It appears that Legacypac narcissism does not like for anyone to mention his behavior. This is ironic because his narcissism drives him to dictate what other should do or say.Ghgreen (talk) 01:06, 26 December 2018 (UTC)

Kimetsu no Yaiba reception section

I made the following edit on the Reception section from the Kimetsu no Yaiba Page.

"According to an advertisement placed by Shueisha in Shinjuku Station, the first five volumes had printed 1 million copies as of May 2017. [2]. The first seven volumes had 1.5 million copies in print as of August 2017."

And it had these 2 Twitter links as sources. https://twitter.com/kimetsu_off/status/861471980519694336 https://twitter.com/kimetsu_off/status/892976710190112768

Proof this is an official Twitter account.

https://twitter.com/SHUEISHA_PR/following

As the description of the SHUEISHA_PR account indicates, this account only retweets things from official Shueisha property related accounts. Also, all the accounts this official Shueisha twitter follows are official accounts for various Shueisha properties. If you look at the top zone, you will find @kimetsu_off and you can even find retweeted tweets from the kimetsu_off account. Hopefully this is enough proof to convince you that the sales information is 100% legit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.114.139.180 (talk) 15:28, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit: Hi, I saw that you still kept that review in on the page, but I truly think it is pointless, I mean, who posts reviews of singular chapters of a manga on Wikipedia? At least wait for the first volume to get released(in English), that will be in 2018 most likely, more reviews will pop up then surely. Only the first 3 chapters have officially been translated when the manga launched over a year ago and I believe it truly is pointless to point out a review of 1 singular chapter when the series currently has 7 volumes and 71 chapters. It's kind of weird in my opinion. Thanks for your patience.

New Edit: Also, you could allow the print numbers for the first 5 volumes as well since it shows the quick progress the series had, going from 700k to 1.5 million volumes in print in the span of 2 months.

I just wants you to know what I did. I think you made a mistake so I switched it I hope that's ok — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.242.67.118 (talk) 07:08, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits at Hurricane Harvey

Notice that your repeated edits in regards to climate change can be considered disruptive (unresponsive at your own talk page section, adding uncalled notifications, adding weasel - misleading language into content). This can eventually mean that we have to take this to admin boards and eventually to ARB. prokaryotes (talk) 15:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Demonizer Zilch, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kadokawa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reactions to... cont.

Would the outcomes of AFDs be useful for a potential discussion of "Reactions to..." articles? On this list I have watchlisted there are two nominations most likely heading toward deletion and I have noticed a small trend as of late to delete these articles. I would rather not nominate similar articles one by one. And unless we we achieve world peace soon, newer ones will surely appear. Do you believe a discussion will attract attention? By the way, your voice of logic at AFD is sorely missed and I hope to see your name a little more often again!TheGracefulSlick (talk) 02:54, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@TheGracefulSlick: Thank you for your kind words =). I would propose that "reactions to..." articles always must first be placed into draft format only. The problem is trying to figure out if the event is going to or has had a huge impact or not. Take Reactions to the September 11 attacks for example, the reactions in many cases changed the world on how we now live. This one isn't easy but making it mandatory that these articles cant reach main-space without consensus seems the right way to go. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 03:07, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ANI Experiences survey

Beginning on November 28, 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) will be conducting a survey to en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with.

The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. The privacy policy for the survey describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants and can be found here:

If you would like to take this survey, please sign up on this page, and a link for the survey will be mailed to you via Special:Emailuser.

Animelo Set List

Hi there,

I appreciate your edits to keep pages up to date... However, is there any way you could keep the Set Lists intact for the Animelo page that removed back on the 11th Nov? (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animelo_Summer_Live)

I relied on it heavily to determine which performers had a performance/song on particular days, including which Anime/Game/etc the song was originally from - the official site doesn't have the song origin.

If you could reinstate this section or make it collapsible to save space, I would appreciate it. Thanks. Goldfire86 (talk) 02:13, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Goldfire86: I will see what I can do tomorrow, I do not want to re-include sets that can't be verified as being true. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 02:22, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Knowledgekid87: That's understandable. Sounds good if you could look at it. How would one go about verifying the sets? Even though I'm a nobody on Wikipedia... If it helps, I've watched all of the Animelo releases from the start and used the Wiki page set lists as a guide. They are accurate/true. I'll leave it in your capable hands. Goldfire86 (talk) 02:34, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I also used the list of songs as an library, since it was very easy to find to songs that matched the year, If you can not fix that is not broken please, that be awesome. -signed the internet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OverHereAndHere (talkcontribs) 18:20, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

yc"If you want to confirm the set list, u can check it here at the official website "http://anisama.tv/2017/special/setlist.php" and the set list is real. I also rely on the setlist for easier viewing throughout the years so i hope you can edit it back in."

