Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. is a chain of nostalgic, aviation-themed restaurants where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop locations are decorated following a 1930s and 1940s "pre-jet" aviation theme. The restaurant chain was founded in 1994 in Garland, Texas, and began offering franchises in 1998. Since then, Wingstop has grown into a chain with more than 650 restaurants either open or in development.[2] The chain is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.

Wingstop's national spokesman is Troy Aikman, three-time Super Bowl Champion and NFL Hall of Fame inductee.[3] It was acquired by Gemini Investors in 2003, who sold it to Roark Capital Group in 2010.[4]

The menu consists of wings, boneless wings, and chicken strips.[5]

The sides include vegetable sticks, fresh-baked yeast rolls, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, and fries.

Dips are ranch, blue cheese, hot cheddar cheese sauce, and honey mustard.
