2014 FIFA World Cup broadcasting rights

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 213.204.103.19 (talk) at 11:01, 11 June 2014. The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

This article refers to the official or licensed broadcasters of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The broadcasting rights have been sold directly by FIFA, or through licensed companies or organizations such as the European Broadcasting Union, Organización de Televisión Iberoamericana, International Media Content, Dentsu, RS International Broadcasting & Sports Management[1] and MP & Silva.[2][3]

Several territories and countries (ex.: India, Italy, Algeria, Korea Republic) are grouped as they share common broadcasters, and sometimes, common geographic space.

This will be the last World Cup to be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks and Univision in the United States, as Fox Sports and Telemundo will take over coverage starting with the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
