Ernest Peak - AKA Lyell 3, L3 or Mt. Lyell (on maps, etc.) - is the central peak of five distinct subpeaks on Mount Lyell (Canada) and is located on the border of Alberta and British Columbia. It was named in 1972 by Sydney R. Vallance after Feuz, Ernest.[1][2]
Geology and Climate
Due to this peak being the central peak, and thus "Mount Lyell", see the Mount Lyell article for geology and climate.
