claim of significance either. It may be significant to that locality, but every city has an ambulance service that could claim to be "first" in that city, and we don't write articles about each of them just because of that. ~Anachronist (talk) 06:59, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- Anachronist: It is first one in whole India, which is seventh largest country in world. So this is significant to a country.--Eliteal1122 (talk) 08:23, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

Jonathan Grado
A few years back I ended up investing more time than expected into this article after reading an interview with Jonathan Grado in Esquire Magazine. I thought I'd be writing more articles, but life happens and I ended up with one article I'm proud of. I recently saw the subject of this page on a tv show and thought I'd check on the article, only to find it was deleted. I'm not too sure why it was deleted, but with all the credible sources I had gathered from film and print (WIRED magazine, New York Times, TechCrunch from what I remember) I don't really see why this was removed. Some Googling brought me to a recent commercial American Express had featured him in as well. I'd be happy to update sources if need be. —Jennifer.roselyn (talk) 18:01, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Jennifer.roselyn: It looks like part of the PROD rationale was that it was promotional sounding, so I'm going to transfer this to your userspace for you to work on. It's likely the quotes, since those are used pretty frequently. You can find this at User:Jennifer.roselyn/Jonathan Grado. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 21:48, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
File:WSP Square Logo Trademarked (4) (1).png
I am new to Wikipedia and was unsure of what to put under "non-free content criteria". Now that I have become better acquainted, I wish to submit this photo under the justification that it meets all 10 Wikipedia requirements for usage, and in adding the tag {{Non-free logo}}
to the photo itself. As this is the official logo for the organization for which I am editing a page, there is no free equivalent. Its usage will not infringe on the intended commercial opportunities for it. The photo will only be used once, in finalizing and publishing Draft:Warrior-Scholar Project, and has been published multiple times both on the Warrior-Scholar Project webpage, and in various news articles. Should the image be restored, I will personally edit the description page in order to reflect a better understanding of the non-free use rationale, with all necessary information provided. —96.95.24.97 (talk) 20:06, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- One of the non free content rules says that non free media can only be used on articles. So it cannot be used on a draft. When the page becomes an article you are welcome to have this restored. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:48, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- Secondly the user name that uploaded the logo was "Wspsocial2017". User names here must represent individuals and not organisations. You could be "person from WSP" instead. If you register and you are paid by WSP take a read of WP:Paid editing. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:53, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Draft:Khojaly Massacre recognition
I will place some information from that deleted article here —Interfase (talk) 06:59, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
- Not done - this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Khojaly Massacre recognition (2nd nomination), it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Sandstein (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. I am assuming you meant Khojaly Massacre recognition as there does not appear to be a draft:Khojaly anything around. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:44, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- Graeme Bartlett, Sandstein referred them here so I think that he's OK with sending this to userspace - it's just not something he personally does. I've pinged him to see what he thinks. I would argue that the Khojaly massacre memorials page could probably be merged into the main article as well and edited down for brevity, perhaps just a list of each country that has a memorial, with the only exceptions being where the memorial is especially controversial or noteworthy - ie, where the memorial itself would possibly warrant its own page or where the coverage is very, very extensive and goes beyond stories about it being built and notifications of opening ceremonies and such. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 15:38, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- However I've pinged him here just to make sure that this is what he meant by sending them here. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 15:39, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- That's right. Thanks for the ping. Sandstein 15:47, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

- This looks like it was deleted twice per user request and at one point was moved to User:Janweh64/Nicholas Wooldridge as per a request by its creator, Janweh64. There is a little bit of article history that wasn't included in the move, so I've merged that with the other article in case Janweh could use it. Since it is in another users's userspace I'd recommend checking in with Janweh64 before making any edits just to see what his plans are. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:17, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

- Not done This was deleted at AfD in March of last year by Drmies and was taken to deletion review a few days after that, where RoySmith closed it as no consensus. I've tagged both of them to this request, but the general gist is that this isn't something that can be restored through REFUND and you'd almost certainly have to go through deletion review if you want to argue that the article should have been kept. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:09, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- I have no particular opinion on whether this should be restored, other than to agree with Tokyogirl79 that this is the wrong forum, for the reasons stated. WP:REFUND is for pages [...] that were uncontroversially deleted, and this is clearly not that. -- RoySmith (talk)

This article was recreated after previous deletions. Can anyone please undelete the deleted revisions of this article? —GeoffreyT2000 (talk, contribs) 02:21, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- This looks like a ripe candidate for deletion to me in spite of three AFDs. I see no evidence of meeting WP:NACTOR criteria for inclusion, and I'm surprised the point was neither made nor refuted in the AFD discussions. Being "mentioned" in sources doesn't confer notability, and neither does routine coverage. I have no objection to restoring the history, but the deletion of this should have way more intelligent, policy-grounded discussion than has happened yet. ~Anachronist (talk) 03:40, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

