List of traffic collisions (2010–2014)

This is a dynamic list and may never be able to satisfy particular standards for completeness. You can help by adding missing items with reliable sources.

List of road accidents records serious road accidents that caused a high death toll, occurred in unusual circumstances, or hold some other historical significance. The prevalence of bus accidents in this list is a function of severity rather than of frequency.

February 16	Italy	A bus crashed and went down an embankment near the town of Massa, Italy. The accident killed three French people and 20 were injured.
February 17	India	A bus with wedding guests crashed into a river in Jalaun District, India, killing at least 22 people with at least another 10 people unaccounted for.
February 22	Peru	Two buses collided head-on on the Panamerican Highway near Virú, Peru, killing 38. Main article: 2010 Peru bus crash
February 26	Indonesia	At least 3 people were killed and 2 injured in car accident at Jakarta, Indonesia.
March 5	United States	A bus overturned near Phoenix, Arizona killing 6 and injuring 15.
March 18	Nepal	A crowded bus veered off a mountain road in Nepal and plunged into a river just west of Kathmandu, killing 24.
March 27	United States	A crash between a van and a tractor-trailer on Interstate 65 south of Munfordville, Kentucky killed 11.
March 31	United Kingdom	A coach crashed into a river after falling from a bridge in a snow storm in Lanark, Scotland killing a 17 year old girl and injuring 44 passengers.
April 12	United States	A multiple-vehicle crash on a rain-slicked freeway north of Los Angeles killed 5.
April 16	Pakistan	A bus fell into a river on Haramosh Peak, Pakistan. The accident killed 12 and injured 7.
May 23	China	A truck travelling in the wrong direction on an expressway in China's north-east collided head-on with a bus. The collision occurred on a section of expressway that was undergoing maintenance in the city of Fuzin in Liaoning province. Thirty-two people were killed and twenty-one were injured and sent to the hospital.
July 2	Democratic Republic of Congo	A fuel tanker overturned and exploded, creating a fireball that devastated the town of Sange, in South Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The preliminary death toll placed the number of dead at 220, with 111 injured.
July 11	Republic of Ireland	A traffic accident, near Inishowen, in Ireland killed eight people.
July 18	Albania	Fourteen people were killed and twelve injured after a bus fell off a cliff in northern Albania, near the city of Durrës.
August 12	Democratic Republic of Congo	Fifty-eight died when a lorry plunged into Lake Tanganyika in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
August 18	Philippines	In the Philippines, a fully packed bus plunged off a mountain highway into a 100 foot (≈30.5 m) ravine killing 41 people.
August 25	South Africa	At least 8 children were killed and 4 were injured when a school bus collided with a train.
September 26	Germany	A Polish tourist bus returning from Spain careered into a bridge on a rain-soaked German motorway killing 13 people.
October 10	Malaysia	Twelve people were killed and more than fifty were injured in a highway crash that involved two buses, three cars, and a van at the North-South Expressway, near the Malacca-Negeri Sembilan state border, Malaysia.
October 12	Ukraine	Forty-five people were killed in the Ukraine when a bus crossed a railway near Marhanets against a red light and was hit by a train.
October 19	Mexico	Eighteen people were killed when a bus collided with a truck, burst into flames, and flipped over in central Mexico.
October 25	Uganda	Twenty-one people were killed when a bus collided with a fuel truck in northern Uganda.
December 3	Iraq	At least 15 people were killed, 11 Iranian, and 45 were injured, 22 Iranian, in a collision between two buses in Iraq.
December 20	Malaysia	Twenty-seven people, mostly Thai tourists, were killed when the double-decker coach bus they were traveling in crashed at the Second East-West Highway of the Perak-Pahang state border near Cameron Highlands, in the state of Pahang, Malaysia.

