Sikandra Rao is a city and a municipal board in Hathras district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.


It is located on N.H. 91. Sikandra rao is 37 km from Aligarh, 60 km to Khair, 61 km to Firozabad, 69 km to Agra, 74 km to Mathura, 105 km to Bharatpur, 120 km to Farrukhabad, 121 km to Etawah, 125 km to Bareilly, 128 km to Hapur, 132 km to Moradabad, 30 km to Kashiram nagar, 26 km from Jalesar, 35 km. from Hathras town. Sikandra Rao Railway Station is on Mathura- Kasganj-Bareilly rail route. Nearest airport is Agra Civil Enclaves.

Demographics

As of 2001 the census[1] found a population of 38,485. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
