Miss Philippines Earth 2010, the 10th edition of the Miss Philippines Earth beauty pageant, will be held on April 24, 2010 at the Acquatica, Manila Ocean Park, Manila, Philippines.[1] Miss Philippines Earth is the largest and most widely participated beauty pageant in the Philippines with 49 official delegates participating this year.[2][3][4]

The event will be aired by ABS CBN Network in the Philippines at 10 'o clock in the evening on April 25, 2010 and will be shown internationally via The Filipino Channel. Sandra Seifert, Miss Philippines Earth 2009 and Miss Earth Air 2009 will crown her successor and will represent the Philippines in the international Miss Earth 2010 beauty pageant, which will be held in Vietnam.

Aside from the Miss Philippines Earth 2010 winner, four other equal winners will be crowned. Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2009 Grezilda Adelantar, Miss Philippines Fire 2009 Patricia Tumulak, Miss Philippines Air 2009 Michelle Braun, and Miss Philippines Water 2009 Catherine Loyola will crown their successors.

Carousel Productions, the organizer of Miss Philippines Earth, has changed the ranking of the runners up and winners in 2009. The judges will select 10 finalists who will compete for the top five. The top five will vie for the grand crown (Miss Philippines Earth) and the four other equal crowns. The remaining five finalists who failed to advance in the top five will serve as the runners up of the pageant.[5][6]

Philippines Pandan Emerie Dale M. Cunanan won second runner up in the Turismo Pilipina 2008 pageant.[8]
United States USA East Coast (Fil.) Rene Rosario A. McHugh was a semifinalist at the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2009 (Jewel of the Phillipines) pageant. She also bagged the Photographers’ Choice award in the same contest.[9][10]
Philippines Iriga City Aizza Francesca V. Briñas competed and became a semifinalist in the Miss Tourism Intercontinental 2003 held in Kuching, Malaysia.[11][12]. She also competed in the Binibining Pilipinas 2004 pageant.
Philippines Malabon City Kimberly Ann S. Brandon won the Miss Bikini Philippines- International 2009 conducted by Slimmer’s World, the same pageant which participated by Binibining Pilipinas 2010 semifinalist Mariella Castillo, where she emerged as first runner up.[13][14]