April 28	Afghanistan	At least 21 were killed and 23 injured when a bus flipped over on the main Kabul-Kandahar highway in Zabul Province.
March 12	United States	A bus crashed on Interstate 95 in the Bronx, New York. Fifteen people were killed. Main article: World Wide Tours bus crash
April 2	Peru	At least 20 people were killed and another 47 injured after a bus fell into a 200-meter ravine.
April 8	Germany	Due to very low visibility in a dust/sand storm, 80 cars piled up in a mass crash on the Autobahn A19 in Germany, 30 caught fire. 8 people died and 131 were injured.
April 15	Chile	At least 14 people were killed, including two children, and 17 were injured when a bus went off the road and fell off a five-meter high drop.
April 19	Democratic Republic of Congo	At least 32 people were killed after a truck hit a group of people in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Most of the fatalities were children. The driver was seriously injured.
May 14	Afghanistan	At least 21 were killed, including 15 children, when a bus plunged into a canal in Balkh Province.
May 15	Nigeria	Two passenger buses hit each other in the northern Nigerian state of Yobe. At least 18 people were killed and 11 were injured. The accident occurred when one of the buses collided into an oncoming passenger bus, causing a fire to break out in the first vehicle.
June 26	Indonesia	A passenger bus crashed on the Indonesian Island of Sumatra and killed 14 people when it plunged from a hill into a ditch with water.
July 17	Russia	At least 5 people were killed, including two children, and 19 were injured as a result of a collision between a passenger bus and a truck in Tomsk Oblast.
July 28	Bangladesh	A bus collided head-on with a truck in Bangladesh, killing at least 17 people and injured 30.
August 20	Afghanistan	At least 35 people were killed and several injured in a bus crash in southern Afghanistan.
August 21	Kenya	At least 23 people were killed when a bus plunged into a river.
August 24	South Africa	At least 16 were killed, including 15 children, and 42 injured when a school bus plunged into the water in Knysna, Western Cape Province.
August 29	Cameroon	At least 28 people were killed in a collision between a bus and a truck.
August 31	Nigeria	At least 30 people wre killed in road accident.
September 12	Indonesia	At least 19 were killed in bus accident in East Java.
September 15	Brazil	Rodovia dos Imigrantes Highway at São Paulo, Brazil. 300 vehicles were involved in an accident due to heavy fog, causing several injuries and killing one person.
October 12	Chile	Due to fog and smoke causing low visibility, a collision involving 23 trucks, 11 buses and 17 cars occurs on Route 68 near Casablanca, Chile, 67 km west of Santiago, in Valparaíso Region. At least 73 were injured and 5 people died.
October 24	Mexico	At least 10 were killed and 16 injured after a bus fell into in a ravine.
October 28	Ecuador	At least 11 children were killed and 24 children were injured when a school bus fell into a ravine.
November 1	Hungary	At least 14 Romanians were killed in a collision between a truck and a minibus.
November 2	Argentina	At least 7 were killed, including 5 girls, in a collision between a school bus and a train.
November 4	Great Britain	A 34-vehicle crash near Taunton, England on the M5 motorway resulted in 7 dead and 51 injured. Main article: 2011 M5 motorway crash
November 6	Egypt	At least 11 Hungarian tourists were killed and 27 were injured in a bus accident.
November 26	Togo	The team bus of the Étoile Filante football team crashed. 6 were killed and 25 were injured.
November 26	Ghana	At least 30 were killed in a collision between two buses.
December 3	Brazil	A truck collided with a bus in Mato Grosso state, Brazil. The crash killed 33 people.
December 6	Tanzania	At least 6 were killed and 20 were injured in a bus accident.
December 7	Thailand	At least 8 were killed and 50 were injured in bus accident in Thailand.
December 7	Algeria	At least 7 people were killed and 22 injured in a bus accident.
December 18	Kenya	A bus and a tanker collided in Kenya and killed 8 people.
December 20	Malaysia	At least 8 Brunei tourists were killed when a bus hit a tree in Malaysia.
December 27	South Africa	At least 19 killed when a minibus taxi collided with a car.
December 29	Venezuela	At least 14 die when a tanker collided with a bus.
December 31	Thailand	At least 12 killed and 4 injured in a collision between a bus and a truck.

2012

• India January 2 — At least 10 children, ages five to eight, and a driver were killed when bus collided with a truck in Haryana state.

• Haiti January 16 — A truck collided with other vehicles and street vendors in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, killing 29 people and injuring 67.

• Ethiopia January 17 — Forty-three people were killed in Ethiopia when a bus fell 80 metres (≈260 ft) into a gorge north of the capital of Addis Ababa.

• Ukraine January 20 — At least nine people were killed and eight others injured when a minibus collided with a truck in western Ukraine's Rovno Region.

• United States January 29 — Eleven people were killed in multi-vehicle pile-up on Interstate 75 near Gainesville, Florida. Fog and smoke from a brush fire reducing visibility was given as its cause.

• Iraq February 3 — Twelve people died in a collision of seven cars on the road between Balad an Samarra districts in Salahuddin province.

