Tatarstan Airlines (ОАО «Авиакомпания «Татарстан») is an airline based on the grounds of Kazan International Airport in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia.[1][2] It was founded in 1993,[3] and is the regional airline of the Republic of Tatarstan, part of the Russian Federation.

Trivia
- The airline received media attention when due to a plane change six passengers did not have a seat assigned to them on a 5-hour flight from Antalya in Turkey to Yekaterinburg in Russia on 24th September 2010 and, thus, were standing the whole flight.[7]
