The Motorola Droid 2 is the fifth phone in the Droid line. In the US it is available exclusively on Verizon Wireless.[2] It runs the Android operating system by Google, and is capable of running Flash Player 10.1.[2] It comes with 8Gb of internal memory and is shipped with an additional 8GB SDHC card, upgradeable to 32GB. It has a 3.7" display and a 5 megapixel camera.[2] Unlike the Droid X, the Motorola Droid 2 features a redesigned physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and also features Swype.[2] A limited edition version featuring Star Wars character R2D2 will become available in September.[2] Sales of the device began on the 11th of August 2010.[3]