• Kenya February 4 — Twenty-six people were killed in a road accident in Kenya involving two mini buses along the Kisumu - Kakamega Highway. It was blamed on a police road block at a blind spot during the night.

• Canada February 6 — Eleven people were killed in an accident between a van carrying migrant workers and a transport truck near Stratford, Ontario.

• Kenya February 12 — Ten people were killed in Kenya when a mini bus plunged into a ditch along the Nairobi - Nakuru highway.

• Kenya March 2 — Nine students were killed and more than forty injured when a truck lost control near Bungoma, Kenya and went into a crowd.

• Switzerland March 13 — Sierre coach crash: 28 people were killed, 22 of whom were children, and 24 injured, when a coach ran into a tunnel wall near Sierre in Switzerland.

• Great Britain March 24 — In a collision between a lorry and a coach on the M5 motorway one coach passenger died and 39 others were injured, two critically including the driver of the lorry who subsequently died.

• Algeria March 25 — At least 19 were killed and 30 injured in bus accident.

• Kenya April 2 — At least 12 were killed in bus accident in Kenya.

• Nepal April 7 — At least 5 were killed in a collision between a jeep and a bus.

• Zimbabwe April 16 — At least 12 were killed in bus accident.

• Mexico April 20 — A trailer truck collides with an overloaded passenger bus in Álamo, Veracruz, killing 43 people and injuring 18.

• Netherlands April 21 — 3 were killed including 1 child in an accident in Ouddorp.

• Ukraine April 23 — At least 6 were killed and 10 injured after a bus collided with a truck.

• Japan April 29 — Seven people were killed and thirty-eight were injured when a coach ran into a highway wall in Gunma Prefecture in Japan.

• Afghanistan April 29 — Eight people, including six children, were killed and two injured when car hit a passenger bus in the Adraskan District, Herat Province.

• Pakistan May 3 — At least 17 people were killed, including 2 children, and were 19 injured in a bus accident in Pakistan.

• Italy May 5 — At least 5 were killed and 10 injured in bus accident in Italy.

• Kazakhstan May 8 — Sixteen were killed in a road accident in the central Karaganda region of Kazakhstan.

• Cambodia May 8 — At least were 4 killed and 7 injured in minibus accident.

• Cuba May 14 — At least 5 were killed in bus accident.

• Vietnam May 18 — At least 34 were killed and 21 injured after a crowded bus plunged into a river bank.

• Albania May 21 — At least 11 Albanian university students were when their bus plunged into a gorge near the town of Elbasan.

• South Africa May 26 — At least 5 were killed and 87 injured in bus accident in South Africa.

• Norway May 28 — At least 2 were killed in bus accident in Norway.

• Cambodia May 31 — At least 7 were killed and 18 injured in a collision between a bus and a police truck.

• South Africa June 2 — At least 9 people were killed and 45 injured after a minibus collided with a bus.

• Nepal June 4 — At least 5 were killed and 19 injured in bus accident.

• Bolivia June 8 — At least 18 people, including 17 students ages 14 to 18, where killed and 37 injured in bus accident.

• Afghanistan June 10 — Eight people were killed and five others injured after the bus they were travelling in overturned in western Farah province.

• Turkey June 12 — At least 7 people, including a child, were killed when a passenger bus skidded off the road into a wooded area.

• Croatia June 23 — Eight Czechs were killed in a bus crash in Croatia.

• Argentina June 26 — A triple collision between a truck and two passenger buses caused 12 fatalities and 53 injuries in Chubut Province, Argentina.

• Bolivia June 26 — At least 7 died and 8 injuries occurred when a minibus collided with a cargo truck.

• Nepal June 26 — At least 10 people were killed and 5 seriously injured in micro bus accident.

• Peru June 27 — At least 13 people were killed and 40 injured when a bus plunged 70 meters into a ravine.

• Nepal July 3 — At least 8 people were killed and around 27 were injured in a bus accident.

• Chile July 4 — At least 10 people were killed and 20 injured when a lumber truck slammed into a passenger bus.

• South Africa July 4 — At least 7 people were killed and 17 injured in a collision between and minibus and a truck.

• Ukraine July 7 — A bus crash in northeastern Ukraine killed at least 14 Russian pilgrims.

• Nigeria July 12 — At least 121 were killed and 75 injured when a road tanker overturns and later explodes in Okobie, Nigeria.

