Jangaon district is a proposed district in the Indian state of Telangana.[1] It was a part of the Warangal district prior to the re-organisation of districts in the state.
Geography
The district is spread over an area of 2,187.50 square kilometres (844.60 sq mi).[2]
Demographics
As of 2011[update] Census of India, the district has a population of 582,457.[2]
Administrative divisions
The district will have two revenue divisions of Jangaon and Ghanpur (Station) are sub-divided into 13 mandals.[2][3]
