    abercrombieandfitchstoreuk.com

Apparently some sort of Hong Kong merchandise knockoff company spamming the real Abercrombie & Fitch article. Their site looks almost real. --CliffC (talk) 13:04, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Facepalm Of course, thank you. The report still stands, though I'll add that there have been (few, minor) constructive contributions from that IP, the most recent in March 2011 ([1]). Adrian J. Hunter(talkcontribs) 11:01, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't particularly spammish, barely has any ads beyond a few google ads, but it's not a reliable source for this project.

    thefreeresource.com

Seems to be a promotional blog; style of pages linked sometimes seems fairly neutral, other times overwhelmingly positive, example here. --CliffC (talk) 01:41, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This user explicitly states he's an insider with biased perspective at Articles_for_deletion/Aaron_Wall and his user page clearly shows his stake in services involving SEO.

He's made wiki doorway pages to multiple snippet articles which provides target for seeding commercial reference links that he may stand to gain from increased visits.
List of mini articles that circular reference each other
Most of pages within that category do not meet source quality standards per WP:sources and the web owner and its affiliate marketers may stand to gain financially from visitors
Category page dedicated to list of people of not interest to general public that seems to serve as a directory. List of not so notable people
Many of these people are not known outside of a specific niche industry and they're poorly referenced at best.
I think this akin is to creating a category for "Honor students of local high school"

    "Internet Archaeology" spam

Jitka J recently registered and immediately began spamming articles from "Internet Archaeology" in their External links sections. Can someone with the appropriate tools or time please revert these edits? These links might make good references for new material in these articles but indiscriminately adding them as external links is unacceptable. ElKevbo (talk) 14:43, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