Please visit https://www.google.com/search?q=bandicam%20wikipedia I have no idea why I can't find the Bandicam page on en.wikipedia.org. Someone must have made a mistake. - Done It was deleted via WP:PROD, so it can be restored here. As far as it existing on other foreign language Wikipedias, be careful since notability guidelines can differ greatly depending on the guidelines for that particular language and the English WP tends to be the most strict of the group. Sworn In (band) 'a newer band has deleted our page but we were there in 2002 and are reforming, please reinstate'
Because a band that came several years after ours has decided to delete out page that was up for many years on Wikipedia. and then click the "Save page" button below —Storieshollywood (talk) 16:34, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) There do not appear to have been previous incarnations of Sworn In (band) prior to its creation in 2014, but Sworn in (band) existed and was A7 speedy deleted in 2010. (The apparent creator of the latter article appears to have no other undeleted edits.) Sworn In was created as a redirect to Oath in 2015, after a previous article with that title was A7 speedy deleted in 2007. Not being an admin, I have no access to the deleted content to see if either of the deleted articles referred to the earlier band mentioned above. --Finngall talk 20:09, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- The deleted article is unrelated. The existing Sworn In (band) and Sworn in have no deleted contributions. The lead sentence of the deleted Sworn in (band) starts out "Formed in early 2001 members included Del Jae, Buddy Hell, Steve Meader and Alex and Matt Smith and were known for their abrasive live shows and certain members for their distinct fashion sense." The article has zero sources. The article claims the band released one EP under two different reasonably-notable indie labels, Bridge 9 Records and Reflections Records. If it were restored, it would be deleted again because WP:BAND requires two albums released under a notable label. Therefore, this request is Declined (and it is ineligible for restoration anyway due to being deleted as WP:A7).
- @Storieshollywood: I suggest you start over in draft space, say Draft:Sworn In (punk band) or something similar, then submit it for review via Wikipedia:Articles for creation. You must do it this way because you have a conflict of interest. And be mindful that the article won't be accepted unless it meets the guidelines in Wikipedia:Golden rule as well as criteria in WP:BAND. ~Anachronist (talk) 20:35, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Storieshollywood: I've changed the Sworn In links on the record label pages above to point to Sworn In (punk band). If an article on your band makes it to main article space under a different title, please be sure to update those other links accordingly. --Finngall talk 21:53, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

Everything I said is true.
It doesn't matter if it is about myself - I used a completely neutral point of view.
Like I said previous, I have read numerous articles about surfing in India where my projects in the Andaman Islands, Andhra Pradesh and Diu Island were completely uncredited - very annoying.
Even MORE annoying is when people take credit for things I have done - ?
Isn't that what an encyclopedia is for? To be a reference of FACTS?
That's is exactly what I am doing - stating FACTS.
Restore the deleted material from "Surfing in India" immediately, please -
I am not doing anything wrong - I did read the guidelines. Read what I wrote and posted - before you automatically delete it.
Thank You

- JohnSeatonCallahan the page has not been deleted. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 16:00, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Dodger67: I believe JohnSeatonCallahan is complaining that his edits got deleted. This was a blatant violation of Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, so it was correct to delete the material, regardless of how factual it was. John, an encyclopedia's purpose isn't to be a reference of facts. See WP:INDISCRIMINATE for guidance on this. There are many facts available, but not all of them are encyclopedic; that is, not all facts are suitable for inclusion in an encyclopedia. Furthermore, because you have a conflict of interest, you should propose your contribution on the talk page rather than attempt to add it yourself. Continued attempts at self-promotion will result in your account being blocked. Also read WP:BURDEN. If something you want to add is removed, the burden is on you to gain support for your addition on the article's talk page. ~Anachronist (talk) 20:09, 12 March 2017 (UTC)

I'm wondering if this was an inadvertent slip of an automated tool, since there isn't really a precedent for long-standing articles to be deleted suddenly without community review. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:54, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- I have just restored Timeline of Facebook at this point, and we can ask JzG to reverse the other deletions. Checking the content of the articles, they do not appear to be promoting these platforms. Deletion also looks to be controversial for these timeline pages. It started with the deletion of Timeline of GitHub and then a bunch were deleted in two minutes. Timeline of Monsanto was deleted at 13:15. And it looks as if Twinkle was the tool doing the deletes. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:05, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, why not. It's not as if someone paid for these advertorial timelines to be created in order to boost their SEO or anything. Wait! That is EXACTLY what happened! I am mystified by our current determination to give spammers what they want. Guy (Help!) 11:52, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- @JzG: so this was deliberate, and not accidental? Since when do we delete long-standing articles that have contributions from established editors without proper review? AFD would have been the better venue. If you objected to Riceissa's recent changes, you could have just reverted them. ~Anachronist (talk) 22:47, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- I have a problem with characterising someone a a long established editor when they are part of a paid editing pyramid scheme. The fact that they got away with it for a long time does not make them anything other than a spammer. I admire your good faith, but I am afraid it is misplaced. Guy (Help!) 07:53, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose Why on earth would anyone consider restoring these articles? Even if you assume good faith, Riceissa has somehow forgotten to mention that they were PAID to create these articles. Exemplo347 (talk) 22:37, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- Riceissa didn't create them. ~Anachronist (talk) 22:47, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

There are many good resources on the web about this programming language that could be made into an article. Since this page has been created before, I'd like to have it restored so I can build upon what was originally there before it got deleted. —<<< SOME GADGET GEEK >>> (talk) 17:59, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

Second Day after Good Friday
Invalid deletion: Easter is the second day after good friday —73.1.57.180 (talk) 23:38, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
- Not done It is, however the deletion rationale ("Recently created, implausible redirect") also addresses whether or not someone is likely to use that term as a redirect. To be very honest, I don't really think that it's a common enough search term to warrant a redirect. Most people looking for content on Easter will just go to the article itself rather than search with this term. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:44, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- I'll ping Discospinster to see if they'd be willing to restore it, but offhand I don't see that there's any true value in doing so. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:46, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
- A Google search for "second day after good friday" brings up 41 unique results, so I doubt it would be a common enough search term to be a useful redirect. ... discospinster talk 12:26, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
