Dear Razorwood, please stop spamming my talk page. I will contact an admin if the activity continues.

Next time, try not to erase the stuff I add while your reverting. You could easily copy/paste it on the right place, since your so uber Wiki.

An Automated Message from HagermanBot

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 03:17, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Your report on ANI

Come to think of it, it might have been a bot or script doing that reverting on the spammer's talkpage, and it might have continued until the end of time, so it's a good thing you brought it up. Regards, Newyorkbrad 03:53, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Stealing Other Peoples Userpages Is Not Allowed!

Just kidding. I did it also. I had problems implementing ClockworkSoul's system too, so thought I might be able to help you (ClockworkSoul is on a bit of a wikibreak at the moment). I can't see any obvious sign that you're still having problems with it - is there anything I can do to help or have you got the hang of it already? --Seans Potato Business 13:35, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

I'll stop reverting your talk page then. It's not nice to remove warnings >.< Nol888(Talk) 21:44, 24 February 2007 (UTC-5)
But it's not against rules (as far as I know)
Would you want people coming to your talk page and seeing warnings? That doesn't really say "credible" for my reputation, does it? Alias777 03:55, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Well, then you shouldn't vandalize then. I guess it's ok as it was only a first level warning. P.S. I don't run a bot. >.< Nol888(Talk) 03:57, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

WP:AIV formatting

Hey Nol888, the RYAN... name you posted to ANI was removed by the Helperbot because you used the User template instead of Userlinks or Vandal. I readded your post and it's been dealt with. But just thought you'd like to know for future reference, you can see the header at AIV for more information. -SpuriousQ (talk) 22:19, 24 February 2007 (UTC-5)

Ok. Thanks. I'll look at that next time. Nol888(Talk) 03:20, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi there! I noticed your comment on user talk:jadensaga, and thought you would be interested in this edit to add to the list. I would have put a warning up, but yours was the "last warning" and I can't block people.--Jude 03:35, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

My bad, I checked the times and I figure the final warning you administered was for the edit I just listed. Sorry to bother you!--Jude 03:39, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

User:Antiquus

I couldn't find any warnings on this user's talk page. See Wikipedia:Vandalism for templates and guidelines. TimVickers 02:33, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, he seems to have "vandalised" so many articles, I didn't know what to warn him for. And I know what the templates are. I use TWINKLE.

AFC accept

Just a note, in case you didn't already know it: When accepting an AFC article you can use a parameter with {{afc accept}} to provide a link to the new article. It's optional of course, but it's handy to give the user a quick link to the new article. Just pipe a link to the article name: {{afc accept|Article Name}} ●DanMSTalk 01:57, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Ok. I'll remember that next time. Thanks for the tip.

on the subject of Rakion

I have a link which should be useful to you. It is the story of the game. I intended to summarize it myself, but it seems you might be more capable. http://rakion.softnyx.net/about/story/story1.asp I also might put in an actual article on the story, in the style of the anime story pages, complete with spoiler tags! Please note the story is 4 pages, navigated at the top. I copied it into word, its a little longer than 3 M. Word pages. Let me know if i can help in any way. At this juncture, your edits really only show activity for last month and this month. You will definitely need more talk page contributions because others definitely look for that. Honestly, I would wait 4-6 months before trying. If you try in less time, you will probably not make it. Then you will have to wait even longer to attempt it again. That's just my opinion. Keep up the vandal fighting :) IrishGuy talk 01:34, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Ok, I shall wait until May or June, or until someone nominates me. I guess a few more month's experience will do good. And what do you mean by talk page contributions? Nol888(Talk) 01:38, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
I mean more activity on article talk pages. You have very little. Others might interpret that as a lack of desire to communicate with others. IrishGuy talk 01:38, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I see. I guess I'll try to improve there then, somehow. Nol888(Talk)(Review me please) 01:50, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Re: Personal Question

Hi! Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. While I don't have an opinion on it, my suggestion would be to watch WP:RFA and the candidates, look at why people are supporting or opposing, and use those as a model. It might also help to look through the history archive of past unsuccessful RFAs. That's always a good place to evaluate yourself. Let me know if I can help with anything else! —Pilotguy (go around) 22:24, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Admin coaching

You expressed interest in having a coach. I do have just a few conditions though, and they are that you...

  1. don't go for your RfA or accept an RfA nomination until I think you are ready.
  2. take feedback and advice provided by me and your fellow students to heart (this should be a group effort)
  3. display the template {{VC lessons}} somewhere on one of your user pages where you can access it easily (at or near the top of your talk page is a pretty good place).
  4. complete the assignments that I post for you at the Virtual classroom or on your talk page to the best of your ability.
  5. participate in the training of the other students at the VC, by providing feedback, asking questions, and making suggestions, etc. Collaboration is highly encouraged.

If you agree, I'll set up a section for you on the Virtual classroom, and we can get started.

