Disambiguation link notification for March 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2017–18 Seton Hall Pirates women's basketball team, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Iona College and St. John Vianney High School (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:20, 10 March 2018 (UTC)
Dates on CBB standings templates
[edit]Please do not make the date on CBB standings templates the current date. The date should be the date that the standings were last updated, and not advance that date. Thank you! --Zachlp (talk) 13:48, 12 March 2018 (UTC)

Question and an invitation
[edit]Thanks for adding the Spokane all tournament team to 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament. I looked for that material but could not find it. I would like to make sure that the material is referenced — can you either add a reference or tell me where you found it and I'll add the reference? I see that you are relatively new, so if you don't know how easy it is to add references using the visual editor please ask me, and I would be happy to show you.
Can I also invite you to join women's basketball task force?:

There's a lot to do, and I appreciate what you have contributed but it is sometimes useful to be able to talk to others interested in the area.--S Philbrick(Talk) 19:23, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- As a follow-up, I'm even more interested in finding a source now because I see that you listed Ogunbowale twice so I'm guessing that you missed one of the five players.--S Philbrick(Talk) 19:32, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
I thought did but I can checked the last name spelling for Notre Dame.
Yeah of course you can
- The missing player is Chennedy Carter.--S Philbrick(Talk) 21:23, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
Oh okay thanks for correct it I really appreciate that
Schedule edits
[edit]Hey. Just wanted to touch base with you and find out why you keep removing TV sources from 2017–18 Nebraska Cornhuskers women's basketball team, as you do so without any explanation. Those listings are from the referenced schedule. GreenRunner0
- I noticed that you undid the edits again. Can we please talk about why? They're in the referenced source. GreenRunner0 20:11, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
I just want to keep them like the way it is so that way I have to revert them again. But you want to keep it like that, then I can respect it since you like it in your references

Speedy deletion nomination of Play4Kay Shootout
[edit]Hello JetCity22,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Play4Kay Shootout for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Ways to improve 2019 Big Ten Conference Women's Basketball Tournament
[edit]Hi, I'm Power~enwiki. JetCity22, thanks for creating 2019 Big Ten Conference Women's Basketball Tournament!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. It's probably WP:TOOSOON to create pages on NCAA basketball conference tournaments; especially if there are no references for the tournament format and game times.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

When creating new college football pages...
[edit]Remember to change the opening from past tense to present tense. You recently created 2018 North Carolina Central Eagles football team but left several words in the opening in past tense, I assume because it was copied from the previous year. Just make sure to change those to present tense upon creation. Bsuorangecrush (talk) 16:24, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
That is what I'm doing, I'm not trying to go back to the past but thanks for updates Bsuorangecrush I really appreciate that and you know I will always do that.
- You are still doing it though. Here is an example from the page you just created it reads: "The 2018 Alabama State Hornets football team represented Alabama State University in the 2018 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Hornets are led by first head coach Donald Hill-Eley and played their home games at The New ASU Stadium in Montgomery, Alabama as members of the East Division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference." Represented and played need to change to present tense and be represents and play.Bsuorangecrush (talk) 20:05, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
Okay, I don't under how am I doing it doing it through. Explain to me how can I can change to present tense so I can understand it Bsuorangecrush. Otherwise thank you.
- You don't understand present tense vs past tense? Never mind then, I'll just change them for you. Bsuorangecrush (talk) 20:10, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
Okay, then you change them but I do under present tense and past tense. Past tense means go back from 2017 and earlier and present tense means 2018 and beyond but thanks for changing it for me I really appreciate that Bsuorangecrush
- Again, you are creating new pages again and not changing the opening from past to present tense. All you have to change is "represented" to "represents" and "played" to "play". It's not that hard and saves me or someone else from having to change it later. Bsuorangecrush (talk) 21:29, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

