I believe the Heinlein wife that Hubbard had an affair with was Heinlein's second wife Leslyn MacDonald, not his third wife Virginia whom Heinlein didn't marry until 1948. AndroidCat (talk) 20:19, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Prioryman. Could I make a request about photographing a sculpture in Westminster? The lede pic for Knife Edge Two Piece 1962–65 (a Good Article) has just been removed from Commons as it had no licensing information. It would be nice to have a high-quality and up-to-date photo of this sculpture; it received conservation work in 2013, and the best photo on Commons is from 2010. There's also nothing on Flickr or Geograph. There's no hurry whatsoever to do this, but would you be interested? I love the photos of sculptures at Petworth, by the way. Halloween hooks

I'm sorry the discussion on the WT:DYK talk page didn't result in the creation of a subpage for Halloween hooks, which would have put all the suggested and approved hooks in one place and made things much clearer. I understand your listing suggested hooks both in the regular noms area and in the Halloween holding area. But once a hook is approved, I think it should be deleted from the regular noms area and only appear in the Halloween holding area, right? I've done that for a few approved hooks already. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Going-Clear-Scientology-e-la-prigione-della-fede.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Going-Clear-Scientology-e-la-prigione-della-fede.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Finnusertop (talk | guestbook | contribs) 14:06, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Starting with myself, I'm trying to make sure everyone who has been making multiple content edits gets the word that the arb AP case applies to most, if not all, of the article. It does not imply any problems with your edits. I'll be happy to talk more about it if you wish. Just leave a note here, I'm watching this location for a few days. Forts of Montenegro

I just wanted to thank you for the great work you have done, practically single-handedly, on articles related to Montenegrin fortifications. I was surprised by the quality of the articles. Well done. Cheers. Sideshow Bob 08:40, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your kind comments! There are quite a few more forts around the Boka Kotorska that I didn't get the chance to visit or write about, but I hope to tackle them some time. Prioryman (talk) 12:51, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"a bag over his head"

I noticed a small typo, "node" vs. "nod", in a quote you added back in 2013 to History of Gibraltar#Gibraltar as a colony. But then I was struck at the 'tone' of the quote and tried to find that source. The version of the source I could find had a markedly tamer passage.

The Google books version is 1831, a doesn't mention an edition number in Volume II where the quote was found. A volume one at Google books says "A new and revised Edition" and "Third Edition enlarged."

Any idea what 'edition' you had accessed? Can it really be that the book was _that_ revised in the edition I found? All that unseemliness removed? Shenme (talk) 03:25, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for picking up on that typo. I'm afraid don't know which edition it was - I read it in hard copy in the British Library. It evidently went through multiple editions so I'd guess that the one I read was earlier than the online copies that you've found. Prioryman (talk) 12:48, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Privy Garden of the Palace of Whitehall you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Privy Garden of the Palace of Whitehall for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already been on the main page as an "In the news" or "Did you know" item, you can nominate it to appear in Did you know. Wikipedia library Newspapers.com renewal

Your free one-year account with Newspapers.com will end on March 19 2016. Newspapers.com has offered to extend existing accounts by another year. If you wish to keep your account until March 19 2017, please add your name to the Account Renewal list here. I'll let Newspapers.com customer support know, and they will extend your subscription. If you don't want to keep your account for another year, you don't have to do anything. Your account will expire unless I hear from you that you want to keep it.
