Shahkot is a town and tehsil in the Nankana Sahib District of Pakistan. The town has a population of about 200,000.

Shahkot is on the Lahore-Faisalabad highway which brings much traffic to the area. The town is connected by road to Sangla Hill, Chak Jhumra, Salarwala, Jaranwala, Safdarabad and the district capital Nankana Sahib. The town is situated in center of Faisalabad and sheikhupura. Many worshippers come to the tomb of shrine of Syed Abu-Al-Khair Baba Nolukh Hazari on March 23–25 of every year And peoples of district enjoy this fair so much as wathcing Circus,Cenams,Theators etc. Shahkot is mostly famous to its Hill site and education .

• The Sarpanch is the focal point of contact between government officers and the village community. It is an elected position. Recently, there have been proposals to give Sarpanches small judicial powers under Panchayati Raj.

Shahkot city have 22 wards.And the total population of this city area is rournd about 100,000. The education of shahkot is on peak such that Govt Higher Secondary School for girls, Govt Higher Secondary School for Boys, Govt High school No. 2 for Boys, Govt Degree College for Boys, Govt Degee College for Women, Govt High school Dalla Nangal shahkot, Govt High school Dharo wali, a large no. of Govt Primary and Elementory schools for Girls and boys. and manay manay more private schools and colleges like as Shahab College,Jinah College,Raza College of Computer,Ideal College of Computer,Anglo College,Shahkot College of Commerce,Lahore college of Technical,Dare Arqam School,The Educaters,KBI school system etc. There are thiry mosques in shahkot and most famous are Khajoor Wali Mosque,Masjid Ghalla Mandi Wali,Madina Masjid,Jamia Muhammadia,Jamia Ashrafia,Imam Bargah,Bilal Mosque,Noori Mosque etc. Tanzeem Faizan_e_Lasani Sarkar is also in Shahkot. Muhammad Adnan Afzal Naqshbandi belongs to Ward # 8 Shahkot is the Ameer_e_Halqa of Tanzeem Faizan_e_Lasani Sarkar in Shahkot. There is one police station in shahkot and crime rtaio is under control as per nearest areas. Bilal Kefe is the lonly entertainment point for the people of shahkot. Shahkot is a central trade point with its four famous bazar's as Sangla Bazar,Faisalabad Bazar,Mananwala Bazar,Jaranwala Bazar and Anar kali street. The majour prolem of shahkot is that many young guys use Drugs.