• Nepal July 15 — At least 39 pilgrims were killed in a bus crash near the town of Parasi, Nepal.

• India July 15 — At least 15 were killed in a Kashmir bus crash.

• Nepal July 16 — At least nine were killed in a bus accident in Nepal.

• Brazil July 16 — At least 10 were killed and 24 injured in bus accident.

• Turkey July 21 — At least 13 were killed and 10 injured in a collision between a minibus and a bus.

• United States July 22 — Fifteen were killed when the Ford F250 pickup truck they were riding in collided with two trees in Goliad, Texas. Only the driver, a Mexican, carried identification; the rest were apparently illegal Hispanics. Nine passengers survived.

• Poland July 30 — Nine people were killed and one person seriously injured after a train and a minibus collided in the Polish town of Bratoszewice.

• South Africa August 2 — At least 12 died when a minibus collided with a truck.

• Russia August 5 — Seven people were killed when two cars collided on a highway in Russia’s central Novgorod region.

• New Zealand August 7 — 1 person killed in a 3 car collision south of Auckland, Remuera.

• India August 8 — At least 31 were killed and more than 30 injured after a bus fell into a gorge in state of Meghalaya.

• Republic of Moldova August 9 — At least 11 died and 39 were injured in bus accident in Ungheni District, Moldova.

• Morocco September 4 — A passenger bus traveling between Marrakesh and Ouarzazate crashed in a ravine in southern Morocco killing at least 42 people and injuring 25.

• Romania September 8 — A tractor was hit by a train in Covasna County, Romania killing eight.

• Haiti September 12 — At least 12 people were killed and 18 injured when a bus overturned and fell off a mountainous highway in Haiti.

• Greece September 14 — At least four Russian tourists were killed after their bus overturned in northern Greece.

• Russia September 16 — At least 10 people were killed, including a child, when the minibus collided with a truck on a highway in Stavropol Region.

• Saudi Arabia September 17 — At least 13 people, including 10 Indians, were killed in a bus accident in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

• Uganda September 18 — At least 30 people were killed when a bus they were traveling in got crushed and caught fire.

• Russia September 22 — Five teenagers and two adults were killed and three were injured when a car slammed into a bus stop in western Moscow.

• Egypt October 8 — Twenty-one members of the Egyptian security forces were killed in a vehicle accident on the Sinai Peninsula.

• Romania October 13 — Eight people died and one was seriously injured in the collision between a truck and a van in Arad County, Romania.

• Sudan October 14 — At least 13 were killed and 26 injured when a mini-bus collided with a bus.

• Afghanistan October 19 — At least 11 people were killed and 36 were injured when a passenger bus crashed into a fuel tanker in Jowzjan Province.

• Nigeria October 19 — At least 33 people died when a bus plunged into a river.

• Iran October 20 — At least 26 were killed in bus accident.

• Brazil October 22 — At least 11 people were killed and 11 injured in Rio de Janeiro after a passenger bus plunged over a cliff.

• Philippines October 28 — At least 7 people died and 42 were injured when a passenger bus hit a concrete fence in Cebu Province.

• Bangladesh October 29 — A bus fell off a bridge killing at least 9 people and injuring 30.

• Indonesia October 29 — At least 3 people were killed and 7 injured in car accident at Soroako, South Sulawesi.

• Saudi Arabia November 1 — At least 22 were killed and 111 injured when a fuel truck crashed and exploded in Riyadh.

• Republic of Moldova November 4 — A minibus was hit by a train and killed four people in Anenii Noi District, Moldova.

• Ghana November 16 — Twenty-nine people were killed when a Metro Mass bus and a Benz bus had a head-on collision at Kogni, Ghana on the Tamale-Bolgatanga road.

• Egypt November 17 — A school bus is hit by a train. At least 50 children and the bus driver died in the crash.

• Russia November 19 — At least 3 were killedand several injured by car that crashed into bus stop in Moscow.

• United States November 22 — Two people were killed and 120 were injured in a 100 car pile up on Interstate 10 just outside of Beaumont, Texas.

• Ukraine November 23 — Four people were killed and seven were injured when the minibus they were riding in collided with a car in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In another accident in Luhansk region, two people died and seven others were injured after a bus carrying 10 people went off the road and fell into a ditch.

• Italy November 24 — Six people died when a regional train slammed into a car that was crossing the tracks near the southern city of Cosenza.

• India November 24 — At least 16 people were killed and 45 were injured after a passenger bus fell into a deep gorge in Kashmir.

