Yeah, I'd be interested in going for that. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) #GG (talk) 10:08, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm free. One question: how do I get involved in the creation stage, since that apparently is the easiest bit to screw up in this thing? リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) #GG (talk) 07:59, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sure thing. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) #GG (talk) 08:13, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I copied the expansion thing from WP:FOUR#Collaborations just to be sure that I got in on the article creation stage. It can go now. But yeah, the article's starting to look pretty good. I'm with you on the J.R. hook, sounds like the way to go. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) #GG (talk) 11:59, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not really familiar with the DYK process, so could you explain the QPQ thing? How would you provide it if I nominated the article? リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 01:31, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't reviewed anyone so how could I nominate the article? リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 01:39, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you have the QPQ, shouldn't you just make the nomination and say it's a co-nomination/co-creation just so we don't get shot down instantly when they see that I don't have a QPQ. You also know how these DYKs actually work. I've gotten all my previous DYK credits without making any nominations myself or taking any part in any of the discussions. I'll jump in when they have any questions or comments about the DYK. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 09:30, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The name is mentioned for example here (盟友タッグ) and here. It can be incorporated into the article once we start writing the storylines/event sections. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 11:47, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'll be concentrating on the storylines and aftermath sections as I feel those are my strong suit. Are we doing all sections in the next part and not "saving" them for the final part? リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 03:31, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've written the first version of the storylines section. You're a veteran of this good article thing, so I'm all for you making any edits or voicing any concerns about the section. Same with pictures, I added two, but these can be moved around when you're done with the event section and know which ones you want to use there. I've tried to keep the Japanese sources to an absolute minimun, using them only when I couldn't find the same info in English. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (talk) 16:39, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I was actually thinking about cutting all the title matches apart from the IWGP Tag Team Championship and IWGP Heavyweight Championship, since those have absolutely no storyline behind them at all, just some challenges, and since the section's name is "storylines". How do you feel about that? リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (LOLTNA) 13:45, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There's not much I could add to the other title match storylines. Omega made his first after signing a contract, had no prior storyline with Taguchi, did not earn his title shot anywhere. Taguchi for the past months had been involved a separate feud with Suzuki-gun. Ishii had no interaction with Makabe, who came out of nowhere to challenge for the title, having been involved in the Bullet Club storyline the past months. Ibushi also came out of nowhere to challenge Nakamura. He had just become a heavyweight, before getting injured and this was his return match. The IWGP Jr. Tag title is just an afterthought, it's always the same three/four teams in the title match with no real storylines ever. Bullet Club, meanwhile, is one of THE acts in NJPW, while absolutely not because of Yujiro, Fale or Jarrett, but I thought Jarrett's involvement in the match would justify this. The Suzuki-gun storyline also explains Pro Wrestling Noah's involvement and led to the whole Noah invasion storyline, which is one of the year's biggest puroresu storylines. The Naito/Styles thing should go, since I added that just to cover all the matches. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (LOLTNA) 14:24, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The only thing that struck me was the "Out of Time" name for one of the Time Splitters' move. I can't find it in the sources (they mention moonsault/neckbreaker combo) and the move's actual name is "Outatime", presumably after the license plate of the DeLorean from Back to the Future. Other than that minor thing, it looks good to me. I'm also pretty much done with aftermath section. There's some bits I could add, most notably about Alex Koslov, but don't want to make it too long. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (LOLTNA) 12:03, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We could remove Suzuki-gun and/or Bullet Club from the storylines section if you want to, but I would wait for the actual FA review to see how they feel about its length. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (LOLTNA) 17:49, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (LOLTNA) 12:04, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If that's what it takes, then I guess that's how it's gotta go. Although I'd prefer to get it done as soon as possible, I'm in no particular hurry. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (LOLTNA) 09:06, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday. I checked a few links on the Internet Archive and they seem to be there for the most part. I'll archive the ones on my watchlist later today. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen) (LOLTNA) 07:52, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Triplemania XXII

