False claims of vandalismPlease do not place unwarranted vandalism warnings on my talk page as you did today. I can only imagine this was a retaliatory act for the legitimate vandalism warnings I posted at User_talk:138.162.0.44 and User_talk:138.162.0.46 on February 25. As this IP address and those other two are all registered to the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet and a few digits off from one another, it's reasonable to assume this activity is all connected and likely the doing of a single person (i.e. the intended addressee of this message). If you actually want to file a complaint against a productive, tenured, and decorated editor such as myself, I suggested you register yourself a username. Moreover, doesn't the U.S. Military have better uses for it resources than the disruption of a collaborative, international, civilian effort such as Wikipedia? Please stop disrespecting this effort and our country.Jweiss11 (talk) 19:56, 27 February 2010 (UTC) (Jonathan M. Weiss, New York, NY) March 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Since We Last Spoke has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding or significantly changing content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Diving (ice hockey), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit Wikipedia too, under the name RandomAct. Wikipedia is an all-volunteer operation, and I'm one of the many volunteers here who help review edits. Everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, but I noticed that one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to The Tall Man (2011 film) with this edit, seemed to be unconstructive. I have reverted it for now, and ask that in the future you please use the sandbox for test edits, not encyclopedia articles. It also helps to provide an informative edit summary so that other editors like me have a brief description of your change to Wikipedia. If you have questions, you might want to take a look at this tutorial. Also, feel free to ask me questions on my talk page. Template:Z51 RandomAct(talk to me) 00:53, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ural River , without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Rsync with this edit do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Odie5533 (talk) 14:58, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
To someone...
Welcome, and before trying to hard to contribute, please take time to read through the "basic editing" section of help and also the talk page guidelines. That way, whatever you have to say will be most easily understood by the rest of us. Indent, interline, formatting, etc. All those concepts are necessary on complicated threads of talk pages. Thanks, welcome again. Oh... and "sign" your comments by making a string of 4 of these things NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) which I am now going to do and instead of the 4 tilde thingies you see this: NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 18:57, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

Please do not insert edits into the article Virginia v. West Virginia which violate the Wikipedia guidelines regarding neutral point of view. You seem to be pushing a viewpoint that the creation of West Virginia was illegitimate. That issue has been settled by the U.S. Supreme Court, as the article points out. To insert quotation marks around the word "Governor" implies that this is not a legitimately created office. To continue to push this viewpoint without citing neutral, reliable sources is inappropriate.