• Indonesia November 30 — At least 7 people were killed and 9 were injured when a minibus plunged into a valley in Aceh province.

• Colombia December 17 — At least 27 people were killed and 15 injured in a bus accident in Colombia.

• Nigeria December 18 — A truck veered out of control in the Sokoto State and plunged into a river, killing 27 men.

• Sudan December 20 — At least 33 people were killed and 24 injured when two inter-city buses collided in Sudan. A passenger bus and a minibus crashed near the community of El Kamlien, about halfway between Khartoum and Wad Medani.

• Indonesia December 22 — At least 7 passengers of a tour bus were killed in a crash with a truck in West Java, Indonesia.

• China December 24 — At least 11 children were killed after van fell into a pond in Jiangxi.

• United Kingdom December 25 — Two boys, aged 4 and 10, and a woman died in a crash on the M6 motorway in Staffordshire.

• Ecuador December 26 — At least 13 people died and 37 were injured when a bus felt into a ravine in Tungurahua Province in Ecuador.

• Nigeria December 27 - At least 9 people were killed and 11 were injured when a bus collided with a truck in Nigeria.

• Republic of Moldova December 28 — At least 4 people died and 21 were injured when two buses collided in Hîncești District.

• Nepal December 28 — A bus veered off a mountain road and plunged into a river in western Nepal. At least 13 people were killed and 19 were critically injured.

• United States December 31 — A bus in northern Oregon skidded on ice, crashed through a guardrail and tumbled a couple hundred feet down an embankment killing nine people and injuring at least 26.

• Senegal January 2 — At least 18 people were killed and 16 others injured when a minibus and a packed coach collided in western Senegal.

• Russia January 3 — At least 7 people died when three cars collided in Yaroslavl Oblast.

• Russia January 3 — At least 5 people were killed and 2 injured when two vehicles collided in Saratov Oblast. In another accident a passenger bus and a car collided in Leningrad Oblast, killing at least 4 people.

• Colombia January 5 — At least 11 killed, including 4 children and 33 injured in bus accident in Colombia

• India January 10 — At least 25 people, including 11 children, were been killed when the truck they were travelling in overturned in the eastern Indian state of Bihar.

• Nepal January 12 — At least 29 people killed after a bus veered off a mountain road and crashed in Nepal.

• Ukraine January 18 — At least 4 people were killed and 16 injured when a bus and a truck collided in Lviv Oblast.

• Russia January 18 — At least 6 were killed and 2 injured in car crash in Volgograd Oblast.

• Brazil April 2 — At least 7 people were killed in bus accident in Rio de Janeiro.

• Papua New Guinea April 3 — At least 24 killed in Papua New Guinea when bus rolled off a cliff.

• Nigeria April 3 — At least 18 people were killed when two buses collided in Nigeria.

• Pakistan April 5 — At least 5 people were killed including a child and 7 injured in a collision between a bus and a car in Balochistan, Pakistan.

• Iran April 5 — At least 18 people were killed, including 15 Afghans in road accident in Iran.

• Nigeria April 5 — A bus and a petrol tanker collided in Edo State, 36 people were killed.

• Peru April 13 — At least 34 people were killed and another 7 injured in a bus accident in Peru.

• Mexico May 7 — 27 people were killed and 36 injured after a tank truck driver lost control of it and ran into several cars and houses before it exploded on Federal Highway 85 in Ecatepec de Morelos, Mexico.

• India May 9 — At least 39 people die, including 3 children and another 40 were wounded in bus crash in state of Himachal Pradesh.

• Argentina May 27 — A collision of a minibus with a truck in northern Santa Fe, Argentina caused 10 deaths and one injury.

• Montenegro June 23 — A bus carrying Romanian tourists plunged into a ravine near Moraca Monastery, Montenegro, killing 18 and injuring 32.

• Spain July 8 — A bus went off the track in Avila, Spain killing 9 and injuring 5.

• Egypt July 21 — At least 15 soldiers were killed and another 40 were wounded in a collision between a lorry and a bus.

• Thailand July 23 — At least 19 people died and another 20 were injured after a bus collided with a truck in Saraburi Province.

• Italy July 28 — A tour bus returning from a pilgrimage went off the highway into a ravine, killing at least 39 people and injuring at least 9 near Avellino, outside Naples.

• Brazil August 7 — A passenger bus ran off the viaduct in Itaguai, Brazil and fell 40 meters (130 feet). At least six were killed and there were also injuries.