First of all, thank you for your work on the Triplemania article I am glad to see someone else work on the Lucha articles, maybe in return I should work on a Japanese wrestling article after I am done with my Triplemania work ;-) I found something that could help give you a little detail for the event section if you need it - http://www.luchalibreaaa.com/eventos-magnos/triplemania/item/1659-noche-de-leyenda-en-triplemanía-xxii.html - it's the official AAA event recap, which yes is a primary source but it is not like anything in there is contentious, I figured it may just give you a few more details to work with.  MPJ -Fiesta Triplemania  03:13, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • @MPJ-DK: - I'm almost done with the article, all that is left is to trawl through Medio Tiempo. I can't expand the Reception section more unless Medio Tiempo produces something, though. Plus the Gladiators website is dead. starship.paint ~ KO 02:31, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Miniapolis: - thank you so much for your extensive copyedit. Your hard work is greatly appreciated. Although, I have a dispute with the removal of the nicknames of moves in the Event section. As such, most of the moves only have their technical names remaining (like kick-brainbuster combination losing the Chasing the Dragon name). Are you strongly opposed to these nicknames? Because fans who watch will definitely be more familiar with move nicknames (called by commentators) than technical names which are not always mentioned. starship.paint ~ KO 13:06, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Never happened before

I've always wondered if this would happen but I never expected it too. Long time ago, about 6 years I think, I found out how to make a personal signature. I went through alot of versions, with colors, links, phrases (Joe's gonna kill you), etc. I finally settled on WillC since my name is William Chaudoin and I liked the idea of WillC since it sounds like "We'll See". Sounded sarcastic to me. Then one day about 4 years ago I think I ran across another user, User:WillC. I always wondered if his account and my signature would get confused and not until now has that occurred. To answer your question, I didn't write that article and I've never done a bio. Only non-wrestling articles I ever considered expanding was Transformers: Beast Wars, Disturbed (band) albums, Punisher related items, and TNA Impact! (video game) (though wrestling it is a game primarily). You may consult him, he/she may be of help.--WillC 05:46, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like User:Gloss did Josh Hutcherson. They do good work, I think they reviewed one of my GANs one time. Helpful person all the times I've dealt with them. Not sure how you thought I did it though.--WillC 05:50, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ben Carson

Hi, I see you've been active on the Carson article. I'd appreciate your help/advice re: the large credibility section I added. Lahaun (talk) 03:40, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note. At least for the time being, Carson is no longer a surgeon or even a very well paid self-promoter, he's a presidential candidate and, as such, his credibility is of significant importance. And, more than any other 2016 candidate, Carson's appeal to voters is based largely on his personal narrative, his life story as told by him. If that story is false, his viability as a candidate and self-promoter collapses. The fact that Carson is receiving fast and furious media attention about mostly nothing other than his credibility reinforces the notion that his credibility is key to his overall biography. If he withdraws as a candidate, then, maybe the article can be revised, but until then, I think his credibility warrants a level 2 section. Lahaun (talk) 18:33, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Roman Reigns 2016

The Persona and reception section of Roman Reigns is too much extensive. I would prefer only keeping the persona contents and omitting the public reactions. If the abated information appears to be very less, the whole section should be removed. What are your thought regarding that? Currently, I am working on it to be a good article (I had read the criteria). Thanks. Ikhtiar H (talk) 07:12, 11 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Ikhtiar H: - I disagree with omitting the public reactions ... the rejection of a top babyface by the audience definitely should be included. Emma and Dana Brooke

However the sources already said with Dana Brooke or Emma, how is managing consider for you?TheBellaTwins1445(talk) 9:48, May 16, 2016 (UTC)