I was devastated to see the set list removed (even though I know that it can be retrieved), and am only now responding as I have a few days off when I am not in Japan with time to respond carefully.

Goldfire86 expressed it very well and the entire Animelo Summer Live set lists being on a single page makes for speedy searching within a browser.

As far as verification goes, I attended in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 (all "Summer Live" concerts of those years), purchased the programmes for those years, and the book "Animelo Summer Live Perfect Book: Bridge to ReBridge" and have the DVD's from 2006 and 2007, and blu-rays from 2011-2016 inclusive apart from the Animelo Super Game Song live. Actual songs are listed at the anisama.tv site (minus some introductory music, which can be verified from the DVD's/blu-rays). The value of the combined set lists is that there is a wealth of cross-referencing.

The removal also took away the work of lots of people including myself who prefer to edit anonymously, as characterised by the post above that was unsigned.

There was no discussion on the talk page for Animelo Summer Live about the removal of the set lists before or after it happened either.

It would be better to restore the setlists and flag which sections need verification (e.g. where information from anisama.tv is lacking) rather than have to rebuild them from scratch.

Splouge (talk) 09:30, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Almost 3 months and an afternoon of editing and verifying sources later I have restored the setlists for Animelo Summer Live and spinoff events. The later part of the 2017 setlist could do with linkifying references to the source anime of the songs.

Happy Holidays
From Stave one of Dickens A Christmas Carol

Old Marley was as dead as a door-nail. Mind! I don’t mean to say that I know, of my own knowledge, what there is particularly dead about a door-nail. I might have been inclined, myself, to regard a coffin-nail as the deadest piece of ironmongery in the trade. But the wisdom of our ancestors is in the simile; and my unhallowed hands shall not disturb it, or the Country’s done for. You will therefore permit me to repeat, emphatically, that Marley was as dead as a door-nail.

Could you please add my reply to AN/I: Poland article - planned POV attack

I'm really sorry to bother you, I sent this to User_talk:Beeblebrox, but it looks like he/she is not online:

Of course blaming the Poles for Auschwitz is an awful, despicable thing to do, and I'd revert the Nazi apologist and submit the case to whatever board is appropriate. I agree, such edits are serious incidents, there's no doubt about it. However, the OP in this case mentions such an edit (singular) as something that happened on another Poland-related article, made by some other editor. That made them uncomfortable and on the look-out for more vandalism (fully understood, such vile things should not happen on WP). However, the edit that this AN/I is about is something different: Should it be mentioned that Poland is the largest EU net beneficiary or not? That's what I meant by content dispute. ‎List of The Powerpuff Girls episodes

An easier way to revert to an earlier state of an article is to go to the history, click the date, which will take you the old revision of the article, edit that old revision and save. No need to undo every individual edit, that clogs the history and unnecessarily sends too many revert notifications. Or use WP:TWINKLE. So, no, you don't need to get to the earlier edits to undo. -- AlexTW 20:03, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I thought you might be interested in this...

I've been learning JavaScript so that I can automate things on Wikipedia. Though automating page construction is way down the road. In the meantime, while I'm learning, I've been building semi-automated (interactive) software tools.

One I've recently created is SearchSuite.

It enhances search results and makes copying/pasting results to lists (including outlines) from search results much easier.

It's also good as a general navigation aid, as it can reformat search results to 1 item per line, stripping out all details. Great for browsing lots of topics fast.

It can also sort.

Each feature is presented as a menu item to turn it on and off. And the script remembers the switch positions between pages.

I hope you find it useful. All feedback is welcome.     — The Transhumanist    06:31, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to WikiProject Portals

The Portals WikiProject has been rebooted.

You are invited to join, and participate in the effort to revitalize and improve the Portal system and all the portals in it.

There are sections on the WikiProject page dedicated to tasks (including WikiGnome tasks too), and areas on the talk page for discussing the improvement and automation of the various features of portals.

Many complaints have been lodged in the RfC to delete all portals, pointing out their various problems. They say that many portals are not maintained, or have fallen out of date, are useless, etc. Many of the !votes indicate that the editors who posted them simply don't believe in the potential of portals anymore.

It's time to change all that. Let's give them reasons to believe in portals, by revitalizing them.

The best response to a deletion nomination is to fix the page that was nominated. The further underway the effort is to improve portals by the time the RfC has run its course, the more of the reasons against portals will no longer apply. RfCs typically run 30 days. There are 19 days left in this one. Let's see how many portals we can update and improve before the RfC is closed, and beyond.

