This is asking for Wikipedia to host non-encyclopedic content. You are asking for a pros and cons list of the different providers of a free service. This is better done by an individual based on their needs, not a third party. — Johnl1479 22:57, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • In Popular Culture - The "In Popular Culture" section of Wikipedia should have its own page for the purposes of fulfilling Randall Munroe's prediction in his comic XKCD at In Popular Culture. It should have its own "In Popular Culture" section referencing aforementioned prediction.
Such a page could be called In Popular Culture (XKCD) Or you could just add a section to Xkcd --DuLithgow (talk) 15:56, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There is already a reference to this cartoon at Wikipedia in culture#cite_ref-61. -- Ken g6 (talk) 04:13, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • HotSpotSystem Solution for users to create a free or pay for hotspot.HotSpot Website
  • WifiTastic - A company that provides users the ability to create their own commercial hotspot using their existing ISP and charge users. They also use open source software openwrt and use paypal for billing.[5]--Ron John (talk) 19:36, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comparison of Web Hosts - A comparison table for various web hosting services. Nowhere available is any reference to available web hosting services that are actually out there. Such "advertisement" has been banned on the Web Hosting page (in my opinion, it's not advertisement if a fair assessment of service is given.) Wikipedia has comparison charts for all types of software, but none for web hosting services.
There is a difference between software and services. Such a comparison will constitute an advertisement. In addition, the list of webhosts is far to great to be listed on Wikipedia...even if such a list were to be created, it would be biased towards those that are well known, shafting the "little guys" — Johnl1479 23:01, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Aninote - great website where you can have some fun - http://aninote.com/
  • Antogonist, Inc.[verify notability]
  • Anyware - The combination of software, hardware, connectivity/networking and business inteligence to deliver the benefits of traditional computing but to any user in any connected location onto any device that has a browser
  • API key - A code that is required by most websites to use their API library.
  • Awards site - a site where people can come and enter their site into a competition and other people come and vote on other peoples sites.
  • AWESOMEYAY - A website that steals popular Flash games and has no outstanding features above other similar sites. Make an article anyway.
As of 23-July-2008 16:02 (UTC -8) awesomeyay.com could not be resolved. — Johnl1479 23:04, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Better title might bet HTTP RequestsJohnl1479(talk) 18:45, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't feel this kind of a comparison would fall under "encyclopedic content" — Johnl1479(talk) 18:49, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's pornography — Johnl1479(talk) 08:07, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's no necessarily, it's a notable "shock site" and Wikipedia is not censored. -Trampikey(talk (contribs) 19:45, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
While I agree that Wikipedia isn't and shouldn't be censored, I fail to see how that is not pornography — Johnl1479 08:34, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
