Prozor-Rama is a municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The town of Prozor is located in the northern part of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. There is Ramsko jezero (Rama Lake).

History

In the Middle Ages, the King of Hungary held the title of King of Rama named after this region.

Spatial plan of Prozor that municipality commissioned in 2010 and drafted by Ecoplan Mostar has demographic estimates for 2008. By this spatial plan, in 2008. In Prozor lived 16,517 residents. In period between 1991 and 2008, Prozor lost 3,243 of its residents or 16,41% of its population.[1]

Sports

The area is home to the football club NK Rama, and basketball club HKK Rama.