  • @TheBellaTwins1445: - when members of tag teams or stables (two or more active wrestlers) support each other at ringside, it might not be managing. Ambrose ringside when Rollins and Reigns wrestled. Kalisto ringside when Sin Cara wrestled. Barrett ringside when the rest of the League wrestled. In these controversial cases, the higher standard of a source saying "Dana is the manager of Emma" or "Emma is managing Dana" is needed in the sources. Just because Emma is at ringside at NXT TakeOver: Respect does not make her a manager. Just because Dana comes out with Emma on an episode of NXT and stays at ringside does not make her a manager either unless the source says so. starship.paint ~ KO 02:52, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WWE.com shows WWE World Heavywieght Championship. Pretty sure im gonna get a ban after changing back it so many times. Admin locked it down for a few days and reverted it back. Wasnt gonna reply to this as I'm taking a break from WIKI at the moment but since it's a lie..... First off Ummmmm I never added any of those accomplishments to The Shield article NOT ONE, Which now makes you a liar and a troublemaker,Now I have in the past reverted edits which removed them from the article but that was before I noticed the memo on the article about nothing being added prior to Nov 2012 and After June 2014 after Starship pointed it out, then I removed them anytime they were added back and helped explain the memo better on the article so it was less confusing which I was thanked for by Starship, but I never added any of them to the article, others added them. As a matter of fact I removed the NXT title off of the article because I misread it to which I reverted myself and put it back. There is NOT one history log for The Shield that would show I EVER added any of the accomplishments you just accused me of adding to that article, they were added by others. So once again YOUR WRONG. Secondly you were not pinged by either Starship or I on this convo which means you are borderline WP: Harassment, Are you trying to get blocked or banned? Knock it off all your doing is making things worse for yourself and this is going to get you into nothing but trouble,LET IT GO,MOVE ON! • Hi Starship, re. this, we normally only waive the two-week rule when noms have received little or no commentary. OTOH I realise that for the last few weeks of its life this one was in a similar situation and there were no outstanding issues when it stalled. So okay, go for it, but suggest leave it till after the weekend as we usually clear a few from the FAC list just before the start of a new week, and if you're notifying previous reviews it's up again you may as well do that at the start. re Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Archive 93#The Magical Search Tool For Pro Wrestling Reliable Sources

That links to http://www.google.com/search?q=%22insert+search+target+here%22+site:f4wonline.com+OR+site:pwtorch.com+OR+site:slam.canoe.ca+OR+site:pwinsider.com+OR+site:wrestleview.com+OR+site:baltimoresun.com+OR+site:independent.co.uk+OR+site:www.pwi-online.com

I am wondering if it would be possible for us to code this as a template that users might conveniently link to on their userpages (I would like to) if they would like to do a search for references which they could use to support material without generating objections.

I believe there is a way we could code this based on template:google and in the source code have an aesthetic alphabetized list of anything at Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Sources#Official promotion websites or Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Sources#Websites proven reliable so that we could easily do a visual comparison of the sites in the template and the sites on the sources page to make sure all of them are listed.

For example as a start from what you listed:

  1. baltimoresun.com
  2. canoe.ca
  3. f4wonline.com
  4. independent.co.uk
  5. pwi-online.com
  6. pwinsider.com
  7. pwtorch.com
  8. wrestleview.com

TBA I notice:

  1. cagematch.net
  2. impactwrestling.com
  3. miami-herald.com
  4. prowrestling.net
  5. rohwrestling.com
  6. rollingstone.com
  7. skysports.com
  8. thehistoryofwwe.com
  9. wwe.com

I don't know if it's possible to site: for http://grantland.com/contributors/the-masked-man to limit to David Shoemaker's works in a search though. Actually that apparently redirects to http://grantland.com/contributors/david-shoemaker/ now. His latest article http://grantland.com/the-triangle/wwe-john-cena-next-babyface-roman-reigns-dean-ambrose-cesaro-alberto-del-rio-seth-rollins-hell-in-a-cell-raw/ makes me think if we had to include a URL it ought to be grantland.com/the-triangle/ which I figure is the name of his column there. You simply renamed the link to the 2015 shooting to "North Park Elementary School shooting". pretty silly to edit war when you are dead wrong. It isn't even a debatable fact. In the Moor(e)s