• Republic of Moldova August 14 — At least 8 people were killed age 17 and 24, including 5 boys and 3 girls in road accident in Chișinău the capital of the Republic of Moldova.

• Malaysia August 21 - At least 37 people were killed and 18 others injured when the bus carrying 53 passengers crashed into ravine at Genting Highlands, Pahang state, Malaysia.

• United States August 22 — 50 people were injured when a tour bus rolled over on the Foothill Freeway (210) near the San Gabriel Freeway (605) in Irwindale, California.

• United States August 22 — 43 soldiers were injured when a bus carrying troops slid off a rain-slickened highway on Oak Meadow Road and Highway 150 in Mooresville, North Carolina.

• United States August 24 — Five people were injured on their way to the 50th-anniversary commemoration of the March on Washington. Three charter buses taking a group from Detroit into downtown Washington D.C. got into an accident around near Connecticut Avenue and Devonshire Place in Northwest.

• Great Britain August 25 — 8 people were injured when a police car crashed into two other vehicles while on the A127.

• Great Britain September 5 — Two hundred were injured with more than 100 vehicles involved in a series of crashes in thick fog on the A249 Sheppey crossing in Kent, England.

• South Africa September 5 — 27 people killed and 80 injured when a tractor trailer goes through a red light in Pinetown, South Africa.

• Russia September 7 — At least 9 people were killed and another 20 injured in a collision between a coach and a bus in Pskov Oblast.

• Indonesia September 8 — At least 7 people were killed and 8 injured when a car collided with a minibus on the Jagorawi Toll Road in Jakarta.

• Romania September 8 — At least 11 people were killed, including a 13 year old boy after a minibus was hit by a train in Iași County.

• Guatemala September 9 — Bus crash killed 43 people, including 3 babies and another 40 were wounded.

• Iran September 10 — A collision between two buses claimed life of 44 people in Iran.

• Romania September 12 — At least 3 people die and another 29 were injured after two coach collided in Nădlac a city in Arad County, Romania.

• United States September 14 — A Greyhound bus carrying 52 people flips onto its roof injuring at least 34 people in Butler County, Ohio.

• Canada September 18 — A double-decker bus and a passenger train collided Ottawa, Canada, killing six and injuring at least 30—all passengers on the bus.

• Afghanistan September 26 — Two vehicle collided in Samangan Province and 9 people, including 5 children were killed and another people wounded.

• United States September 28 — At least five people were killed in a car that crashed just off Interstate 5 in California after it burst into flames and trapped the victims. An 18-year-old woman survived.

• Turkey September 30 — At least 7 people died and 12 others were injured in a road accident in Sakarya Province.

• United States October 2 — A passenger bus overturned, hit a tractor-trailer and another vehicle in Jefferson County, Tennessee on Interstate 40. At least 8 people died and 14 others were injured. The Interstate was closed in both directions for a time.

• India October 3 — A cargo truck crashed into two minivans loaded with laborers headed to work northeast India about 160 kilometers (100 miles) west of Gauhati, the capital of Assam state. 28 were killed, including 13 children. Another 20 people were injured.

• Mexico October 4 (Friday) morn — Bus fell into a ravine in south-central Mexico; 14 people killed.

• Mexico October 6 — In Chihuahua, Mexico, a monster truck hit people and 8 of them die, including 1 kid in a car show.

• Peru October 7 — At least 19 people were killed and 18 others injured after a bus plunges into ravine. The dead include 2 children and 17 adults.

• Thailand October 7 — At least 16 people die, including a driver and a pregnant woman after a truck hit a tree in Thailand.

• United States October 9 - A Greyhound bus going from New York City to Ohio crashed into a tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 near the Williamsport exit killing a woman, and injuring 44 others.

• India October 10 — At least 20 people were killed and another 30 were wounded in truck accident in Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

• Peru October 11 — Bus accident in Peru killed 10 people and another 25 were wounded.

• United States October 10–39 University of Delaware students, members of the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority, were injured when the bus they were riding overturned south of Wilmington. Nine were taken to the hospital.

• Peru October 12 — A makeshift bus carrying 52 Quechua Indians in the provincial capital of Santa Teresa, Peru plunged off a cliff ending up in the Cachimayo River, killing everyone, including 14 children.

• Russia October 13 — A collision between a minibus and another vehicle killed 13 people and another 3 were wounded in Samara Oblast.

