Turán–Kubilius inequality[edit]

Sorry I didnt finish...I'd like to rewrite the background section a little, if it's OK with you. Something along the lines of "While they share some prehistoric commonalities, the countries developed along differing cultural and linguistic lines...all were incorporated into the Russian Empire during the late 18th century, and developed national identities (Lithuanian National Revival, etc) during the 19th century..." Žirmūnai[edit]

The pronunciation was allegedly in the IPA, but it wasn't. It turned out that it was in an ad hoc transliteration also used at Vepriai and maybe for some other Lithuanian cities. AN/I thread[edit]

Thank you for pointing out the respective Digwuren ruling, however, now that I started the thread at AN/I, I suppose I can't take it to AE anymore. Would probably have been the better choice though - the lack of responses of uninvolved admins at AN/I make me feel that accusing "that German" of "whitewashing Nazi crimes" and stating "I do react when hearing German language on the street" is considered legitimate background noise a contributor is expected to endure and not the actionable offense I regard it. FYI I had mentioned that when I went to Poland in 1970 I was warned by Poles never to speak German only English, memories of the war were fresh in the minds of many people. Germans were not allowed to travel there. I also remarked that in 2002 while in Gdansk in 2002 I heard German spoken by persons in the street. Southern Poverty Law Center a reliable organization?[edit]

For clarificaiton, this is what Martintg was inquiring about at the WP:RS noticeboard. Oh, before you answer yourself, you may consider the fact that Petri Krohn is on record as asking everybody who is standing up for him to reveal their real name, e-mail, personal history (resistance to nazism or communism in particular) and any ties to the Russian or Soviet government (I suppose in your case that may include ties to the Lithuanian or, God forbid, German government) to arbcom. ;>)

Hi. I hope you do not object to me trying to help you there - but you should have a good look at the spelling in your table. You have a number of times misspelled meat puppetry and sock puppetry. "administrators function abuse" is also a problem. It needs to be a genitive singular (since your evidence is against ONE admin). "Administrator's function abuse" would both be correct and clearer. Relocation of EEML evidence[edit]

Just a notice: For a few users I have relocated your EEML evidence to a sub-page.

The reasons for this are because your sections are now so long it was becoming impossible to navigate and decipher who wrote what, particularly towards the end of sections. This effectively rendered your evidence as unusable, which was not a good thing.

Rather than reduce the size of your evidence (which I deemed as unfair) I have removed them to private subpages. These are yours and yours alone to edit. They certain make interpreting your evidence MUCH easier.

The downside is that when you update your evidence it does not go into the history log of the principal evidence page. Hence I suggest you add a brief "Updated evidence on ..." note beneath your evidence heading on the main evidence page. This will alert people to changes on your subpage. An extra bit of hassle I know, but it a small price for having evidence which can be understood.

Also feel free to create a single sentence description of your main headings and insert it on the main page below the link I have added. See this for an example from a previous case.

I hope none of you are upset by this - I assure you my only objective was to increase the usability of your evidence.

I made some changes (cleaning up) in the Danielewicz article and I would be gratefull if You can look at it and leave some comments to improve the article.

Furtheremore, as Im quite new on Wiki, I had some troubles to add tag regarding copyright information on my pictures. I reloaded and renamed those pictures, added tags with copyright information and in the articles I change ref. to those new pictures in the articles of Danielewicz and Bohdanow.

Could You please check if i did something wrong again or if it went om this time!?

I've just spend 8 hours on improving and changing...i have to get my life back! ;)

Czeczot[edit]

Greetings! I see many changes in the question of the nationality, I do not question his roots of being from Belarus origin but there are certainly those that want to change it, when they do the change, maybe You could write short comment so they don't change it back. i will of course support Your point of view. Im myslelf of the Ostoja Clan and we perfectly know every family origin from before (about 240 families) and also today. If You need support and references, I can be of help if You wish to use them. I do the historical research of the Ostoja's since 1986, My references is Adam Heymowski (10 years of guiding from his side) and I do not think that anyone would question his publications.
To the question of writing the name, well...in the Commonwealth we had ONE administration and it was actually polish, it was totally dominating in the nobility of both Belarus and in Lithuania. Therefore, I thing that it is correct to write Czeczot as it was the historical spelling of the name in all of the Commonwealh. However, that itselft does not change the facts of the Belarus origin of the Czeczot family.

Adam Mickiewicz[edit]

Please don't revert into this article false information about Adam Mickiewicz, who was only a polish poet. In 19th century both: Poland and Lithuania were not literally on european map, but he was writing only in polish and had contribution only to polish culture. To avoid misleading facts I've given reference from Britannica where facts are clear. Please stop contributing false information. There is a harm for knowledge if only english Wikipedia is given false information when Pl.wikipedia and others are following the truth. I'm able to understand than lithuanian language and national consciousness awake in late XIX c. but there is not a reason to claim that Mickiewicz was a lithuanian poet. Restoring edits by a banned user while simultanously asking for page protection due to banned user activity[edit]

Hi. Recently you reverted my reversions of a banned user here here and here. At the same time it seems you asked for a page to be protected [5] because it was being edited by a banned user. I have no problem with the the request for protection, but it just seems weird that on the one hand you are trying to protect articles from edits by some banned users, while at the same time you are busy restoring edits by another banned user. I'm sorry to say but this smacks of gaming and bad faith. If your concern is that banned users disrupt some articles you can't turn around and try to enable other banned users (putting the question of sock puppetry aside) from disrupting other articles.

Also, your edit summary was completely non-constructive.

While this isn't edit warring per se, it is very much battleground behavior and possibly meat puppeting. If you would like to self-revert your edits and start a discussion on one of the three articles talk pages that would be a start.VolunteerMarek 23:54, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
