Introduction
Bhutandevi Mandir (Nepali: भुटनदेवी मन्दिर) is a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Bhutandevi (a.k.a. Hidimbi), said to be the wife of Bhim (One of the Pandavas) and mother of Ghatotkacha. Butandevi is actually another form of goddess Durga. Situated at Butandevi Road-10 in Hetauda, a town in Makwanpur district of Nepal, the temple of Butandevi i.e. Bhutandevi Mandir is not only famous in Hetauda but all over Nepal. The temple is built to perfect Vastu principles and it is believed that worshiping the goddess helps one to get victory over serious troubles, problems and fear.[1]