• Turkey October 16 — Two road accidents killed 10 people. 7 people die in a collision between a minibus and a car in Şanlıurfa Province and in Gaziantep Province 3 people were killed after an oil tanker was hit by the minibus.

• Pakistan October 18 — A bus accident in Pakistan killed 3 people and 15 others were injured.

• Philippines October 19 — At least 19 people were killed and another 46 wounded in a collision between 3 buses and 4 trucks in Quezon a province in the Philippines.

• Thailand October 24 — At least 23 people were killed and another 15 wounded after a bus crashed into a ravine.

• India October 30 — At least 45 dead and another 5 wounded as a bus hit a culvert and caught fire while overtaking and damaging its fuel tank resulting in an inferno.

• Kenya October 30 — At least 11 people were killed and another 34 wounded when a train hit a bus in Nairobi, Kenya.

• United States October 30 - At least 3 people killed and another 12 wounded after a dust storm led to a crash on Interstate 10 in Arizona.

• Morocco October 31 — A bus crash in Morocco killed 11 people and another 28 were wounded.

• Colombia November 2 — Five people were killed and another 25 wounded in a bus accident in Betulia, Antioquia department, Colombia.

• Brazil November 3 — Bus crash in Rio Grande do Sul killed at least 4 people, including a 14 year old boy and another 40 people were wounded.

• Colombia November 3 — At least 4 people were killed and another 30 wounded in a bus accident in Melgar, Tolima department, Colombia.

• Colombia November 4 — A bus crashed and into in a ravine in Cauca department, Colombia. The crash killed 13 people and another 61 were wounded.

• Sri Lanka November 4 — A bus accident killed at least 10 people, including 5 women and another 18 people were wounded in Sri Lanka.

• Turkey November 5 — A minibus accident killed at least 6 people, including 2 Syrians and another 11 people were wounded in Turkey.

• Pakistan November 8 — At least 5 people die and several others were injured in a bus accident in Pakistan.

• South Africa November 12 — At least 29 people were killed and several others wounded in a collision between a truck and the bus in South Africa.

• United States November 30 — Actor Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas were killed when their vehicle spun out of control and hit a tree in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California

• Philippines December 16 — At least 22 people were killed after a bus fell off the Metro Manila Skyway.

• Pakistan January 15  — At least 21 people die, including 18 students, 3 teachers and another 11 students were wounded after school van collided with a truck in Sindh.

• Turkey January 23  — In Turkey, 20 people were killed and another 28 wounded in bus accident.

• United States January 24  — At least 3 people died and another 20 injured in a 40 vehicle crash on the Interstate 94 in Indiana in La Porte County, Indiana.

• India February 4  — At least 10 people die and another 35 were injured when a bus falls into a ditch while travelling between the Indian cities of Pune and Satara.

• Ukraine February 4  — At least 13 people were killed and another 6 injured when a bus was hit by a train in Sumy Oblast, Ukraine.

• Argentina February 7  — At least 18 people were killed, and 14 were injured, when a long-distance bus collided head-on with a truck that was travelling the wrong way on National Route 7, some 45 kilometres from the provincial capital of Mendoza.

• United States February 14  — At least 24 were injured in a massive traffic nightmare when up to 100 vehicles crashed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

• United States March 1 — At least one person was killed and 20 others injured in two pileups on I-25 in Denver, Colorado.

• Pakistan March 2 — A collision between a car and a bus killed at least 7 people in Balochistan, Pakistan.

• Pakistan March 22 — 35 people are killed when two buses and two tanker trucks collide in Hub, Balochistan, Pakistan.

• United States April 10 — 10 people were killed when a semi-tractor trailer crossed the median and crashed into a tour bus carrying high-school students on I-5 in Orland, California.

• Colombia April 18 — A bus crowded of children coming back from religious services in fundacion, magdalena, get on fire when the bus driver mishandled a gas can, killing at least 31, most of them children.

• Pakistan April 19 — A speeding passenger bus smashed into a tractor-trailer, leaving 42 dead in Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan.

• India July 24 — A train collided with a school bus in the village of Masaipet in Telangana, India that resulted in 26 deaths in which 25 were students.

• Peru August 8 — A bus accident occurred on a highway in Junin, Peru that resulted in at least 18 deaths and 40 injuries.

• China August 9 — A tour bus plunged off a cliff after hitting two vehicles in Tibet resulted in 44 deaths and 11 injuries.
