  1. Why is Doctor Fate considered of low importance? Fate is at least a mid-level importance character. --Scottandrewhutchins 19:46, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
We've got to contextualise these character's importance to the medium, not within their own specific sphere. So in the DC COmics Fate is probably going to be of mid level importance, but that translates to low in relation to the whole of comics. We've got to bear in mind that a lot of characters are going to be of no importance, the bit parters and so on. Low is quite high in that sense. I mean, an article on the character is not going to be a must, but it's certainly not filler. I can see how a low was given, but I can also see where you are coming from suggesting a mid. Hiding Talk 20:12, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I hardly see how Carnage is of more importance than Doctor Fate. --Scottandrewhutchins 11:27, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've already indicated I feel Carnage should be low. Hiding Talk 09:57, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Could someone look at Clea; it has no rating, on importance or quality. She's a very long-term supporting character, and I'd say the article is slightly better than a stub--Erikacornia 07:24, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Could someone take a look over Robin (Tim Drake) please. I've rated it B/Mid, but I'm not sure if it should be higher up the "Class" scale. I may be a bit biased in that I've just spent a fair chunk of time tweaking it. — J Greb 22:09, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Looks right to me. For me it would need more references, needs to be written with the present tense where it describes plot detail and needs better grounding our universe, as well as a better lead paragraph to be an A class. I might move it down to a start class article, but I'm not over-bothered. Hiding Talk 14:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Carnage (comics) - currently rated as B/High --Mrph 23:43, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Iron Man's armor - currently rated as ???/High --Mrph 23:43, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  6. List of S.H.I.E.L.D. members - currently rated as B/High --Mrph 23:43, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Chris has set them to Mid, Low and Low respectively, which I tend to agree with. I'd probably have gone Low on Carnage and offered a none on the other two, but Chris' way works too. Hiding Talk 21:25, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, yes, I meant to make mention of this. Why Low on Carnage? --Chris Griswold () 13:06, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"Why Low on Carnage?" Well, why not. Is Carnage that important a character to the world of comics as a whole? Convince me. Certainly a mid to high level in relation to Spiderman, but to the entirety of comics? Green Goblin I would rate as mid, is Carnage as important as Green Goblin? Hiding Talk 14:34, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No opinion if Carnage should be mid or low, but high is certainly overrated (see my reasoning for the different categories on the talk page). I notice that already, some overenthusiasm in putting articles in Top and High is happening, but I'll wait to comment on most until I have a better view of what numbers these categories will have. Fram 14:29, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think the wheat will eventually sort from the chaff as work gets underway. Hiding Talk 14:34, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You would rate Green Goblin as low? I might rate him medium and then Carnage Low. --Chris Griswold () 14:43, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, I said I would rate him as mid, and then Carnage as low. Which it appears we agree on. Which is a good thing. :) Hiding Talk 14:55, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I think you convinced me about halfway through my writing the previous comment. --Chris Griswold () 15:03, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  7. The Noob - Currently rated as B/Low - I've done a lot of work on it from it's original stub, It would be nice to see how it measures up through peer review --Timmccloud 16:13, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Currently Silver Age of Comic Books and Bronze Age of Comic Books are rated as Top importance, Golden Age of Comic Books is rated as High, and Modern Age of Comic Books is rated as Mid. 1. Awesome Comics. I've edited Rob Liefeld's Awesome Comics considerably, with a lot of information about both the company and it's output, as well as adding a near-complete bibliography. 2. The Order of the Stick. Last time this was assessed was before I added sections on Critical Reaction and its use of parody as a form of commentary on roleplaying games, as well as a big pile of inline references, which I'm hoping increased the article's real-world context significantly. --Ig8887 (talk) 17:30, 5 February 2008 (UTC) C-Class, is tagged as needing additional sources so that needs fixing. 24. Barry_Windsor-Smith I'd appreciate a critique of a number of pages I've done recently, for potential upgrading (of course) and good pointers for future contributions. Hoping to upgrade a significant number of existing pages in 2010, and add more. This would help immensely. 35. Women in Refrigerators I'm new to the peer review process - I'd like to work to make an A article but am confused about the peer review process. At the least, I went through the last iteration and did a clean up and am wondering if it at least rates a B now. Fcr (talk) 04:16, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  36. Gabriel Vargas - Could someone run the WP Comics B Class checklist for assessment and improvement I helped to expand Gabriel Vargas which appeared today as a DYK. Thanks in advance. ----moreno oso (talk) 03:55, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  3. Lat: Malaysian cartoonist who received a title equivalent to a knighthood for his work. Massive rewrite, article is also undergoing a peer review here (comments are welcome). The current article approaches A-class in my view and I tried giving it a straight B, but the Comics template wants a checklisted approach, so here it is listed. Jappalang (talk) 15:00, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  4. The Kampung Boy: Lat's most well-known work. I have expanded and rewritten with reliable sources. Not yet sent to a peer review, but like Lat's article, I believe it is substantially better than before. Jappalang (talk) 15:00, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  4. Louis Riel (comics) : the article has been thoroughly rewritten and expanded, lots of sources. Also, it is a bestseller and award-winner, so I think its importance should be reevaluated as well. CüRlyTüRkeyTalkContribs 06:15, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

2017-2018

[edit]
  1. Three Thieves (graphic novel series) - Requesting assessment because it hasn't been assessed, and the article is halfway through completion. Also, is no longer a stub by far. L3X1 Complaints Desk 17:45, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • I see this has now received an assessment of Stub, and I agree. Since all sources are primary sources (apart from one Goodreads link, and Goodreads is not a reliable source), this hasn't even met a basic requirement of an article to demonstrate notability. Until that's met I think it must be the lowest rating. HenryCrun15 (talk) 02:57, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  2. ODY-C - It used to be three sentences long. Now it is not. --Mooeena (talk) 03:51, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Dennis Hopeless - Was told to add more biographical details to get a higher grade, so I added a personal section with information about his wife and children. Have kept the page updated with current work. OffensiveName (talk) 19:35, 10 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Serbian comics - rewritten from scratch in 2016, polished recently.WimbledonGreen (talk) 21:27, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • I have bumped this up to C-class as it is extensive, but no further as it lacks a lot of citations. For example, where is the source for the statement "Comics started developing in Serbia in the late 19th century, mostly in humor and children’s magazines"?