A healthy WikiProject dedicated to supporting and maintaining portals may be the strongest argument of all not to delete.

We may even surprise ourselves and exceed all expectations. Who knows what we will be able to accomplish in what may become the biggest Wikicollaboration in years.

Let's do this.

See ya at the WikiProject!

Sincerely,    — The Transhumanist   10:22, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits at Ocean liner

Hello, I just noticed that you have restructured the history section of the article Ocean liner and removed many images. Just so you know, the big expansion of the article that I did was done by translating from the French Wikipedia's article. So, the word choices (such as those of the headers and ″golden age″) are translation of the words in the French article. Also, before your removal of the headings, the paragraphs under each heading were not short, and they are paragraphs, not single sentences. One can include sufficient number of illustrative images if one has those headings.

By writing the above, I am not trying to own the article or anything like that.

VarunSoon (talk) 06:43, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@VarunSoon: Thank you for translating the French Wiki article but the headers were just screaming of WP:PEACOCK language. Take phrases such as the "golden age" or "Famous and infamous", this is according to whom for example? I don't know who the article got to FA on the French Wikipedia but the wording is just terrible in my opinion. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 13:33, 22 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Would the following changes be okay (it is okay for me)?
 • The birth of grand companies (1838 - 1845)The founding of shipping companies (1838 - 1845)
 • The first golden age (1897 - 1914)Early 20th century (1897 - 1914)
 • Interwar period: the second golden age and crisisInterwar period
The new British giants seems okay to me, since the word giant only refers to the fact that those liners were the largest in the world at the time they entered service and does not have any positive connotation. I am in favor of restoring some, if not all, of the removed headings (and the images).
VarunSoon (talk) 05:14, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@VarunSoon: No as it gives praising labels such as "grand", and "golden", this is by whose standards? The concern I have is with WP:NPOV namely WP:STRUCTURE where it says "Pay attention to headers, footnotes, or other formatting elements that might unduly favor one point of view, and watch out for structural or stylistic aspects that make it difficult for a reader to fairly and equally assess the credibility of all relevant and related viewpoints." - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 13:17, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Let me clarifies: there is an arrow between the two versions of each heading above. The version on the left is the original, POV heading. The version on the right is the one that I want the heading to change to. VarunSoon (talk) 03:58, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I added the $200 bill to the Counterfeit United States currency, where it fits better, if that works for you. If not, would you suggest a consensus? --Aang Le (talk) 00:27, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Its fine, no worries! - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 00:33, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Village pump revert

Was it really necessary of you to revert the edit I was making while you closed the bias discussion? And if it was, why didn't you revert the other edit that was also after your close? It's not like it even give me an edit conflict notice.

It seems to me that the "don't make changes" notice should apply after it's posted, not before. Newimpartial (talk) 00:17, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't catch both as why, once a discussion is closed its usually closed. The topic was drifting into rights versus wrongs rather than Wikipedia policy. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 02:24, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well I think it would be courteous to leave all edits that were underway when you started to close; it is certainly inconsistent to revert just mine.
And on the merits, I think my contribution was thoughtful and relatively uninvolved, so I'm fairly miffed that you reverted it. I'd appreciate a self-revert. Newimpartial (talk) 03:52, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Link me the other edit and I will revert that one as well, you guys had plenty of time to see that I had closed the discussion. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 04:11, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It was <https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Village_pump_(policy)&diff=846584592&oldid=846584448>. But I don't know why you say we had "plenty of time" - both edits were posted within 10 minutes of your close, and I certainly didn't get an edit conflict message when I did. Newimpartial (talk) 04:18, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Edit reverted. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 04:23, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Patrol?

Hi KK87,

I've recently been looking for editors to invite to join New Page Patrol, and from your editing history, I think you would be a good candidate. Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; we could use some additional help from an experienced user like yourself.

Would you please consider becoming a New Page Reviewer? (After gaining the flag, patrolling is not mandatory. One can do it at their convenience). But kindly read the tutorial before making your decision. If you choose to apply, you can drop an application over at WP:PERM/NPR.

Cheers, and hope to see you around, — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 21:09, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of List of Magical Girl Site characters

Hello Knowledgekid87,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged List of Magical Girl Site characters for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Template:Z166

~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 02:52, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Struck/undone as it looks like the text from Magical Girl Site came first. When splitting out a page or otherwise copying text across from another article, please provide attribution in an initial edit comment. Thanks, ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 03:04, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

1 October shooting

Hi! You made a dab page for 1 October shooting and then moved it to 1 October shooting (disambiguation), which is backwards (the title with “disambiguation” in it should point to the base title).