I look forward to your reply. The Transhumanist   04:52, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

I accept your terms and conditions. I will be away for a bit though. What time zone do you live in? Nol888(Talk)(Review me please) 23:28, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Recache

Hi Nol888: in the future, if you ever update a template and need a recache, just load up the page with the &action=purge parameter on the end. For example, to recache this talk page, just load http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Nol888&action=purge. A shortcut is to load the edit page and then change &action=edit to &action=purge in the address bar. —METS501 (talk) 17:22, 16 March 2007 (UTC-4)

I tried. It didn't work. I already know about that purge function; I have a link to purge my userpage. For some reason the bot approval page did not re-cache. Nol888(Talk)(Review me please) 19:03, 16 March 2007 (UTC-4)

Yes, {{WPAVIATION}}, will replace all aviation related banners. It has already replaced {{WikiProject Red Bull Air Race World Series}} and {{AirlineProject}}, and all links to {{AircraftProject}} and {{AirportProject}} are currently being changed over. The instructions at {{WPAVIATION}} describe how the template is used at each type of page to place them in the correct categories. - Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 12:01, 17 March 2007 (UTC-4)

CSD Tagging

Before listing a userpage as db-nouser please validate that it is not really a user. Example: On User:Mr. Know-it-All's Magic Tricks, you tagged it as such, but the user log shows it is a user. Users can often usually be spotted by having a "User contributions" link in the sidebar toolbox when looking at their pages. Thanks, — xaosflux Talk 11:29, 18 March 2007 (UTC-4)

Yes, I was having trouble figuring out if it was a user or not, I will take that into consideration next time. Nol888(Talk)(Review me please) 11:34, 18 March 2007 (UTC-4)

AirportProject

Thank you for continuing to change over the aviation templates with your bot, but the correct parameter for airport pages is |airports-project=yes and not |airport-project=yes . It doesn't cause an error, but it doesn't put the page in the airport categories. Perhaps I'll add some code to give a notice if the parameters are used incorrectly. - Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 13:19, 18 March 2007 (UTC-4)

Sorry, I've edited the bot's code to replace with the correct parameter. Nol888(Talk)(Review me please) 19:17, 18 March 2007 (UTC-4)

A bot request

Could you send your bot through Wikipedia:Version_1.0_Editorial_Team/Airport_articles_by_quality_log. As you can see from that page, there are still a lot of articles that have been removed from the Airports assessment because they have |Airport-project=yes instead of |Airports-project=yes. Thanks. Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 20:53, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Ok. I'll get on it. Nol888(Talk)(Review me please) 20:55, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

I think it's done

Thanks for the assist. (The indents you added were exactly what it needed).

I'm done with my main copy-edit of User:The Transhumanist/Virtual classroom/Yuser, on fighting link spam. Please take a look, and touch-up anything that needs it. It goes live on Wednesday (tomorrow). The Transhumanist   22:14, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

List of famous Prestonians

I've changed to name "List of Prestonians" to List of famous Prestonians. In your User:Nol888/ListofLists the link needs to be updated, I don't like editing people's User pages without permission. I felt the title could have meant anyone from Preston being added to the list. I've alphabetised the list by letter and some minor editing. Cwb61 (talk) 14:15, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on The Kingdom Hearts Chronicles, by Kariteh (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because The Kingdom Hearts Chronicles is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting The Kingdom Hearts Chronicles, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 20:05, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

I noticed that you issued User:72.10.113.123 a "final warning" for his edits on Preppy, however this was well-after I had given him a level-3 warning for a later edit. My understanding is that warnings typically shouldn't get escalated unless there has been an additional violation following the prior warning, however I did not want to revert your warning without first consulting you, in case you did have a reason. Debt-based monetary system is a term used by conspiracy theorists, critical of the Federal Reserve. It isn't used by economists. There is no information in that article that isn't to be found in the rest of Wikipedia's articles on monetary policy. The article exists to push a certain POV about fractional reserve. See the talk page. 69.138.16.202 (talk) 17:09, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

I have been at Wikipedia for some time, and I know that there is usually a formal AfD discussion before an article is arbitrarily redirected. Also, as an IP user, I wonder what formal experience you have to make these decisions. Excuse me if that sounds rude, just, this seems to conflict with what my experiences tell. Nol888(Talk)(Review) 17:15, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

There was an extensive discussion on Talk:Debt-based monetary system. Discussion is not warranted for terms used by conspiracy theorists, in order to push a POV. Wikipedia is about being bold. 69.138.16.202 (talk) 17:20, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
There was no formal decision to redirect the page. Wikipedia is about being bold, but such unwarranted changes as a page redirect is not covered under that policy. Nol888(Talk)(Review) 17:25, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
There was a lengthy discussion and in any case, there doesn't always need to be a discussion if the article is obviously junk. 69.138.16.202 (talk) 17:27, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
