Disambiguation link notification for April 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Gajuwaka, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Independent (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:03, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your move of Uttarandhra[edit]

Hello. I have reverted your move of the article to Kalinga Andhra for being potentially controversial. Do not move articles, especially not articles about controversial subjects such as political subdivisions or geographical areas, without prior discussion on the talk page of the article, and clear support from multiple other editors. For the same reason I have also reverted your change of names in the article. If you feel the article should be moved, start a discussion on the talk page of the article, stating your reason for the proposed move, and providing reliable sources that support a move. Thank you. - Tom | Thomas.W talk 13:09, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. As I saw, you've added Indicscripts to many articles, but as per WP:INDICSCRIPT, Indic scripts should not be added on English Wikipedia and even please have a look at WP:MOSIMAGES for adding images to articles IM3847 (talk) 13:24, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Araku Valley. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. About addition of Images[edit]

First things first, Welcome to Wikipedia. I've been monitoring your edits since you added images to Visakhapatnam article, I've noticed that your'e adding more images to articles like Araku valley and even Telugu names to some village, whereas these two type of edits violate WP:MOSIMAGES and WP:INDICSCRIPT respectively. Since you are a new user, I should assume that you haven't got used to some of the rules and principles of Wikipedia. Notice

The article Andhra University College of Engineering for Women has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unencyclopaedic. Dearth of sourcing, referencing and overall context as well as content.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —SerialNumber54129 paranoia /cheap sh*t room 12:32, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Abelmoschus Esculentus. I noticed that in this edit to Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region, you removed all the content from the page. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Copyright problem on U.Kothapalle[edit]

Content you added to the above article appears to have been copied from http://www.onefivenine.com/india/villag/East-Godavari/U.Kothapalle. Copying text directly from a source is a copyright violation. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, the content had to be removed. Also, we already have an article on this topic: Kothapalle, East Godavari district. All content you add to Wikipedia must be written in your own words. Verifiability[edit]

Hello. Thank you for creating articles for Wikipedia.

Some of your articles, such as Peda Boddepalle and Mulakuddu, do not have a single reference. Verifiability is one of the most important policies, which means all content in Wikipedia must be supported by reliable sources, so that readers can verify the content of the article.

I've tagged the articles in question with the {{unreferenced}} template. If you have added a source to them, you may remove the template in the corresponding article. Happy editing! —AE (talkcontributions) 06:58, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

IM3847 Greetings to you. If AVI3347 provided their email address in Wikipedia system, then one can contact him via email. If not, there is no other way to contact the editor. If you could provide independent, reliable sources indication of the education institutions then you could inline citate the source in the draft page (note: sources from home page, marketing/press releases, user generated content sites and etc are considered primary sources and can NOT be used to demonstrate the notability of the subject). If you could find "group" sources that would be acceptable as well. By the way, sources can be in any languages. Once the sources are provided, then kindly ping me and I will review it. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 06:09, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@CASSIOPEIA: I've added references behalf of AVI3347 and finding a group reference which is reliable for schools is a difficult task in Andhra Pradesh, all I can find are promotional and user generated content. So, I used new papers & official websites as citations, can you please review the draft.--IM3847 (talk) 11:40, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
IM3847 Hi, Official website would consider primary which can not be used to demostrate the notability of the subject. So kindly remove the source/inline citation. Once you have done that, let me know (P/S if you can find review of the institutions, that would be used) Thank you for your assistance on this. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 12:21, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@CASSIOPEIA: I've added a secondary sources with list of educational institutions in each section based on type and replaced some primary resources with secondary for which lists aren't found. In cases where list of colleges/schools are found, primary sources are just used as a backup instead of completely/solely relying on them.--IM3847 (talk) 13:09, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
IM3847 Hi, Thank you very much for assisting and providing the source. Great effort indeed. The page has been reviewed and it is in the main space now. Thank you for your contribution and greatly appreciate. Happy editing and cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:24, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi AVI3347. English sources are preferred. I saw an article on The Hindu, perhaps you could search for another one? If you didn't find one, you may add the local language one. Either way if the districts are formed next week, then we will have more English sources, so they should be good. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 14:27, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Regarding the move of page Ramachandrapuram, Tirupati district - it is incorrect at the moment - because Tirupati district is still not a legal entity yet. Thus, until they are officially declared as the districts, the correct page would be Rama..., Chittoor district. This also applies to other articles if you have moved. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 10:18, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The policy that would. apply here is WP:CRYSTAL - which says we cannot predict what will happen in the future until it actually happened. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 10:19, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Chinturu moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Chinturu, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