But that isn’t the only problem. You moved the page even after a move was reverted by Suffusion of Yellow, who said in the edit summary, “High visibility page, please obtain consensus first.”

And after that, it isn’t really a valid disambiguation page, because none of the articles linked refer to “1 October shooting” as another name of the incident. Entries on a dab page must be at least mentioned in the linked article to belong on the page.

Given all this, would you please go to requested moves and ask to have the pages put back the way they were? Thanks. — Gorthian (talk) 04:51, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Gorthian. Some clarification is needed here: The "high visibility page" move I reverted was a move (by a different user) of the longstanding title 2017 Las Vegas shooting to 1 October shooting. I was not suggesting consensus was needed before making changes to, or moving, 1 October shooting itself, which didn't even exist as a redirect before yesterday. Suffusion of Yellow (talk) 05:05, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks for clarifying that. I struck out my comment above. It’s still not a valid dab page, and WP:MALPLACED even if it were. — Gorthian (talk) 05:20, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The last Legends of the Hidden Temple airdate in 1995

I left a message on the Legends of the Hidden Temple talk page and contacted a few Wikipedians asking when in 1995 Legends last aired. As you can see on the page, there’s no exact date given and no one seems to have an answer. Don’t know if you know when in 1995 Legends last aired. IMDb and other sources are completely wrong about Legends last airing on June 27, 1995 as a few airdates after June 27 have been confirmed. Let me know if you have an answer.

Alec Borden (talk) 20:40, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Alec Borden: Sorry but I was kind of driven away from the article after dealing with ownership issues from another editor. I hope you find what you are looking for though. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:46, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2018 Caracas bombing

Would it be "2018 Caracas Bombing" or "2018 Caracas bombing"?----ZiaLater (talk) 16:02, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I would go for the latter title, I went with the title that was on the Spanish wikipedia. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 16:03, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy. There's nothing wrong with pointing out how high (Democrats) & how low (Republicans) could end up, in their number of seats. GoodDay (talk) 17:03, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I guess you're going edit-war over this. So may as well let you have your own way. Sometimes, it's so frustrating. GoodDay (talk) 17:05, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@GoodDay: I just want to know where you are getting 33 from? The source used says 31. - Knowledgekid87 (talk)
193 going up to 226, is an increase of 33. Likewise, 235 going down to 198, is a decrease of 37. GoodDay (talk) 17:08, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
We have to go by the WP:RS though, 11 races are yet to be called, it will even out. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:09, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I know that 11 races haven't been called, that's why I used the word potentially. GoodDay (talk) 17:11, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That is fine....but per 1 it is 31 and 31. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:12, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
See discussion at House talkpage. GoodDay (talk) 17:21, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@GoodDay: Sorry if it seems like heated editing, I just have the feeling that the "Seats before" number in the infobox could also be wrong. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:26, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merry Merry

Happy Christmas!
Hello Knowledgekid87,
Early in A Child's Christmas in Wales the young Dylan and his friend Jim Prothero witness smoke pouring from Jim's home. After the conflagration has been extinguished Dylan writes that

Nobody could have had a noisier Christmas Eve. And when the firemen turned off the hose and were standing in the wet, smoky room, Jim's Aunt, Miss. Prothero, came downstairs and peered in at them. Jim and I waited, very quietly, to hear what she would say to them. She said the right thing, always. She looked at the three tall firemen in their shining helmets, standing among the smoke and cinders and dissolving snowballs, and she said, "Would you like anything to read?"

My thanks to you for your efforts to keep the 'pedia readable in case the firemen chose one of our articles :-) Best wishes to you and yours and happy editing in 2019. MarnetteD|Talk 02:02, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@MarnetteD: Thanks you too! ^-^ - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 02:03, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Don't edit war

You have reached 3RR with this edit [2] and you are editing against consensus. Further the edit summary on your last edit is misleading as the GRG labels the photo ad Yvonne, the medium source does, and the printed biography says it is Yvonne. Wikipedia had it as Jeanne for years. I don;t know why you are pushing so hard to minimize the new hypothesis but it only takes several sentences out of a long article full of the claims to reaching 122 and other assorted unlikely claims like living alone to an advanced age, walking unassisted at 114 etc. Legacypac (talk) 20:46, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It has been 2 reverts, and you aren't paying any mind to the objections raised. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:47, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You changed the caption 3 times. I don't see you discussing it at all. All I see is other editors who discussed the photo and how to present it, and agreed with how it was shown. Legacypac (talk) 20:50, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There was no agreement, I already responded to you on the talkpage. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:52, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that Legacypac narcissism does not like for anyone to mention his behavior. This is ironic because his narcissism drives him to dictate what other should do or say.Ghgreen (talk) 01:06, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