2018–19 Portland State Vikings men's basketball team moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2018–19 Portland State Vikings men's basketball team, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. References
[edit]JetCity22, why are you moving the articles back to mainspace without addressing the issues? Why are you not adding references, despite being asked many times? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 20:36, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
Because you keep deleting them, I was going to finish them until you delete those articles and I'm not using the mainspace with the addressing the issues. I know what I'm doing and I'm doing the right thing.
I'm afraid I struggled to understand your message above, but thanks for responding. I'm not deleting them as such, I moved them from mainspace to draft where they could be worked on and easily moved back when ready. Do you understand that you should add references at the time of creation? Do you realise I (and others) have been messaging you on this for months, and you have not added references to those articles in all that time? Will you now add references to the articles you have created? Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 20:52, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
I do add references on there but the problem is...why did you decided to draft them articles for? Because I was working on 5 articles for Big Sky Conference basketball teams until you deleted the main articles to draft them, I just don't understand why did you do that Boleyn? But I do add references to each and every one of those articles one by one and yes I do add references as well, I do it all the time
No, you don't. For example, 2018–19 San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team, which I contacted you about two months ago, still has no references at all. Same for 2018–19 Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team which I also contacted you about in August - you didn't add any referneces, but did remove the unreferenced tag! DO you understand how to reference? See Help:Referencing for beginners. The articles were draftified because they had no references. Boleyn (talk) 10:06, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
Please respond. You've continued to disrupt by creating more unreferenced articles. Boleyn (talk) 19:24, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
October 2018
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:2018–19 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — JJMC89 (T·C) 01:49, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
- You are still performing cut-and-paste moves. Stop. — JJMC89 (T·C) 02:44, 7 October 2018 (UTC)

Warning
[edit]Please respond to my previous message at User talk:JetCity22#References. You have continued to create unreferenced articles despite many, many warnings. Boleyn (talk) 07:20, 7 October 2018 (UTC)
- You've continued to edit, please respond. Boleyn (talk) 11:38, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
What did I do wrong now? I'm not continuing to create unreferenced articles so why are you blocking me for? I'm not doing anything wrong Boleyn
You have been moving unreferenced articles from draft to mainspace repeatedly, edit warring, without making the effort to add references. You have also continued to edit without responding to my last couple of begging attempts to resolve this. Are you planning to stop moving unreferenced articles from draftspace? Do you understand how to reference articles? Thanks for responding to my most recent message; I hope, together, we can solve this. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 18:40, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
I haven’t removing the unreferences in the last 3 days and I don’t understand why are you deleting articles and send them draftspace for? And yes I have been using reference articles even since 2011 Boleyn
You seem to really be struggling to understand why I think they are unreferenced. For example, where are your references in 2018–19 San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team? Thanks for replying, Boleyn (talk) 06:57, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
I see now why now Boleyn, I know what you're saying. I need to add some resource.
Yes, we need to know what your source was. If you look at [1], it lists over 200 unreferenced articles you have created. Are you able to look through them and add your sources? If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Template:California Baptist Lancers women's basketball navbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. unsourced
[edit]Please stop mass creating unsourced articles in mainspace, particularly as they involve WP:BLP. Praxidicae (talk) 18:24, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- Actually, consider this a final warning. You've been adequately warned above, by many different editors. Mass moving and creating completely unsourced content in mainspace is disruptive. You've been told this repeatedly and have even gone as far as to move war with the drafts. If you plan to finish them later, do it in your sandbox or in draft space. Mainspace isn't the place to throw unsourced material and walk away. Praxidicae (talk) 18:26, 24 May 2019 (UTC)

Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. TonyBallioni what I did I do wrong for made you blocked me for? Can you do something about it? Because I can't do indefinite.

I like to know how come they blocked me for? I'm not being abusing for nothing and now I can't create an account because I did something wrong, can you do something about it? let me know ASAP because I can't wait too long
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 18:46, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
So what you're say that this doesn't have anything to do with the address? Yamla
- This is incoherent. You were blocked because you are violating WP:SOCK and WP:EVADE and are the banned user, Dereks1x. Nothing else is relevant. --Yamla (talk) 19:46, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
So what you're trying to say is you can't help me unblock my user even I did something wrong and can't created a username on wikipedia, is that what your saying to me? Yamla
Plus I need to know why you can't unblock me because I'm using a sockpuppets but I'm not. TonyBallioni
- This is incoherent and I cannot understand what you are asking. --Yamla (talk) 20:38, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
And what incoherent mean anyways? Yamla
- You can look up the definition of words in wiktionary. For example, here is the definition of "incoherent". I will not respond further. --Yamla (talk) 10:22, 4 July 2019 (UTC)
So I guess you can't help me for nothing for something I didn't do wrong? Yamla

I need to unblock my account ASAP because I didn't do nothing wrong but doing wikipedia and I did read the guide appealing to block so is there anything you can do to help me because this unacceptable, thanks
Decline reason:
It is clear you still don't comprehend how your actions led to a block, nor how to appeal it, despite multiple explanations. If you don't have the competency to form a WP:GAB-compliant block request, there is no way an admin will unblock you. Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:18, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
