11°30′N 76°30′E / 11.50°N 76.50°E / 11.50; 76.50 Gudalur taluk is a taluk of Nilgiris district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Gudalur.

Demographics

According to the 2011 census, the taluk of Gudalur had a population of 105,196 with 51,792 males and 53,404 females. There were 1,031 women for every 1,000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 77.91%. Child population in the age group below 6 was 5,455 Males and 5,241 Females.[1]
