List of 2000s one-hit wonders in the United States

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Big.P (talk | contribs) at 07:21, 5 June 2010 (→‎2003). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

This is a list of one-hit wonders in the United States whose one hit came out in the 2000s.

This list contains artists who reached the top 40 of the U.S. pop chart (Billboard Hot 100) with just one single. A one year lag period is also observed.

Those in italics fall in at least one of the following categories:

  • Acts who have been successful on other charts (either major success in genre-specific charts, or - if they are an international act - in their home countries), but have only had one Top-40 song in the United States.
  • Former members of successful bands who became one-hit wonders after going solo (such as Nick Lachey, formerly of 98 Degrees).