I did a bunch of edits to the Roy Moore article simultaneously with yourself. I didn't even realize were were both doing it and am amazed that we didn't step on each other's toes while we were working away. Thanks for your efforts in cleaning it up. Articles like these rapidly grow "organically" and sometimes virtually explode with edits. Please take a look at what I've done, if you have time and you think my edits could stand improvement. I added some material from a few weeks ago that hadn't made it into the article, and tried to move the growing mass of material about the girls from the lede to the appropriate section. You don't seem all that "retired," but it's all relative, I guess. Activist (talk) 10:29, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Activist: - seeing your contributions I see you mean the main article, not the allegations one. I have barely edited anything on Moore outside of the allegations. Those other things are not within my interest right now because I have exams to study for (and I am not American). For your edits, most seem fine on the surface (I won't check what the sources said). My main concern is the writing "Moore had pursued and/or sexually assaulted numerous teenage girls as young as 14". Because pursuing 16 year olds is legal, even if immoral - and IIRC only one woman was below 14 16. I am cautious that this statement (for those not reading carefully) paints a worse picture than what is alleged like "pursued numerous 14 year olds" or "sexually assaulted numerous 14 year olds" or "sexually assaulted numerous teenage girls" starship.paint ~ KO 11:04, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I did mean the main article. I hadn't even looked at the allegations-only article until I saw that you mentioned it. I'm not aware of any allegations (so far) that Moore had approached or assaulted any girl under 14. The other teens I'm aware of have been 16 through 19. The oldest complaining was the 28 y/o at his law office. His wife was 24 when they married and he was 38. After the first two women disclosed his advances or assaults, I expected more "alleged" victims to quickly "come out of the woodwork," much in the manner of what happened to Harvey Weinstein or Kevin Spacey, or Arnold Schwarzenegger when he was running for governor of California. Also, Moore has been called a "pedophile." That's not a term that would be correctly used for a sexual attraction on the part of an adult to a girl who has reached puberty. That doesn't mean he's not one, just that no such allegations and confirmations have yet been aired. The encounter with the 14-year-old, as described, was a sexual assault by Alabama state law. He is said to have groped her over her underwear, feeling her breasts and genitals, allegedly. He also is alleged to have tried to place her hand over his genitals but she said she pulled away. Lastly, I used the term "numerous" because the major concern is about his past relationships with teenagers and hardly a day goes by when another woman steps forward to add to the charges, so I figured that would be a more durable description than a precise quantification. Is English your first language? If not, you're remarkably competent in it. Lastly, your clarifying the language about Byrne was very helpful. Byrne indeed claimed that he, himself, was a creationist, and the text was ambiguous before your edit. Activist (talk) 11:48, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Activist: - yeah English is my first language. I made a mistake in my own post above regarding the age. One below 16, who was 14. My other concerns remain as above. There was only one under 16 but a poor reading of "Moore had pursued and/or sexually assaulted numerous teenage girls as young as 14". may produce thoughts of many 14 year olds. I have no doubt that the sentence is factually correct - I just think that readers with a poorer grasp of English may think the accusations are worse than they already are (are there multiple 14-year olds? were they all sexually assaulted?). Just an issue with the phrasing. No comment on 'pedophile' - never came to my mind, not saying he is one. starship.paint ~ KO 14:17, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Suggest The allegations collectively portrayed Moore as having pursued numerous teenage girls and sexually assaulting some of them, of which one was as young as 14. There were also similar allegations made by women in their 20s. starship.paint ~ KO 14:35, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If another editor hasn't already done so, I'll make the change, since if you do so you would be restricted from making another revert within 24 hours. I wasn't thinking about the confusion that might come with respect to someone for whom English is not their first language. Thanks so much for the input. Activist (talk) 20:22, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The lede paragraph in question had been changed by another editor before I wrote the above. I modified the sentences in question within the spirit of, and along the lines you suggested, though not verbatim. On television today, Moore's actions have been characterized as "pedophilia." At this point, I think that's a semantic overreach. Thanks again for your helpful input. 23:59, 16 November 2017 (UTC)
I should have read the Talk page before I first edited, though there was no harm done. There was prior discussion about the issues we raised. Some nitwit reverted my edits to the lede. He (?) thought that it needed a specific number of victims, though that's changing like the tab on a taxicab meter as it's constantly rolling over. He thought it was also only about sexual assaults on teenagers as if those over 19 didn't really count. Ugh! Another insisted on adding Moore's long time defense attorney's ludicrous claim that the yearbook dedication was forged. This sort of thing generates feelings of futility. I'll take a look at what hash the article may be now. Thanks. Activist (talk) 18:39, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Presidency of Donald Trump

