Hello! Wanted to call your attention to a couple of issues with many of your image uploads.

1. Non-free images shouldn't be used in place of free images. A couple of the automated messages above are about images you uploaded of people or musical groups for whom we already had a freely licensed image. Wikipedia has a strong preference in favor of free content whenever possible.
2. Please try to improve the source you're providing for the images you upload. If it's not your creation, you need to try to find out who owns the image, or who created the image. Do you seriously think that http://www.princevault.com a wiki with no listed publisher or authors, is a reliable souce for Starfish and Coffee (song) or ineeed for anything? If so, why? Do you know who is behind the content there and what kind of editorial process they have? Maybe you know somethign I don't. But we need reliable sources, and wikis are almost never accepted as such. It occurs to me that I may have assumed too much, and been too brusque in my previous message. If I offended you, I'm sorry. Let me try to explain some things, and please reply if you have questions or if you disagree. Wikipedia is not quite like msot othe web sites. You've been posting her now for 6 months or so, you have suely learned this. A Wikipedia artilce has to be accurate, but even more it has to be verifiable. That means that any reader must be able to confirm that what it says is true. The main way we let our readers do that is by citing sources. That means we tell the readers where we learned the facts in the articel, or where they can confirm them. And at least some of those sources have to be independent of the subject, written by people not affiliated with the subject, and not motivated to streach things. And pretty much all sources have to be reliable. What counts as reliable depends on the context, but it oftne comes doen to the reputation of the person who wrote it, and the person or orgianizaion who published it. Sites where anyone can add anything with no checks, like much of IMDB, are rarely considered reliable. nwither are most fan sites. You presumably know http://www.princevault.com better than i do -- do you think it shuld be considered reliable?

Louis CK - sexual misconduct

Hi there. I'm not a regular user of Wikipedia, so I'm uncertain where to direct my thoughts, given that Louis CK page was locked. I noticed you had made the most recent corrections, so I hope I've come to the right place.

In the "sexual misconduct" section of Louis CK's page, the author of the last paragraph has drawn some false conclusions from Louis CK's written statement. Here's the offending paragraph:

In a statement the day after the Times report, C.K. acknowledged that all five allegations were true, expressing remorse at the hurt he caused and the abuse of his power as an admired figure in the comedy world. He also stated that he had thought that his actions were acceptable because he first asked permission, not realizing that this put the women he was asking in a predicament due to his power in the industry, and added that he "took advantage" of his own high standing, "which disabled them from sharing their story and brought hardship to them when they tried because people who look up to me didn't want to hear it."

Louis CK DID NOT SAY he "abused his power as an admired figure in the comedy world" when he sexually harassed those women. That's a leap. He said "The power I had over these women is that they admired me." i.e. They liked him. They looked up to him because of who he was, his talent... Not because of his "standing". Louis CK had no "standing" in the world of comedy back in 2002 and 2004. He was a struggling hack in his late 30's who paid the bills as a joke writer. It was only after his first special aired on HBO in 2006 that he became a successful, minor celebrity.

It's an important distinction and intrinsic to the accusation of whether this was a form of sexual abuse

Louis CK admitted he later "took advantage of the fact that I was widely admired in my and their community, which disabled them from sharing their story and brought hardship to them when they tried because people who look up to me didn’t want to hear it."

He is talking about the past 10 years - AFTER these incidents occurred - AFTER he became famous. He was able to evade the accusations and dismiss the ongoing rumours because of his elevated standing as a successful comedian.

The Wiki author has incorrectly conflated these two admissions from CK. Louis never admitted to abusing a position of authority & power in order to target these women like the predatory behaviour of Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey. They were work colleagues who liked each other. That's all.

Elton John B-sides

Please don't create articles for non-notable B-sides to the singles – most of them are either completely unsourced or they just contain one line of text taken from the review of the whole album... WP:NSONG states "If the only coverage of a song occurs in the context of reviews of the album on which it appears, that material should be contained in the album article and an independent article about the song should not be created", so I'm going to redirect these articles to the albums where appropriate.

I also wanted to point out that the artwork you uploaded for "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" is only the artwork for the German release of the single, and this should be noted in the caption underneath the artwork, because different countries had different pictures on the sleeves – almost all singles released in the UK before about 1976-77 were in plain paper sleeves without artwork. I also note that you uploaded a different picture for the Caribou album cover... that's fine, so long as it is under 100,000 pixels in size, but you should know that on Wikipedia PNG files are preferred to JPG files, and it's likely that your upload will be replaced in the future. In fact, all the cover art you have uploaded is too big for non-free use on Wikipedia – I am going to tag it so that the resolutions are reduced to an a acceptable size. For future reference, the maximum pixel size you can normally upload for an album cover is 300 x 300 pixels (giving 90,000 pixels in total), and if possible, upload it in PNG format rather than JPG.