Hello. Your edit at Presidency of Donald Trump seems to partly restore, without obtaining consensus on the talk page, your similar edit that was challenged, hence violating page restrictions.

Please self-revert. Politrukki (talk) 15:11, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Add"

I've noticed that you are using the vague edit summary of "add" in most of your recent article edits. Could you please take a few extra seconds per edit to write a few words about what you're adding? ~Awilley (talk) 13:59, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you'd briefly specify what you are adding, it would be easier for your fellow editors to understand what happened to an article, just from its history, without reading every diff. — JFG talk 05:00, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit conflict

Yes sorry, I wasn't aware of the edit conflict. That was not intentional. --denny vrandečić (talk) 03:53, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Meatpuppetry

It may not be that particular reddit page you posted, but I do not doubt that there is some forum somewhere that is behind this activity. – Muboshgu (talk) 03:50, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • When I filed this for oversight, I had a feeling but no evidence. You found paydirt. Now I feel confident calling out some accounts publicly. I'll need you to chime in though. You'll get pinged. Great work. – Muboshgu (talk) 04:33, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Muboshgu: - I've got more. Did you see my post at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Donald_Trump#Recent_possible_meatpuppetry_by_/r/the_donald See links 7/8/9/10 starship.paint ~ KO 04:41, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Starship.paint, no, I hadn't seen that yet. They sure have been an active bunch. – Muboshgu (talk) 04:44, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Barnstar of Diligence
Many have watched as wikipedia has morphed into the largest purveyor of fake history the world has ever known. So very few have noticed, even fewer have cared. A Big Thank You for bringing the truth to light. -moe/Canada Moefuzz (talk) 06:41, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Moefuzz - thanks, although I’m not sure you would have given me this barnstar had you known how much of the Spygate article was written by me. Still, I am committed to reflect the reporting of reliable sources on the matter - if reliable sources give alternate definitions, we need to discuss how to include them. starship.paint ~ KO 01:05, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback granted

I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:27, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Muboshgu: - thank you for granting me this, and thank you for your effort in monitoring my contributions. I acknowledge that this is only for reverting vandalism, and I've tested it out. Frankly, I hope I won't have to use it. I guess we'll see if that it really the case XD starship.paint ~ KO 10:27, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Spygate

The NY Times article is an op-ed of her original article-breaking the news that Trump was being spied(it is a synonym for counter intelligence) upon by the federal government. That is the start of Spygate. First step-Trump is crazy no one is wiretapping him! Second step-oh yes he is being wiretapped for his own good. To Trump now explicitly accusing Strozk and Page and hundreds of others of treason-that's not related to Spygate!

Having been here since day 10-seeing the mass exodus of editors-I get it. Left wing cabal encyclopedia. Even by those standards-The Spygate page is embarrassing.

The goalposts went from "no one is spying on Trump" to unless Obama is convicted of treason, Spygate is a hoax. BTW I noticed 99% of you edits were during what most people consider the work week. You may want to hide that better.
